I have a friend who worked with me for about 15 years. About 12 years ago, he became unable to work. He and his wife both have multiple sclorosis, and the desease has them both bed ridden now. They have a son who is now helping to take care of them, but is too young to be able to support them financially.

When my friend stopped being able to work due to his illness (hes currently unable to move anything but his neck and face by himself, but still searches the web with an adapter for his mouth), I started helping by paying a portion of his rental, since the disability and state support wasn't enough to have a place for his family to stay.

I know, I have been bad about blogging lately. I've been doing so much non RE stuff as well as RE stuff that it's been hard to stop long enough to update everyone. I would fill you all in but if you read my previous inputs, it's been more of the same.

I'll have to leave it there for now as it's late and I need to sleep. I was in the car to Miami again yesterday and didn't return until about 2 am today. I'm tired!!!!

Feb. 8th attended free seminar in SC. Bought in on the 3 day workshop to be held on Feb. 16, 17, 18. Can't wait to attend. In the meanwhile, husband and came across 2 reo that we made cash offers on. Will close on a 2 bedroom, 1 bath next week and a 2 bed 1 bath duplex the end of month. Will be keeping both as rentals. With these 2 deals we will be getting the cost of the workshop refunded to us since both will have positive cash flow.

We are running out of cash so hope we will learn creative ways to get more cash to do more great deals.

I'm totally new here.. I love this website it is jam packed and overflowing with great people, mentors and knowledge.

I'm just going to say ... WOW! I am not going to focus on the fact that I wish I had this book sooner ... I am just going to be grateful that I have it now.

So far I have read so much information & my book looks like it went thru the war with post its sticking out all over the place.. LOL.

I just started on Chapter 6... The perfect RE agent = huge profits... Okay so I'm going to jump into this chapter and most likely the next few ... I can't put this book down!!

Goal setting is on of the most important things we can do as we move on the path of success. If we are to find success and fulfillment we will need to set goals in order to get where we want to be.

Daily I see students that have goals move towards there destinations hppier and more confident. These are usually people that know what they want and go about getting it. They ask questions and take advantage of opportunities that are presented to them. They overcome propems and obstacles.

On the other hand, there are individuals who always have an excuse as to why something can't be done. They are too busy. They work too much. They have no money. They are not smart enough.
