Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog #70 - Entitlement or Ownership...What Side Are You On?

In Dean’s latest blog, he takes on the tendency many people have of complaining or expecting that their problems and difficulties should be resolved by others.

It’s true, people are often in situations where they aren't treated as they would like to be, but it is done in such a way that they feel ashamed if they even suggest things are unfair. It can happen when you compromise yourself, be it through kindness or even desperation. You blindly believe people who promise you the world, then you wind up struggling
as you wait for some big “solution” or “reward” that never comes.

Often, you watch the very person or institution - succeed, profit personally, and even reward others to your exclusion. They may even claim all the credit for themselves. Politics and mammoth companies are not the only examples of this, it may be going on in your little family. So what do you do? As hard as it may be to hear Dean's message, you need to make a choice. Either you continue with your attitude of entitlement or take ownership for your life and your destiny. Watch and decide where YOU are now.

Thanks for posting another weekly blog video. I really enjoyerd this week's blog and message to create our own opportunities by taking action. I am very passionate over the American Dream. I believe it is the small business owners and entrpreneurs that are the backbone of this great country. These small business owners are providing opportunitites for a better tomorrow. It is so true, that people should not expect it to happen or have an entitlement belief they need to take action and make it happen. We wish you continued success and happiness in all you do! Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe

-------------- Long Live the American Dream! ------------------------

"Most new jobs won’t come from our biggest employers. They will come from our smallest. We’ve got to do everything we can to make entrepreneurial dreams a reality." ~ Ross Perot

“An entrepreneur assumes the risk and is dedicated and committed to the success of whatever he or she undertakes.” ~ Victor Kiam

"The good we secure for ourselves is precarious and uncertain until it is secured for all of us and incorporated into our common life." ~ Jane Addams

You Are So True, Dean

I look at it this way. There is no time to waste thinking about it you should get a raise. If you feel it, then ask for it and stop complaining. My time is very precious to me. I am on a mission to be debt free and financially stable. Who will do this for me, ONLY ME, and I am doing it. If I can every body else can. I have set goals and have seen them being accomplished daily. We have to take our lives into our hands and do what is necessary for progress and success. Thanks Dean for your TOUGH LOVE blog, we need that. God Bless.

Absolutely!

You are absolutely right Dean. If it is to happen, it's up to me! And what a great feeling that is to know that I am in the driver's seat and get to choose where I want to go, when I want to go there, with whomever I want to go.

Entrepreneurial Spirit

This weekly blog is on target, we need to do it for ourselves and not blame others or our circumstances. I'm reading the BARM and Your Town and I'm listening to Brian Tracy who says this is where we associate with those of a like mind, and we must always learn so our outlook changes as does the blaming. Dean I also have to thank you for your positive outlook and motivation, the DG Family also gets my thanks. I just purchased my business cards so I am on my way to taking action!!! Yehaw!!

Thanks again, Dean for another great Blog!
Freedom requires that you make choices. When you are free you make the choices in your life not anyone else.
I choose to take action and become financially free thru wise real estate investments with the EDGE.

Thank you for all the effort you put to help us grow and continue to pursuit our American Dream. God has put two great books by Trmp and Kiyosaki, and one by Joel Austin that emphasize the things you cover on this video. The growth that I have done because of your books and this website can't compare with any amount of money I could make. This foundation is going to help me acquire My Freedom. I've been slave to creditors and employers, including the military. The military released me after 21 years of service in 1994, but I have not experience any Freedom until now. Knowledge is Power, but its another part to that equation...Action.

Gobless you Dean and your family.

Yes your so right

Dean you said it best. I believe we are going to have to become entrepreneurs again to make our own destiny. Thank you for all you do to get us to that point.

I have a question. Since the SS is taking the foreclosure by storm now. Is there any training you could come up with to help us make that happen as investors? I really hate to go to a Realtor for this if it’s something we could do ourselves. Just another tool for our tool belt.

Thanks Dean,
God bless you.

Taking Control!

mbjoseph's picture

Yes, it's true. We all need to take control of our own lives. It's always good to hear it again and it just makes me believe once more, I am on the right path. I can do it, I can do it, I can do it!

Thanks again Dean for more words of inspiration. I am one of those people who has a lousy job and a mean hateful boss. I know that I will never have the life I want working there and for him. That is why I've been trying to make real estate my future. Coming here and listening to you and reading all the great post from all the members, lets me know that I'm on the right track.
Good luck to you and all the DG family members!!

I am taking Ownership!

You speak the truth Dean! A job no longer equals success. The best opportunity is to create something for yourself and your family! Then show other to do the same, isn't that a better plan!

ACTION!

Dean, great inspiration, wish I could afford the package though

Dean, you've been a great inspiration for me and I'm working hard to make things happen with real esatate. I've met a partner on the site to work with, and I have firm belief with Christ that I'm gonna make it happen in 2010 for my family, along with my partner and the DG family support. Thanks so much for the snippets of info. Loved every moment of it.

BINGO

It seems like we are more and more becoming a nation of entitlement. You hit the nail on the head with this blog. The days of "work until you're 65, collect a pension, social security and Medicare are rapidly dwindling. It's time to take ownership of our lives and our future. Thanks Dean for taking the time and offering such a great system for us (your students) to take action/ownership of our situations.

Thank you Dean for the words
