Other Real Estate Experts Products

As you guys can imagine our office is flooded weekly with other Real Estate Experts emails and/or products that show up that they want us to offer to you. The truth is we decided years ago that we simply would not do it.. But recently some of the products coming through are really, really good and do different parts of real estate, or offer programs that we do not. So as a team we are thinking that if we screen the real estate expert and the product thoroughly and it passes our strict guidelines we would make it available to you... Love to have your thoughts on this...

don't do it

I believe you guys have the best thing, becuase it does show that you really want to see us succeed. I mean you guys don't think about profit first, you think about the people. I believe that these other products won't do the same. So please don't open a window for controversy from other products.

Dean's Course Get's You Started On The Right Path!

Flip_Kid's picture

Dean's books and materials are above and beyond anything any other guru offers for those who are just starting out in real estate. I started with Dean's material and than was able to branch out into other things. There are definitely some great products out there. For instance there is some material that gets more in-depth on short sales and how to flip REO's that can help you. There are programs like freedom$oft and other transactional and hard money lending.

I think Dean should publicly review these products for the sake of maybe saving some of his students a lot of wasted time and money, and to keep us on the right path. I think doing anything more than just giving reviews is probably too much. Those starting out with Dean's material have all they need to know to get started and will eventually start getting introduced to other things as they gain more experience. Dean's material has opened up a whole new world for me and lead me on a path where I am constantly coming across other great material through REI clubs, other investors, etc. The main problem with that for a beginner is they can get information overload (which I just overcame), so don't try and become an expert at everything without doing anything.

I will not mention names of other guru's out there that I think are good, but there definitely is some other great material out there. It is usually in a very direct specific niche of investing like short sales, probates, REO's, etc. It isn't something you will see on TV, but through word of mouth and browsing around the internet. All in all, Dean's material is the best for beginners, and surpasses all with his no money down strategies! The way he teaches the material and motivates people is above and beyond any other guru. Even if I become successful with another guru's material, I will always know it was Dean's books and programs that got me to where I am.

Cheerleaders...

CAM's picture

This has also come to mind that I'd like to post about and NEEDS to be said if not already. The big problem I've found with most other guru's is that their programs are mostly "cheerleader status" and nothing more. They get you all hyped up on all this money you're going to make then do nothing but brow beat you into charging all these thousands of dollars to your card for all these "middle man" programs that do nothing but get you even more lost then before. They're mostly "sales men" and nothing more, after all why share hard earned secrets when you can make a maze of "filler info" and keep people running in circles spending pay check after pay check on their various courses.

In my opinion, you offer a more personal interest in helping others make their dreams come true. When I listen to you,you explain your motivation and your life how it was growing up and many of us like myself can identify with you. You talk sincerelt and honestly about changing lives, my life. You get personal with your clients and that is a good thing. Everyone does not have that talent or gift. No I like learning from you and your people who you taught. I am a new client and have not sold anything but am anxious about learning how to buy, sell, etc, and create a wealth for me and my family.

I think any new ideas would be welcome. We can all learn from each other. We know we can count on Dean to weed out the good from the bad and the ugly. Let's go for it Dean!

Of course. I think it nieve of us to think that the wheel has been recreated here. Knowledge is the key to success. I don't want to be spammed but I do want to succeed and have all the latest tools cretiqued and and would like to know what you think.

I trust DG and his team to give their professional opinion on other products out there. I feel Dean knows this could hurt his reputation if he endorsed a product or products that did not live up to his company standards. I see no harm in Dean and his team to test other products that could help everyone of us in our pursuit of financial success.

Dean

Dean my dad never believed in anything new or improved and I tend to follow suite. It took my wife to convince me to go to your e.d.g.e program, so we believe that what ever you do, you will make sure it is the real thing.

I trust you!

I trust you and your team of experts and I know that anything that you recommend to us will be the same quality as your own products. I am constantly reading real estate books on lease options, landlording, etc. and would like to have your input on which products will enhance your teachings without contradicting them. I also hate to waste my hard earned money on anything that is not up to your standards. I feel that if you and your team say that a product is the real deal and that I can add to my real estate knowledge, then it will be worth my time and money.

New products

I would love to try new products as long as they will work for everyone. I signed up for Foreclosurealert.com and it came up that there was no information for my search area. I knew this was incorrect as I had been on other sites and viewed plenty listings.

other real estate products

Dean, I've tried many other real estate courses in the past, and have been burnt! You tell everyone to check your ratings with the BBB, and thats because you have a proven track record. This site is so popular for one reason, YOU! All the other so called guru's want to cash in on your popularity, let them try to provide ther own website, so if other's see them as trustworthy, or like what there providing, then rei student's can chose for themselves. You provide this site for one reason, YOUR THE BEST! don't compromise!

Any one know who is Russ Whitney JR?

Info. from others

I have bought other courses in the past and actually attended a very expensive class once!
Halfway through it I acutualy wondered if it was all really worth it. I am not spending any more $ on more courses. I agree though that a discussion forum might help, because others have done the same as I. It might help those who are of the mind that "the grass is greener on the other side". I also bought the 'Sheets' course a long time ago. Your's seems to be slightly more detailed though I do not see a need to work with Realtors.

$1,000 in Day's Just for My Signature!

Anointed1's picture

I got a call from a couple on 25 March who found me on the internet wanting to sell a piece of property they inherited from the husbands deceased father. We met a couple day's later at the property and agreed on a price. A price I really knew was too much to offer but I took my chances. On April 11th we had a signed contract. We agreed to close on or before May 11th.

I begin to market the property immediately on my website to include craigslist. I received a call from another investor, "a Cash Buyer I might add", who saw what he believed to be my ad at a price I knew not of. Nevertheless, we agreed to meet at the property on May 2nd inwhich we contracted the same day. We are scheduled to close on May 6th at a price that the investor was willing to pay eventhough he understood he was perhaps paying more than he should or could based on comparable sells in the area. In fact, I received a call from the buyer's title company on May 4th asking me to show up at the closing to receive my check.

Now do you think I have a problem with that? I don't think so! I just politely asked her to make it out to my business as opposed to me personally.

Because I understood the price was a bit high I didn't want to be Greedy. Besides, $1,000 just for my signature right at 25 days after signing the contract is not at all bad, and everyone is Happy!

This investor who is buying everything he can get his hands on has ask me to give him first dibbs on every deal I come across. "Not A Problem!" On top of that, the seller's has asked me to buy two other properties they are planning to sell in just a few weeks. "I Can Do That!"

Hope this encourages someone to just do what you can and see what happens. I've been making money in this business for 16 yrs while making mistakes.

Just Do It!
