COUNT DOWN.......The Edge Event starts tomorrow... I am OUTA here!!!!

I feel that i am on the edge of disaster and so i am praying and coming to DG.com to look for new blog from Dean and more inspiration. I am also inspired by you Carol. I feel stuck and am progressing at a snails pace. I am trying to keep life simple and keep it from being complicated. Yet, it is complicated. I am finding plenty of properties but i need buyers and a good team. One thing that stops me is not trusting. That is a montrously huge debacle for me. I need to take a leap of faith i know and just DO SOMETHING. I also am not good with technology and have trouble navigating this website. Wish i could chat with you live. Maybe someday. I love it that you are a Christian. One thing i have on my list of to do's is to get better with the computer. It is after all the way of my future and i will use it a lot with my new career in Real Estate. I did set up a corp. MiniMac Enterprises Inc. Real Property Investor. I want to next setup a website for my corp.
About me - i will be 62 on june 3rd and have been on my job 20 years. With the state of our economy i feel time is running out at the company. I feel blessed that Dean came along because he has been such a lifeline for me. I live in Ca and sister in Ks brother in Co parents gone. I can be very social but do not have people that i can be close with. My companions are my parrots and one miniature american eskimo appr 12 years old. That is unconditional love.

I can relate to your frustration. I was there at one time as well. It was only my faith and trust in God that kept me hanging on. I have lost my entire family ( both brothers and parents ) but I am so thankful that I have my children and husband in my life.

It is your desire to change your life that will motivate you and your frustration, believe it or not, in your current situation that will push you to succeed. You just have to believe in yourself enough to step out.

You say you that not trusting is an obstacle that is in your way. Let me say that we become our own worst enemy when life calls for us to take a step forward. We get in our own way and step on our own feet when life is about to change for us. This is because we as humans need to be in familiar grounds to feel secure when in reality it is unfamiliar ground that leads us to bigger and better things.

My suggestion is to get out of your way!! Freedom is on the other side waiting for you to get there!

Wow, you are absolutley correct. We do like our comfort zones and routines. I have been feeling self-imprisoned and that is why. OMG ! This is great !
I know that there is a big change coming. I also think that the way i am feeling is how people must feel when they are about to bungie jump or jump out of an airplane. I have gone so far as to envision that i will be able to make enough money on my own to secure the winter years of my life and be able to even afford a full time driver when i can no longer drive. Praise God i am in good health. Another gratitude item. Dean would be proud.

Dg fam I need your help!!! I just started with dean"s material, have had to finance the success academy becuase I believe I can do this unfourtenly my funding fell through For that I was going to use for the live event. I have total and complete faith in Deans teqhniques and feel that if I start my investing career off right I can do this!! I know this event will change my life!!I have all the determination and will in the world but I need help to get there!! Any suggestions before time runs out? Please dg fam help me and I promise your suggestions won't go unheard and this site has become my only postive supportive fam.. Just like you asked a investor when you first started to help you out either with them investing in you or being a partner. If you invested you would get your investment back 10xxx. If I could finance with interest and pay back on first deal. Please any suggestions pm me if no response I will continue to repost till it happens, I have faith in god it will happen I will be s millionare!!

although I've been on the site a short time I've seen what amazing things you do with wholesales and of course your send me away video I would be beyond honored to be a part of YOUR team. I am in northern nj and looked on this site and I don't see many NJers lol. But we can definetly conqur north/central/south jersey.!!! I recieved your pm and I am extremley grateful for this site.

Oh, I wish I could go to the EDGE, but being a single mom would never leave my daughter alone. Next year hopefully. Carol will Dean be putting some of the EDGE on his site. I still haven't done a deal yet, I have about 20 properties and a buyer, but I guess I just am having a hard time getting up the nerve to talk to owners to their face, not really knowing exactly what to say when they ask questions. I need help please! I am part of the Academy but not getting enough help. Please help me, I really need this so I can stop going to my job and be home for my daughter. I am a little nervous about going to see a property alone, also. Any help would be terrific.

Fear is the enemy of every one who is just starting out. Some get past it and succeed others get crippled by it and give up. Once you conquer your fear success is on the other side.

You have to identify your fears and conquer them.

Afraid to talk to sellers due to fear of rejection. This is a biggy! The way you conquer this is to look at the worst case scenario... they reject you! No biggy you move on to the next one at least you tried. It is when you allow fear to cripple you and not even try that you fail. The worst thing that can happen is the seller says NO! That's it! So you keep going till you find the one that says YES! All the while learning in the process and getting better at your approach.

Every step you take is a training experience. You have to take steps to learn and get better. Don't let fear cripple you before you even start.

I know that many people would like to attend the Edge but are financially unable to go this year. I remember feeling that way last year. I wanted to go so bad but did not have the finances to make it there.

However this year I am going! You may not be able to go this year but if you make it a goal to go next year and continue to put what you learn into action you will be financially able to go next year.

I would love to see everyone go but for some that is just not a financial reality. If this is you I suggest you focus all your energy on making next year happen! Keep pressing forward and be determined to let NOTHING get in your way!
