I'm from New Orleans Louisiana, I'm currently living in Baton rouge Louisiana. After Hurricane Katrina I moved here. I was attending Tulane University for Architecture but stopped attending because I had to get the bus from Baton Rouge to New Orleans which was overwhelming.

I then set my focus on getting into an art college but once I got to the stage of getting in I found out it was to expensive. One day I saw Dean's commercial and saw the testimonials on the infomercial and decided to purchase his first book. "Be a real estate millionaire."

After I read the book I decided to try real estate investing. I have yet to close on a deal but I managed to build a power team and network with a lot of people in baton rouge area. I'm hoping to close on a deal soon.

I wanted to stop by and welcome you to Deans board. We are all like one big family here on the board. We help each other and ask many questions.
If you will fill out your profile and let everyone know all about you and where you are from...chances are you will find someone living close to you that you can network with and give each other support and knowledge. That is what it is all about in this business.
Dean has provided a great tool here for each of us to become wealthy and several here on the board have became very wealthy...I have watched them go from nothing to where they are today. Personally I have wholesaled 21 cash deals since I started a couple years ago. Hey sphony, have you talked to any re attorneys to see if assignments of contract are legal in Louisiana?
By the way,I'm down here in Houma, have you thought about flipping properties in New Orleans? When I drive through, I see a ton of UGLY homes that look like they need a lot of repair. I see a lot of homes being rehabbed too(historic or semi-historic? I don't know if people are getting grants to repair the homes or something like that) so SOMEBODY is making a profit. I'm currently focusing on residential properties in Houma and Thibodaux right now, but my plan is to eventually expand to New Orleans and Baton Rouge.I have the RBBP and I'm trying to find a realtor to work with as of right now.
