About Me:

Married, 3 kids, 2 step kids, 3 grandkids,1 step grandkid. I work full time, I am a minister and an elder at a local church. I love to drive fast and would love to do it competitively although that time clock is ticking. I play trumpet and guitar average at both, I think if I had a place to play I would be a pretty good trumpeter. I love to golf and find a lot of my "need for adventure" these days in sailboat racing. Not as glamorous at my level as it sounds but still competitive and fun.

Interests:
golf sailing driving music

Welcome

I wanted to stop by and welcome you to Deans board. We are all like one big family here on the board. We help each other and ask many questions.
If you will fill out your profile and let everyone know all about you and where you are from...chances are you will find someone living close to you that you can network with and give each other support and knowledge. That is what it is all about in this business.
Dean has provided a great tool here for each of us to become wealthy and several here on the board have became very wealthy...I have watched them go from nothing to where they are today. Personally I have wholesaled 21 cash deals since I started a couple years ago. Get in here and take advantage of all these great resources and new real estate friends and make a drastic change in your life too. I look forward to hearing about your first deal. You can do it! I am cheering for you!

Thank you

Sissy this is long overdue....I am not really that website savvy and it has taken some time to really even explore this site with any usable purpose. I am getting there though. Thank you for the encouragement.

I have been at this now since May 2010. I have not had a hit yet. I keep swinging and I will keep going because I know it works. When I started the success academy they asked if I could put 10 hours a week in. I said yes because I thought no problem. WOW was I surprised. It has been extremely hard to get that time....and stay healthy.... I am working full time, involved in a church, as well as the local REI club meetings, by the time I just get through that stuff my REI time is really limited. I am pressing on with what I have. I continue to come back to the same question over and over....what is the best use of my time? I really do not know. I have buyers, and I keep connecting with new ones all the time. I don't have any 'good deal' sellers yet (lots of sellers out there), I keep marketing for that.

If you could tell a newbie where to spend limited resources of time what would you tell them??

I am c-list marketing and trying to get letters out to driving for dollars deferred maintenance properties. Unfortunately I don;t get to drive much during the days, and weekends seem to get chewed up with family and church. All of which are important. Sometimes it is hard to balance.

I really wanted to make the 5 deals before my 1 year anniversary but that seems to be slipping away..honestly I am OK with that because I know this will work I just need it too, you know what I mean?..any advice would be great.

I responded to you because you had such a thoughtful greeting. I wish I would have acknowledged it months ago. I am sorry about that. But thank you very much.
