A Good Title Company is Important

Can you recommend any investor friendly title companies in Orlando, Florida?

I agree that title companies are instrumental in closing, and I always pay for title insurance which covers buyer. I've had some minor issues when refinancing a property, and when I contacted the title insurance company that took care of the transaction when I bought the property, they were very prompt (and courteous) in correcting the issue.

I would ask other investors in your area; also, if you attend rei meetings in your area, you will either find investor friendly title agents there or investors who can recommend one.

It is very interesting how it differs state by state with whom carries out closings and different activities for a closing. In my state the attorneys handle all the closings and the title companies do all the searches and abstracts.
A good title company is a VERY important part of the team!! As Val said. Ask for recommendations from other investors Have used these companies so they can give you Their precise experience with them.
A preliminary search can give you a world of info on whether to proceed with a deal or not. A good working relationship with the title company can save you thousands of dollars as sometimes they do things for you at no charge when you keep using them!!

I did a search and found companies which were investor friendly online. After that what's awesome is I found out one of my girl friends works at that agency and hooked me up with someone who has been in the business for 30 years and knows double closing ect. So that is the first member of my power team, just need to get the right agent, contractors ect.. All in due time.

But yea just type into google (investor friendly title companies in -state-) you will see forums or yahoo answers just read though it and see what others are saying.

They are amazing tools for investors. I just met with my title company last week and they are now sending me leads to market to. I'm going to be sending out mailings to NOD's and to absentee owners. they will generate any lead that fits to what they can pull from the county records

I am looking for the right title company( that handles double closing and assignment of contract in Orlando and Cleveland too. Anyone know the info?

I have found that often you can use a title company in place of an attorney in order to complete a closing. They will have an in-house legal team that will be able to process the same documents as your personal attorney but for much less.
