Offline....TICK! TOCK!....As the New Year approaches, I believe many of us have resolutions and goals set for the new year. On a cold winter afternoon, I took a survey and the results are in..............
The Investor’s Top 10 Resolutions for 2011:
1. TIME - Spend more time with family and friends and less time at working the daily grind.
2. SOMETHING NEW - Find a real estate agent that enjoys making “low-ball” multiple offers on a weekly basis.
3. (FINANCIAL) HEALTH - Find a portfolio lender that has more money than customers or find a “hard” money lenders with “easy” terms and rates.
4. MONEY – Spend more money (for your properties) at Home Depot, Lowe’s or Menards rather than spending that money at the mall or the local restaurants.
5. WEIGHT - Lose the "dead weight" Power Team Members and replace them with lean mean team members that are ready to wheel and deal!
6. HEALTH - Eat healthier, by avoiding drive-thrus, as you drive neighborhoods on the weekends looking for deals offered by hungry motivated sellers.
7. FITNESS - Walk, run or drive the local neighborhood to find those hidden gems of a deal!

Each year I make resolutions but I know this year I wil lkeep more than years past. The great thing about reolutions is yo uhave 365 days during the year to work on them. If you have more good days than bad your doing well. Therefore, I hope to be at least 50/50 or better this year. Have a great holiday weekend. Believe and Achieve!

My news years tip...when you see yourself drifting fro myour goals within the first month of your resolutions... STOP YOURSELF. Dont let yourself drift completely away as in years past and slink back into your same routine expecting things to change.
Take action and dont let others or temptations of entertainment in your free time pull you away from getting to your goals.

....Thank you to everyone that added posts to this forum. It's a new year and we are going to make a difference and accomplish what we set out to do. It has been 7 days into the new year. Are you where you want to be? On track with those resolutions? If not, thats okay! You still have 358 days left in 2011. Remember the key is have more productive days than non-productive days. If you do, 183 good days is a 500 average. Wow, that will be progress. Make the most out of this weekend! You can do it! Believe and Achieve!

After reading some of these amazing posts & the many incredibly inspirational stories, this may seem like a pretty small step, but, yes, I've done it, I'm finally here on the site. I realize how fortunate I am to start out with a very helpful background & useful tools, so one of my resolutions was to simply refuse to make excuses for avoiding the path to success. I look forward to exchanging ideas with like-minded folks in r.e. & maybe even partnering up! I'm hopeful that I'll have my own success story to tell this year. I wish everyone a great year filled with great deals!
I have been envolved since 10-31-10. This is will be a exciting year for me. My resolution has always been reset the goal and stay focused. I have had an interest in real estate and I thought about becoming an agent, but, I wanted to take advantage of the market at this point because it is a good entry position. I saw your program one Saturday morning and I said, "Dean must have the system that will work." I have other business interests, but, I believe that I can fit this in because I believe no matter what the economy we're in, people have to have a place to live and there is money to be made in real estate. So far, I have been building my foundation of my business, like, making business cards. I have taken this leap of faith and to take action. Soon, I will attend some events were I will meet some investors and buyers. Up to this point, I have set the goals. Dean, I am determined to work your system and I intend on getting the results.
