My hero

My hero is my husband even though we are homeless right now he works so hard to take care of me,he never stops to think about himself and if there was any way i could get this investing going i would give back to him. And my other hero God if i could make a Christmas wish it would be to please let us get a home of our own and help me get started as a investor.

Dean,

Indiana-Joe's picture

Thanks for doing another weekly blog for all of us. I finally got my internet back up after being down for 5 days so I am catching up on all the great information and posts. As we go through life we often have heroes that can be an inspiration. When we are young it may be athletes we admire like Walter Payton. As we get older we realize there are heroes all around us like teachers, police, fire fighters, volunteers and even our friends, parents or relatives. Dean, you continue to help change people lives and put them on a path they could only dream about. Thank you for all you do.

In life we sometimes do not appreciate others until they are gone. This is a great wakeup call to tell someone that helped changed your life or someone that has been there for you, thank you.

I can't wait to do more Christmas Shopping this Friday for "Slack Friday". Can't wait to check out those one day deals on DG.COM. It will be great to give the gift of education. We wish you continued success in all you do. Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe

MERRY CHRISTMAS DEAN AND FAMILY

During this holiday period I'm putting together an amazing deal. No time to rest for the wicked. First my hero is Jesus Christ. I'm also my own hero. I really like what I see about myself and what I'm doing. Eight years ago I was flattened by the death of my husband of 31 years and today I'm unstoppable!
And Dean I have made a lot of mistakes and in so doing overcoming my fear of them. As soon as this deal closes, and I have money, I'm going to sign on to your academy. They want no part of me until I can pay them. I know I tried for a whole week, got mad and created the deal I'm now involved in. LOL
Think I'll cry all the way to the bank.
Thank you so very much!

Happy Holidays

Thanks Dean for the continued words of encouragement. My holiday situation this year won't include any material gifts, but that does not matter to me. This season is actually one of the best that I can remember. You and your team have provided me with the tools and knowledge to pursue something I am very passionate about. That sense of direction and purpose are worth more than anything that can be placed under a Christmas tree. I would like to thank you and all of the DG family for the gift of hope. May you all have a wonderful holiday season.

Sincerely,

Shawn

Thank you UNCLE DEAN

This is great, looking foward to slack friday

This is a great Blog Dean,

This is a great Blog Dean, because your right...It takes nothing to get knocked off track and then by the time you get back on, your biting the dust in the wake of everyone else who in front of you.
I realize I am knowhere near, where I wanna be in life. But those changes just dont happen on their own. Sometimes you've gotta start over and keep driving until you get where you want to go. Who was it who once said ? " Knowbody just, lucks out in Real Estate."

Recovering from a job place accident I had 3 years ago, has been taken every bit of drive , determination and not to mention, most of my time and energy. But if lifes lessons had taught me anything its this, what things in life get done are, those things that are actually a matter of habit.
And as far as my Childhood hollywood hero rags to riches success story would have to go to Singer Comdedian Entertainer and Master of ceremony himself, Mr.Dean Martin.
When ever I need inspiration, I think about that son of a Barber from Stubinville Ohio, who got into the habit of marching to the beat of a different drum, which is what made his wealth and success possible.
But it all starts with a dream, and getting yourself into the habit of doing something eveeryday to move you closer to that goal.
Dont wait, start now...

my hero's...

You know..I've been on this mission since march of this year when I first got on welfare to make something happen w/ REI..I can't wait til these 3 shortsales finally close. I'm gonna put it all on video for people to see and know what it took w/ my circumstances to make this all happen. I can't express the amount of energy it has taken and all the different emotions that played along. Literally, from having to cut ties w/ family and friends because of all the "nay-saying" and uncooperativeness. I've had to do this all w/ complete strangers. All I know is that this is my last holiday season being broke/poor. As the time comes I'm gonna build momentum and just compound this realestate thing and blow it out the water. I thank you very much Dean for being a "true" force of inspiration.. I know my story will make you very proud one day. Greatest days to all..

Dean, my heros are my Grandparents. These two Beautiful individuals taught me everything I know to date. Commonsense, trust, respect, love, dedication, honor and communication. Even the things I didn't think I understood then, I now know is True too. In this life Dean, I just want to do something I can enjoy helping people with. Becoming educated. Something I can feel satisfaction from once completed. Ofcourse I want to make money too but, to help is my main focus. I want to learn what is necessary so that I can help people. My Grandparents gave me this focus and understanding years ago. Somewhere along the way I had lost sight of these Truths. Thanks to you Dean, I'm focused again. Better that ever. Talk about the Right Stuff. You're doing it man and, please don't stop. Thanks Dean. Dirk

This is always Great.

I can't wait to see what you have in store for us. Thanks again, Dean. I believe "Slacker Friday" will be a "HIT" as the Entire program is. Looking forward, Dirk

Heroes and Holidays

Arrowstar's picture

We wish you and your family a wonderful holiday. I am looking forward to seeing my college student children for a little bit! Family is what it's all about. I wish all of you in the Dean RE Family a wonderful holiday and a very successful 2011! I look forward to seeing the deals on Slacker Friday, too! My hero is Gandhi, who changed the world without a single bullet. He set a course and never wavered. He taught me the value of persistence in the face of adversity. We give up too easily! Thanks to you and your staff for all you are doing to support us in our dreams.

Happy Holidays and heroes

hi Dean,
Thank you again for some great ideas. Keeping up the momentum, Looking forward, and planting the seeds now, I'll kick off the new year running.
My heroes are God, Jesus, the heroes in the Bible, my grandparents and parents who lived through the great depression, my brothers and sisters, my husband, my children, our millitary personnel and their families, the firemen, paramedics, policemen, our religeous leaders, good honest politicians, teachers, you (Dean),and all your coaches and staff, and all the everyday ordinary people who take the time to stop and help others. There are so many things to be thankful for, even when we are down on our luck. Thank you for all you and your staff do for all of us, Dean, and I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas, and Holiday Season. Best wishes always.
Kathy

Happy Holidays to you and your staff

menendezc's picture

I wanted to make sure that you and your staff realize what beacon of hope you are for myself and many others. I haven't done a no money deal yet, but I know it will happen. Thanks for all that you do, God Bless and Happy Holidays to all.

Plant the seed and it will grow

Plant the seed today and it will grow tomarrow, I see that and how it works, let everyone else take time off. I'm working and playing all in moderation.
All my life I was around my HERO....my Dad he tought me so many things about Life and the Love of a good man( my husband Frank). He thought me that anything you want in life you can have but you have to work for it, because no one is going to had it to you.
Christmas was his favorite time of year, he would bake with all of us kids, and Christmas morning waking up to fresh snow, it just didn't get any better.
When he passed away 3 days before Christmas (27years ago)a part of me died too, for a long time. I now see what he ment you have to work for it no one going to had it to you and that is what I plan on doing.

Thanks and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU ALL
Nancy

Back on Track

I have been really knocked off track with passing relatives and attempting to keep my siblings out of trouble. Thanks for the message. I have the SFL System and I joined the success academy. It has been very tough to stay focused will no real response from buyers in my area. I will start fresh and restart this thing again and get back on track. My hero at this point is myself, because I am still helping others before myself.

Thanks

Great Idea!

Great messages

Kevin A Goldman's picture

Hey Dean and DG Fam,

Planting seeds and figuring out who are your heroes are great ways to give yourself direction. I know choosing my heroes will be very challenging for me because I read the e-mail saying come see this blog where Dean talks about you choosing your heroes and I thought, naturally, who are my heroes? That was an hour ago and I still can't answer that question.

I have some things in the works for this holiday season and am starting to put them into action so I can't wait for the amazing results I will get. I feel like I have a head start on planting the seeds. My heroes, I will have to work on that.

And it may not have been you intent, but I the people at the heart of some of your best-known success stories, including yourself, Dean, are heroes to me. Thanks for everything!

Sincerely,
Kevin A Goldman

My hero is my Dad. He was dedicated, hard working and a friend to everyone. I will feel that I was a success in life, if I am remembered to be just like my Dad.

Thanks for another great blog.As for my hero, You are my hero Dean. THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU. Happy holidays to everyone. I love you all.

JUST getting started... Nervous Nellie

Hi the subject covers it all...
But I was a serious commercial RE investor
back in the 80's early 90's and lost it all. Since then moved to the USA and became amongst other educations, an RE agent. I have helped make some people seriously rich. Had many family trials and tribulations, but have a GREAT family. Now is the time, I MUST make me seriously rich again. Lots of desirable luxury
homes around where I live and the prices are amazingly steady. BUT there are a few
"bargains" coming on the market. I need an active partner for some potential "short sales"
to kick off, any ideas?
Patricia

heroes

Dean I read your blog on heroes I could say that I have read many books on real estate and so far it seems like you are the only person that is really on top of things so I think I would be able to call you a hero or at least a great inspiration. I live in Boise and have a great deal of a problem getting started. (scared I guess) I just do not know how to proceed on getting started. I will read your books and hopefully I will feel brave enough to do something. thanks and keep up the great work.

Thanks Dean!

Love all your videos in my email and the motivation is like no other I've ever read or listened to so I'd have to say you are really my hero and those in the DG family also because I learn so much just reading the many success stories they tell and the deals made.
You inspire me so much I want to leave and get started on them as soon as possible but I need to keep reading more of your other books you have out and the online one (bonus DVD free) sounds so exciting to try it that way for me first, as I have no personal transpertation of my own. So starting out this way for me would be ideal. I have been taking down a lot of notes about a buyer's list, investor's clubs, Real Estate agents, and other key figures you mention one would need when considering all the different properties out there. I have copied all the legal papers I'd ever need from your site and I appreciate all this from you and your wonderful staff and the DG family members alike.

Thanks for your continued belief in me Dean!

Linda

Thanks

Thanks for your encouraging blogs. I have a lot of negative things going on around me, and it is difficult for me to stay focused. I am a Christian and love Jesus. He is the perfect one, but the most misunderstood teacher that ever lived. He taught us to give and to forgive. He said if someone steals you coat give them your overcoat to go with it. He said if someone slaps you on the right cheek, turn the other cheek and let them slap that one too. Many of us admire Jesus, but as hard as we try we cannot truly follow Him. I know you can identify with that, because when you are successful at what you do, there is always someone who would like to tear you playhouse down. Thanks for always being positive and encouraging. We need it.

Staying Optomistic

Hello Dean, I'm not even sure this message will find you, but I felt the need to write you regardless. You are truly inspiring. I have always had a desire to get into real-estate and have been trying to educate myself as much as possible since I've gotten out the military; but due to not having the best credit, I felt I could never aquire the kind of money to really get involved. I have always had an entrepreneurial mind-set and felt the only true way to financial freedom was becoming my own boss. After years of being caught up in the rat race it hit me; I was never going to achieve that dream of wealth. I don't necessarily believe wealth comes in the form of just money; but it definitely is a part of it. A part of it that I have yet to achieve. However; after looking (or rather praying ) for a sign as to a direction to take in my life I ran across your commercial. Again. The first time I sensed something in how you were coming across that I had not before from other's and their commercials. But; due to having been burned in the past I was skeptical. Once I saw you the second time I new I had to take action. I have since, purchased your Profit from real-estate right now and be a real estate millionaire books and stay plugged into your web-site. Between your inspirational videos and encouraging words from the rest of the DG family I feel like I truly have a chance for the first time in my life of achieving my dreams for me and my family. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you! You are truly an inspiration and I look forward to telling you of my own successes as a result of you and your teams guidance very soon. God Bless!

Good blog.

not sure about heroes but, people I look up to, yes. we wish we could have the drive and stick to it attitude, like you or some of the inner circle
members. I appreciate your words about not slowing down during the holidays. I am working with a buyer here in L.A. and things are actually starting to look bright., I'm driving neighborhoods and bird dogging. Very much looking forward to my first paycheck from this work and definitely not slowing down just because the holidays are here.
Thanks again for the blog, it hit home.
