I have decided to put together "The Matt Larson Challenge"
What is the Matt Larson Challenge?
It is a real estate training and acquisition program that would be comparable to the training and guts it takes to become a Navy Seal. You will get knocked down, beat up, tested, and pushed past the point of failure. Many people want to become a Navy Seal-but very, very few can endure the process. It is the same way with the "Matt Larson Challenge". Do not enter if you are weak. Do not enter if you are a quitter. Do not enter is giving up is an option. Do not enter if you like the odds in your favor. Do not enter if you want to "get rich easy". Do not enter if self discipline is not a priority in your life. I like to make things hard. I want the road to be painful. I want to push you past the point of failure. Why? Because I am making you tougher and stronger so you can BECOME. Your the project, not real estate.
Who should enter the "Matt Larson Challenge"?
-People with intestinal fortitude, a.k.a. "guts"
-People that want to win-regardless of the price.
-People tired of losing
-People with long term vision
-People with delayed gratification
-People that want to work their guts out-for free
-People that want the training to become a real estate acquisition machine that absolutely cannot be stopped in any economic climate or situation!

Matt, how would you feel about doing a shock camp style training for 2 of us together. Jeremy and me? We are partners and what one person does the other is included also. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I am a new Real Estate Investor and have read your blog on Dean's website and would like the opportunity to be consider one of your candidates for this program. As you can see I have already established a business name and license, but I am still waiting on my State Seal for my LLC Certificate here in SAn Diego, Ca. If this isn't an issue, I would love to learn from you!
A little more background information:
I have already started my Power Team list and am working with a motivated Real Estate Agent using your strategy of mass property proposals. So far I have looked at 15 homes that all have been short saled; though I have not yet made any offers. I have also established connections with Investor clubs and have networked with some construction owners for rehabs, Hard money lenders, Appaisers, Home Inspectors, and Real Estate Agents/Brokers. I have also joined the 4-closure.com family to find properties. Currently I am trying to set up my website to attrack more buyers and sellers.

I think that is part of the challenge. The game has begun.

If this is part of the challenge, then Matt will be flooded with emails and PM's from all of us trying to get through to him.
I actually used to work with a Sales Director that would hire people this way. He would interview them, then tell them to call him back the following Monday. When they called back... he wouldn't take their call and would have his assistant tell them to call back tomorrow. He would then repeat this process for about 2-3 weeks... if they were still calling him back by then, he would take their call and hire them on the spot.
When I asked him why he did this, he said he was looking for people that wouldn't let a few obstacles get in the way of their goal.
Is that a little crazy?... Maybe, but it seemed to work.
