I am a 19 year old beginning in my investment career and my dad,the person that paid for me to get in the success academy is saying NO ONE will give you over 1000 for assigning them a property and that if I just stick with my job I have now (which I despise) I would make more than I would doing this. I am not well versed in this enough to explain how I know this would work. Someone please give a word of encouragement

I have put out my bandit signs again and this there wasn't any respnse. I am going thru the listings of preforclosures and forclosures and making a route up for me to place the signs. I go out with my signs and place them where ever there will be slowing traffic but never right at a traffic light.. I am getting my fliers out as wellwith no responses. But I am not taking it to heart. Every day I am getting clser to my first deal.

I have been reading "30 Days to Real Estate Cash" and going through the first 5 days homework. I really like this book so far because Dean is taking me through baby steps that I CAN do. I've already created a new email, started on my list of investors from people I know with money, filled out a form for Bill O'Rafferty to call and set up an appointment, found a free CRM, etc...

I'm very excited and on a roll!

My computer has been down so I haven't been to this site as much as I would like. Started PMI. I have 2 greats in my immediate inner circle taking the classes with me. And in a rush to get a deal under contract.

My name is Kim and I am a 40 year old wife and mother of 2 boys ages 11 and 12. I have been teaching since 1994 and was laid off in 2009. My husband is disabled and unable to work. He is in the process of filing for disability. So, right now, we are living on my unemployment and coupons! Yes, I said it - I am a coupon junky. However, it's out of necessity, not just because I want to and no, I don't have a million packages of paper towels in my garage:)

I am writing this more as a way to keep record of my situation now and hope to look back at it in a year and say, "Wow! We really did it!"

My goals:
1) do atleast 1 thing each day to work towards a deal
2) NEVER go back to a job!
3) Have our debts paid off in 1 year
4) be a stay home mom with a work from home job
