Many cities have issues with violent crime and recent reports indicate violent crime has begun to increase recently. The town of Chicago has crafted a strategy to deal with gun-related crime that is a significant case of life imitating art.

I have two possible buyers for a home the owner said I should call the broker and also left there cell for me . Is it better to contact the broker about working out a deal or just call the owner and talk to them ?

Its going to be a great day as my brothers and I will be meeting with a couple of investors and attending another investor meeting.

Can anyone out there help us with this question?
We ran a ghost ad that said 3bed, 2bth SFR. When this person called I explained that deal was gone as they don't last long. When I tried to screen this person he said he was a cash investor and wanted to know what kind of deal that home was and the profit made on it. He asked me to e-mail the info to see what we had done.

We are new and we do not want to misrepresent yourself in any way. We ran the ghost ad to attract investors.

Does anyone have any advice for us.

As you commented on We have been overwhelmed with family issues the last four months. That is all behind us now for the most part. We are very excited as we doing this harder and better than before. We have attended several investors meetings and will meet with 2 investors this week. Also getting calls on our ghost ads. We are so excited to get back in the game with more energy and commitment. Looking forward to closing that first deal this month God willing..

I've been finding great deals everywhere for the last few days. Haven't got a buyer's list or the books yet, but this gives me so much hope for when I can start moving on them. I've found a couple of real estate clubs in my area, but it looks like I'm going to have to go to Indianapolis to find the ones with the big money. Don't know if I'll go soon or wait till I've got a good start. Bet I could learn a lot in Indy, but it's a three hour drive from here, so I don't really want to go until I at least know the right questions to ask. I am starting to put up a few ads for bird dogging, got one on this site actually. Guess I'll see how it works!
