If you are just starting and got Dean's book, 30 Days to Real Estate Cash

I am just starting out and working with Dean's 30 days to Real Estate Cash.
I getting ready to do a 60 day Treasure Hunt from page 22 starting with the video blogs and the video's Dean recommend in the book has home work assignments then follow up with Matt..Interested in Joining the treasure hunt and doing the assigments everyday on your time as long as you get it done? You can also make recommendations as long as we are following Dean's instructions.
Starting now I am leaving no stones on turned until I get to the end of this book with all assignments completed. So if you are ready for the challenge, join me.

Real Estate Agent Investor Partnership

How is possible for both to make a profit on say an assignment? If agent is representing a fsbo or reo how do you both make a profit? Is it something you work out ahead of time?

Major mold issues

Here is the story. We know of a house on Probate not listed anywere yet. It is a very new probate proerty. My husband and i know the person that lived in the house and the children too. We would like to make an offer on this supposidely nice house. There is no mortgate on the property now so we can probaly get it for a real steel.

Busy, Busy, Busy, day today.
Started out with a call to look at the house from yesterday. I wound up spending about 3 hours with my "bird dog" finally talking face to face and getting a lot of info by just mentioning a subject and letting him talk. It turned out that we had a lot in common which I'm sure will help solidify our working together. I even agreed to let him take the lion's share of the proceeds in exchange for him doing the lion's share of the work. He agreed.
Came back and sent an offer on another property which I was given by my PSL co-member. I'm waiting for the seller's response.

I know it's been a few days since I posted so I'll try to catch you all up.

Spent 12/15 & 12/16 busting hump and getting my order done. Spent little time on the 'puter but did manage to read a few posts and answered my mail and PMs.
The house we got under contract turned out to be a dud but in the interum, the buyer put in a bid on another house we offered. I guess there are no slam dunks until you get up from the closing table!
(Note to self: Slam dunks are for basketball not RE investing. Stop using that term!!!)

Still trying

After giving offer after offer we have had numerous houses sold out from under us. I have made lists of houses to go see and had only one or two left on the list by the time we are able to look at them two days later. And all in a VERY SLOW market where houses are not selling! Since this has happened over and over again, my husband is convinced I know what I am doing now and so is sending me to real estate school. We do have an offer on a house and we will see how this one goes! Will let you know what God does next. We know it will be wonderful!
