OfflineA happy 4th of July to our DG family and friends. I am sitting in our office on this beautiful Saturday morning going thru the new posts and pm's. I noticed I received a pm from a new DG member username vivian. I read thru the post and almost fell out of my chair laughing.
The pm is from a woman in Africa who inherited a huge sum of money from her father and picked me to invest it for her and also offers a 10% commission to boot!!
Now Jeremy and I like to consider ourselves pretty savy investors and for sure have had our share of ups and downs, but for sure we are not Dean Graziosi, Donald Trump and the rest of the best known investors in the world.
So my family please beware of this scam that has found it's way into our great site. It is one of the oldest scams around with different twists on it.
If you receive a pm with this type of offer attached to it, delete it, and report it to DG Admin
I know there are many of you out there who look for funding as Jeremy and I do but please don't open the door on something that has the potential to hurt you and your investing career.

I used to receive several of these scam emails at my old 9 to 5 job. It's always good to know the new twist they try to put on the same old song. Thank you.

I delt with this guy last month!!!!!!!!!And yes I'm very nice but,I looked into it and called him on it and he called me a million times!!!!!FROM AFRICA at a payphone. so yes beware and whatever u do dont get him on the phone

I get that email on Yahoo a lot,it changes it's face ,but not it's
message. I also told them to look for a visit from the FBI ,it did
not stop the fools from sending emails.

I have recieved several E-Mails trying to get me to work for them and saying for me to give my info so they can send me a check.I cant believe people actually fall for these.
They are on the craig'e list to. One Guy played with me for about two week on some properties I was working a deal on. Come to find out later it was a scam. He sent me a contract by email in which we would form a partnership between him and I for hard money. I called my attorney to look over the contract and he said trash it. Man I was heart broken and long store short he made a Fool of me with a seller to purchase his properties. I glade to know I am not alone Thanks

I got a phone call someone stated he was a real estate invester and can help me get started. All I need is to send $400.00 and in return I could make up to seven thousand, I was also informed that this investor was mailing an other person who sent him money this same amount give or take. how do I know if this is real BEWARE OF PHONE SCAMS.
This **** sounds like whats been on TV on A 20/20 TV Special but only they Targeted ppl's e-mails . I havn't gotten anything from here on DG.COM , but have seen these types of E-mails .
One time I Replied & Told the Asshole to send me $5,000 ..........LOL They never responded back .......LOL I GUESS thats how you scare their ass off.......LOL hell ask them to send you A Check hell I'm broke like WTH? would I look like trying to send their ass Money when I'm trying to get my own life in order .
But At least I'm not SCAMMING ppl for money I'm helping others get out of Bad situations .
The best thing to do is to find a good AV rated lawyer to look over some of the terms being presented in most cases to know if you are going to have the rug pulled from under you feet when you walk through the door or if it was just something that was not clear and over time you breached and have to feel embarrassed paying for passive ignorance.

Hi Jan; and thanks for the report on this scammer. yes, I myself have had many of these going to my email accounts (2) and one just has to ignore them. Am glad I did and they finally stopped; what a racket!
