One of my heroes is Than Merrill. Than played in the NFL and he sustained a severe knee injury that ended his career. He was laying in his hospital bed reading books about real estate investing. He now owns CT Homes and Fortunebuilders. He could have just felt sorry for the situation and given up. My DAD has always been my greatest hero, there are to many reasons. As a little boy DAD would talk about everythying I would ever have to know about being in business and can't really say that I knew what he was talking about, but some of it stuck and has given me the insentive to be just like him he retired at the age of forty five and took us all on vacation to Europe for two years. My hero is my Beautiful Mom. She is so special that everyone that knows her will be inspire and thank full to be alive. she will make a change in you/their lives in one way or another from the inside out. She is full of love, Positive Ideas, Pease, and attention to whom ever talks to her.

I am thankful to be her daughter.

It seems that every year there are a whole lot of people that over-extend themselves financially and for some it is the final straw. Let's be on the look out for those who will wake up in January and realize that those Christmas gifts they just bought on credit and now can't pay for will suddenly cost them everything, including
their home. We can be there to help by making them an offer on their home, helping them get into a rental and perhaps keeping them from bankruptcy.
With the help others mind set, we can make a big difference in this world.

My Hero is my mother, a great role model. She will not be making any more real estate investing deals, as she is no longer living. My husband and I still live at the property of her last investment deal that we did together. She "GOT IT" that real estate is the way to build wealth. She just did not live long enough to attain her dream. Mom taught me to chase butterflys and rainbows. Even today, I am running around chasing the world's eluding beauty in real estate investing.

My Hero is a man by the name of Marion Bradham. He started the Piggly Wiggly, grocery store chain. He knew me ever since I was born. I learned a lot from him, but I never went into the grocery store business. I did learn about the value of a dollar from him though. Mr. Bradham from the time I first remember never took a rest. He loved his family but was always looking for a deal. I remember when he got into the real estate business. He started buying up dilapidated old houses in Charleston. A number of them are serious historic homes now, and people pay to visit them.

Mr. Bradham passed away in the 80’s and his family has since taken over his businesses. Dean now I look to you and Matt Lawson for your accomplishments, and I will duplicate what you do in order to accomplish my dreams.

I will enjoy my family and friends this holiday season, but I will find a way to build my business. If it is God's will, then I will pursue my dreams. The New Year will bring the blessing to us all.

I am on my way to a doctor's appointment with my wife and can't do justice to a response right now but I needed to acknowledge your latest plan to assist others in reaching their goals and achieving the wealth they desire and most definitely deserve. Once again, you have devised a plan whereby the many people who have been unable to buy the sales aids they would like will now have an opportunity to purchase something else, be it a book or something more. the seeds that i want to start planting is the seed of sucess. sucess for weight loss, sucess in real estate investing, and sucess in life. I want to have the power to get what i want without disturbing the rights of others. My heroes are Stone Cold Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, Bj Penn, and Dean Graziosi. Seriously, all of these men have played a huge part of how my thought process developed. and one more person, huo yang gya (fearless) its just amazing not knowing how much potential is in our own selves. we look for all these things that we can improve when the most important thing is ourself. Thank you Dean for answering questions that I had but never voiced. There is something more than working at a dead end job with 15 cents raises every year! there is a better life to be had. Thank you so much for real!

Been down and out for the last few weeks..but I am here now, just watched your blog and I already feel much better. Thank you for making that type of impact on me. My beautiful and sweet MOTHER is my HERO. She survived cancer 3 different times in her lifetime, but last christmas eve 12/24/2009 cancer took her away from us. My MOM Elizabeth was an amazing woman.
She had so much passion for life. She provided us with everything we needed and much more, with such limited means, limited education, limited funds, but somehow she found a way to always better herself and her family. She dedicated her life to care and help so many people outside her inner circle, most of them strangers. She had a away to touch so many peoples hearts. Her heart was of gold. SHe believed in compassion, generousity, and Hope!! She indured so much diffeculties and obstacles, but never waivered, always thinking and planning ahead, and coming up with ideas turning into goals to be accomplished and did whatever it took to reach them. She never showed fear or insecurites in any of her endevoures, she just went
head on with much determination and positive attitude.
She was a woman of many talents and skills, she was
Bussiness minded, she believed that Real Esate investing was very smart thing to do. she believed in saving accounts, it always surprised me how she managed to always put some money away for rainy days, which did come in handy many times.
She was a woman of integrity, humulity and honesty, full of such class in simple of ways. I am speaking of my Mother but that is not why I say these things, I say it because she truly was an amazing person!! I am so fortunate to have her as my MOM and my role model.I can only hope to be as a wonderful human being as her and strive to make her proud. The world was a little better with her in it. Shes missed by so many people, shes unforgetable and what she left behind will be carried thru by her children, grandchilden and everyone she touched. IT IS MY HONOR TO CALL MY MOM ELIZABETH MY HERO.

I spoke of my MOM as my HERO on my last blog;
But, I want to let you know that, YOU are a HERO to me as well;
in the way of giving me insperation, hope, and determination.
YOU DEAN, touch alot of people in ways you probably dont realize.
I respect the fact of your humble upbringings..which makes you
GET IT!! You get how it is. I appreciate your success and who you
are as a human being. That is what I am talking about. You show
humanity in your demeanor which makes alot of people comfortable.
Therefor many people have been touched by YOU, somehow, somewhere
It isn't the real estate business i speak of, it is the unspoken,
that touches and changes peoples lives..The connection, the honesty
the 'realness' of it all.

HI DEAN, HOPE ALL IS WELL

I MENTIONED BEFORE THAT I GOT TRAINED BY MATT ON 10/27/2010. HE TRULY OPENED MY EYES, IM WORKING MY BUTT OF MAKING SURE I DO EVERYTHING HE SHOWED ME. WE TALKED ABOUT GOALS AND ONE OF MY GOALS WAS TO CLOSE ON A DEAL BEFORE DECEMBER. I PUT POST IT NOTES IN MY BATHROOM AND PLACES I CAN SEE AND READ IT EVERYDAY. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? I GOT MY FIRST DEAL ON NOVEMBER 29, LOL TALK ABOUT CUTTING IT CLOSE. TODAY IS DECEMBER 7 AND I FOUND THE BUYER TODAY AND IT'S LOCKED UP AND READY TO CLOSE. IM MAKING 10,000 ON MY FIRST DEAL.THESE LAST DAYS I HAVE HEARD NOTHING BUT NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT OTHER INVESTORS THAT WENT TO SEE MY DEAL. I CAN'T ASSIGN BECAUSE THE BUYER IS USING FINANCE, I CAN'T DOUBLE CLOSE BECAUSE NO ONE DOES THAT. I CAN SEE NOW HOW PEOPLE CAN GET INFLUENCED SO EASILY AND GIVE UP. I JUST CALLED THE ADVISOR LINE AND THEY WALKED ME THROUGH THE DEAL. IM GETTING MY 10,000 FROM THE SELLER AS A FINDERS FEE FOR BRINGING THE BUYER. MATT LARSON, DEAN GRAZIOSI AND THE COACHES IN THE ADVISORY LINE ARE MY HEROES

Well let's start with the seeds and I know Dean is coming to jackson ms. very soon and I will be there. I've been studying real estate full throttle again and my goals are to be ready for 2011 before it's actually here. Trying to make all my decisions and put my team together where we all benifit from taking action. Those are my goals and I want success. Dean you are top of my hero list because you do motivate me and all the help you offer in so many ways keeps me motivated. Can't tell you how much I appreciate this. You got me actually believing that I can do this. Thankful for all the DG family and those that became successful and share there knowlege and started where I am now. I hope and pray to do the same. I have read all of comments from everyone. It is just nice to feel all of the love, companionship,respect everyone has for one another. When we think we have it bad just lisen to others who are having or had it worse then we do. And we all learn to survive. There is a saying and I hope I get it correctly (what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger). I love each and everyone for being my family and my commucation. I have learned so much. I trying to make a new life for myself and it's not easy. I am getting all my ducks in a row and by January 1st I am going to be off and running and making my GOLDS......... ITS JUST A FEW WEEKS LEFT. Sorry the Holidays are hard. Thanks Dean for that encouraging information regarding the Holidays....I know I am not speaking alone when I say I do not know how many times I have had some New Years Resolutions and they have never been implemented for some reason or another!!! I Think the for someone like me that has never done a deal before the seed im planting is edcuation and knowledge. I have never been much of a reader but im getting better all the time. When i think about where i want to be all i want to do is read more and more, and gain more knowledge on REI. As far as my heros go i would say my 2 kids, because i want the best for them they are the ones that inspire me to do better. I want them to have a life that i never had growing up.

I thought I was getting "The Edge" (over the competition) by staying busy with Real Estate in December. Now you have told everybody my secret. Well, I guess there is nothing like sharing during the Holidays.
