Long time no speak Wanted to say hi and see what you are up to! Glad you are getting the SFL system and I hope its the piece of the puzzle that works for you to get jump started! You said it yourself - no more excuses! Heres one of my newest favorite sayings - "You can make excuses, or you can make money". Get out there and do it!!!

thanks for the visit,just looking around at all the posts i haven't taken the time to visit.wow you got 56 new posts since i last talked to you.you must be the popular one lol.gonna take me some time to get caught up with everyone,but i haven't just been working in my soon to be extinct job.i've been reading and searching for properties,but this is my busy season and i haven't spent the proper amount of time on my new career.this is about to change.WOOHOO i got the sfl and i'm ready to be lol.
i had to be on the job this morning and wanted to be home by noon so i left at 5 a.m.then everything that was supposed to be ready wasn't and my day started getting longer and my nerves getting shorter as i neared the noon hour and my last chance at the sfl system.at noon my mobile phone would pull up the mail and i could see that dean had opened the gates but i couldn't open my mail.frustrated and seeing my second chance at this wonderful system fading from my view,i tossed the phone told everyone i had to leave for a bit.i got in my truck punched the nearest public library in my gps and left the job.all i knew was i was NOT going to miss out this time so i flew to the library and got online there,picked up my sfl and had a deep sigh of relief 'cause i know this system can help me to take action especially when reading and comprehending are hard for me. anything that will help me speed up my process should be berry berry good for me lol.

just got done listening to dean and greg on my first of many sfl calls and as i was listening to dean say,i know you may feel overwhelmed but think of yourself 6 months from now,and all i could think of while writng my notes was to put in bold letters across the top of my page to refer back to is..I CAN!!!
thanks dean for this system.what makes me most excited is the ongoing training for this system,the hand holding to walk us through if you will that makes me know i'm gonna "be set for life".thanks again,dean and greg.

still haven't gotten my sfl kit but i refuse to be discouraged.i have my quick start info but haven't visited the site yet,wanted to start with my kit in hand but if i don't have it by thursday night when i get the job i'm working ondone, i'm just going to try to figure things out w/o it.keep moving forward,rob

aggravated that my sfl wasn't in before the holiday weekend.
i had hopes of closing the door,telling everyone in the house to tell anyone calling i'm unavailable and diving in.
looks like i'm gonna have to break into this bad boy the old fashioned way and find my quickstart info lol.i've been patiently waiting for my package to come in but i just can't take the wait anymore.
it's like being a kid and looking at your presents under the tree for a month,lol.
i've been working 16 -17 hour days for the past week and i'm pretty burnt out,but i'm gonna take a nice nap and get going on my sfl this evening.

Its great to hear that you are going after what you believe in, even though you are surrounded my negativity. for a while I had been sharing my excitement about real estate to my friends at work and they actually started to avoid talking to me because they dont want to hear it. I had to sit back and while wondering why they dont get why im so excited, I realized that not everyone wants that better quality of life. It is a choice that you have to make and go for it. No one can force the desire to live a better life into your heart. It has to grow because it wants to. I dont know if that makes much sense but thats my feelings comming out of my finger tips you know? Have a wonderful and prosperous day!

daniel,thank you for visiting my journal and your words of encouragement.
when people don't get that you're exited,it's not that they don't get it,it's that they can't get their heads around your desire to be better.don't forget, some people feel insulted that you'd want to better yourself if you're now on the same page as they are, as if you're saying where they are isn't where you want to be.the fact that they're okay with where they are is okay for them.
just sometimes you may want to keep your desires where they belong...here on dg where you have like minded people 'cause we understand your desires lol.

So hows it going? Hope your SFL is working for you and that you are moving forward and keeping up your high energy and excitement level! I know what you mean about catching up with everyone when you havent been on in a while...most all the posts I follow have at least 40 new entries for me to read to catch up! Yikes! Good thing I dont have any plans for the night lol.

i have fallen so far behind on my reading that i don't know if i'll ever catch up before winter lol.
finally got my sfl and opened it up but there's only the edge'10 in there.
i thought there was some software i was waiting for but if i'd known everything was online i'd of been into it long ago.
still i've got a couple of days' worth of edge to go through before i get started.i guess i'm supposed to go through that first,either way i'm happy to have it and can't wait to get some time to get started.

wow, almost 2 weeks since i've posted,shame on me.

i've been on a job that is 2.5 hrs trip each way and long hours there trying to get it done on time.
thank God it's finally done.
this afternoon i plan on spending some quality time getting to know my sfl system.
it's time for my 2nd payment and i haven't opened it yet.

wow,i finally got to listen to sfl video training....ONE.i can't believe i've been this slow but it took me all day to listen to a 90 minute video.
it seems i'm always interrupted at home and my office is in my house so between phone calls from customers and family needing my undivided attention,i'm ready to run somewhere, anywhere with internet access.lol.
the fact is my family is why i'm trying to better my life so i can not only better theirs, but be able to give more quality time at home,have no more worries about money and generally feel better about myself.
it sure is a little tough right now, but i will not,can not quit. what would i go back to anyway? oh yea, a place i never want to be. I WILL because I CAN!

had to take my son to get his wisdoms out.why do they call them wisdom teeth if all they want to do with them is chuck 'em? just wondering.

wow, what a long time to not post.
i know this r.e. thing i'm really interested in succeeding in is real.
i know you have to take action, not just read and gather info.
i know i haven't had a day off in 6 weeks.
i know i'm tired and need to get better organised with my time.
i know nothing will change until i make the change.
i know i've been trying to pay bills ahead so i can work on r.e.
i know this hasn't worked in the last 6 weeks.
i know i'm working more and getting less done.
i know it's been 6 weeks since i've spent more than 5 min. at a time here.
i know i need to get refocused on what can truly change my life.
shame on me for working hard instead of smart.
posting in this journal is one way to keep r.e. in your mind and in your thoughts, which for me is why i started my journal in the first place.
i have to apologise to all my dg family for dropping the ball, but most of all to myself for not staying focused.
time to get back on track and refocused.
this site is a place for us to help each other stay on track, so if any of you out there see me slipping, please give me a wakeup. thank you.

took the day to rest a little, then went out to find my shed lol, i've been working such long hours i've grabbing what i need and tossing the supplies i finished using in no particular order for awhile, so i found my shed and then sat down with my edge kit that i haven't spent any time with.
got half way through talmadge before i decided to check in on d.g. to say hello and report that i;ve begun taking action....again.
noticed carol stinson has done her first hostile, good for her and way to go.
now i'm off to bed and watch a little football so i can get up before everyone and continue with my edge.

it's important to stay focused and easy to fall out of good habits. i've only gotten back through the first dvd but i'm going to get up early tomorrow morning to watch dvd #2.
