Here we go!!!

It looks like there's a lot of great information on the site and I'm excited to learn. I'm new to the role of the real estate investor but not to the real estate industry. I had my own mortgage company for years, so have in-depth knowledge on the financing side. I did get off to a "bad" start, trusting some of the wrong people to direct me in my real estate purchases. I guess there are those kind of people everywhere, right? That being said, I am looking forward to gaining a positive experience here and "meeting" some people that can and are willing to help me. I will always return the favor.

Hi everybody! Does anyone in NYC deals with a title company that offers low rates and a law firm that gets their percentage after the closing? Thank you.

I have a Private Money Lender who won't lend in my primary market, but will fund a flip in a new market I'm looking at. I have a market that "doesn't have" cash-out banks, but I now have a bank that I know will do it in that (or any) market.

30 Day to Real Estate CASH

I decided yesterday that I needed cash weeks ago. So I am taking the leap an following Dean's step in the "Days to Real Estate Cash." I am working on days 1 thru 5 and I am looking forward to going a step further until I get to the end and I have made my first deal.

I don't have a lot of confidence in what I am doing, but I am sure that if I follow the steps in this book, I will make my first deal within 60 days.

Great Info from Edge Online Replay

I just want to complement Dean and all of the speakers at the Edge 2014. I was supposed to be there live, but had some family scheduling issues, so I have watched the online replay. It is great! Matt scared me to death when he said don't do rentals until you have a $100,000 in the bank--I've done 5 deals since January and 12 in the past year, all buy and holds for renatl income! On the flip side, Matt's tips about calling credit unions for unsecured lines of credit has been so helpful. I have $50,000 in unsecured credit in the past 5 days--goodbye hard money lenders!! Thanks again for the great education and encouragement.
