Keeping your eyes on the prize

I know your life can seem as if it were a hive of angry bees or a swarm of gnats buzzing around. So many of us are inundated with activity that it’s hard to focus. Well, focus is something we have to do. We need to cut through all the stuff that crowds our lives. Kids are these amazing creatures. They have a way of seeing things in their most simple form. Have you ever been bombard by a barrage of “Whys”? They keep asking until you get to the real reason why you do what you do. It’s an excellent activity.

Dean’s blog on what’s important (blog #181) illustrates this point. When you break it down like that sometimes you find that some things don’t really matter. Allowing you to focus your activities and thoughts on what is important.

Yeah baby!!!Guy just called wanting to invest 500k. Commercial property. Finding a whole new market too. Put signs out with my girls and I think I'm filling an underserved niche market. BANDIT BABY BANDIT!!!!! 12 calls in mere hours. This site is friggin' awesome. Its working. I just have to stay focused on my next right move. REO's, call the bank, get contact info., get listing of properties, bid.

p.s. In this site like nonstop. Dean talked about puzzle pieces. Like those who know me know.

I am so grateful for this path others can duplicate.
Its the only reason why I'm blogging. And Rina blogged to do so. Want to be the best. I'm so not the type to journal.

3. Get listing of their REO's

4. Match properties with buyers

5. submit bids

Getting Serious

Well, I'm trying out this 30 days to Real Estate Cash book. I hope it works. I need the money. I believe in goals. I lost 20.3 pounds in 4 weeks when I put my mind to it, so I'm hoping I can do the same when it comes to increasing my income. I've even found a non profit organization that I would love to support if I'm successful. I'm hoping to earn at least $5,000 by June 30, 2012. Today is May 26, 2012. I would love to create this cash sooner if possible. I have a couple of buyers already, but now I have to learn how to find sellers and get the deals tied up. Kind of doing this solo. Can't afford the success academy, but I'm determined to make this happen.

I started e-mailing the investor groups in my area late last night. I wanted to put bandit signs out but I'm limitted to yellow paper for now. Enjoying the process. I found a friend that understands me and talk about this non-stop. Even gave him this website address. Hi John!! Have a few other acquaintances that I practice sounding like I know what I'm doing. I basically breathe real estate. Even in my other responsibilities. I even convinced my supervisor that looking for rei relates. She loved it!!

Today I will put bandit signs up.

Today I will contact more rei groups

Today I will listen to jjensen audio again and again forcing more info. into my head.

Ok, it's like this........

I have a friend who has got a manufactured home here in Salem. It's a five bedroom and two bathroom. He just wants to get rid of his mortgage payment and him and his wife just want to get out and do the retired stuff like traveling and being with grandkids and stuff. I'm going to have him sign the contract over in my name and put the home up for rent, section 8 housing okay. I figure if I do this I can get a renter in there in less than two weeks and have money in pocket. It's what I want to do. I want to buy homes for section 8 renters and take care of families who have children. I figure it's a good idea and maybe get some use out of a manufactured home! Smiling I was also wondering if there is anyone out there who is also from Oregon?
