Awesome Dean, I've watched a lot of your videos and this one really kicked butt. I've been working at doing my first deal bit by bit and have had no problem finding great buyers but just need to find the properties. In the face of all the difficulties I have right now somehow I will break thru.

With all the negative waves out there, it sure is hard to stay on track. I have committed myself to only listen, read, and speak positive about everthing. I've read the "mind is the builder the physical is the result". What we think about, we are actually creating our future.

I truly look forward to your weekly wisdom. My husband thinks we are too old to get into something new. I am 55 and he is 54. I am going to show him this video and see if I can get him over to my side. I keep reading and looking for properties, and when I do a deal, I will tell him, "I told you so!" I can't retire on what I make now, but I know that I can have money to live on in real estate and will have a hobby for Life! Thank you, Dean, and all the DG Family for your help and support! I have been watching you, your tv infomercials, and now this site for about 3 years now. I want to get started soooooo bad...

Dean I have seen so many motivational speaker and not one of them comes close to inspiring me than you because it comes from your heart! It comes through the screen on my computer! Thanks for posting these videos.You really dont know how this helps to motivate us individuals. i work in the mortgage industry and i can tell you that it is a daily grind and a continual negative areana to be in. I'm finally working on my first deal with another investor and this has been very challenging. She has a big heart but doesnt stick to time frames. We have a buyer already and w are suppose to close on the 15th with her. The rehab is coming along slowly due to my partners process. I dont know how to tell her that she is moving along to slowly without hurting her. I was the money person who used a self-directed IRA to fund the deal. She has no money in the game so i dont think theres taht much motivation for her. I'm afraid if we lose our buyer we will have to put the home on the market and then have more holding costs. I can go on for ever but I will stop with thanks again for your motivational video blogs. They keep me going.

My husband and I are just getting started in real estate, and this is my first Weekly Wisdom. But I still wanted to comment on the fact that I 100% agree with the idea of communing with like-minded individuals to keep your dreams alive. It's so easy to get discouraged by nay-sayers and to let the negative part of ourselves take over. We have to remember not to do that. Not only can coming together with others who KNOW that they can create different futures for themselves keep us motivated--the power of united thoughts is unimaginable. So far, I am definitely liking the support and idea-exchange on this site. Thanks for the video!

One of the biggest issues for me was getting off the fence ...

I rode the fear-factor for a couple of years. All I can say is:

On Monday morning after the training you Will get off the fence. Either you will fall back into the dead grassy side where you are coming from ,,, or you will leap forward into the lush green grass on the other side of the fence.

You will Water the grass on whatever side You Choose ... You Will Choose AND you Will Water...

Get Educated ... Take Action ... Correct and Continue ... Keep It Simple ... Ready ~ Fire ~ Aim !!!

That was a powerful message that we should keep on moving forward because we are around like-minded people who want to make it in real estate. Keep up the good work, Dean!

Hey Dean, this is David. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me to give myself a second chance. I was a regular on this site a couple of years ago, I was doing everything right. Then some things happened in my life that I won't wine about here, but I let it be my excuse to quit following through. I talked so big on here that when I "failed", I felt ashamed and stopped posting and really gave up on Real Estate. Your blogs and the fact that you really give a crap about what happens to your students, beyond selling us your product, has been one of the main motivators in getting me back in the game. As of now I'm proud to report that I have my own LLC, a business bank account, a growing power team, and I'm rebuilding my buyers list. I had a little trouble with a Realtor, so I dropped him and I'm meeting a very promising lady tomorrow. I'm focusing on the revised 25:1 that you and Matt went over in your live broadcast and will tell you when I close something. I now see my "failure" as a lesson learned and the future is brighter than ever. This went longer than I meant too, so thanks for helping to really empower us...path, plan, and definitely inspiration! Hope you have a great week!

Ok, so I am really dragging my butt. I am the closet case reader because I keep being told that this isn't going to work. I believe that it will work and have been sneaking my readings and listening to the blogs in private but I still have to deal with my fears.

Anyway, last week my daughter asked me "how do you make a million dollars?" I told her "I don't know how to because I have never made a million dollars." Well, next year I would like to make a million dollars or be extremely close as possible. How can I educate her if I don't know how?

Real estate is the key. It's time to face the fear and move forward. True wealth is in real estate- it always has been. We only have so much real estate and those who control it gain the wealth.

Now I am getting the fire burning under my butt and am ready to get going. How do you teach your kids if you don't know yourself?

Real Estate has always been the key. Real Estate is limited. There is only so much land. So he who control the real estate controls the wealth.

Hey Dean,
Thanks for your real & honest message about getting back into the game & staying in the game. Had a deal that started in December 2011 and it was going good and it fell out of escrow because of mold and an ARV that wasn't accurate. Good thing we discovered it and tried to renegotiate with the bank on mold & sell price but they wouldn't bend. Ran out of time on the contingency and had to back out. Some unexpected expenses came along and ran out of earnest money. We're getting back on track and will find a deal that will work soon. Thanks again Dean, keep these messages rockin...

I have been listening to the weekly isdom everyweek and after going thru the death of my Dad. I am dedicating myself to starting over again. I am not going to let my wife or any of the ney sayers keep me down. I DO DESERVE TO BE ON TOP!!!I DO DESERVE TO TREAT MYSELF AS GOOD AS I WOULD MY BEST FRIEND! I want to have something to leave MY kids if I leave this world. I deserve to succeed.

Thanks for the continued motivation Dean!!! I have been trying to work on a buyers list with no luck. I have tried to locate a like minded real estate agent with no luck. I am getting a bit frustrated and You are right, I am a dreamer in my world so it is hard to discuss with my peers. I have realized today that I am not putting forth enough effort and giving it my all, so I took off this afternoon and my goal was to locate today a real estate agent. I ended up taking a nap with my 3 yr old son. Now, again that didn't get me any closer to my goal. I was frustrated with myself and then I watched your blog. It drug me back to my real estate reality and I am ready to go again. Thank goodness for the internet as I will still get my name out there tonight and hopefully by the end of the week have an agent by my side to get started.

I was almost moved to tears just listening to you and hearing and watching the passion you have for guiding us and helping us to succeed. It is true that every time I feel like I can't do this real estate thing...you and all the DG.comers give me a swift kick in the pessimistic behind and help me get back on the wagon!
