Life is good. No one knows everything about Real Estate. There is so much to learn and things are always progressing, laws change. Just remember to take everyday one step at a time. I am still trying to learn and understand real estate. I have done REO one deal and we are currently working on the improvements needed to make money from it. As someone stated in the "Gain The Edge 10" DVD set if you wanted to complain or have something negative to say you first had to state 3-positive things they are grateful for then they could state there negative. It's amazing but after you state 3-positive things the negative doesn't really matter. We have started that in our family & it's amazing what happens. I dare you to try it! God Bless you all.

Kelly I am so glad to hear your enthusiasm and determination for a better life. My story is allot like your. I have 7 children and when I first started I knew nothing about real estate and I was facing hardships I never thought I would overcome. But like you I had faith and believed that God had a bigger plan for me

I will never forget the first time I visited this forum...WOW! The people here were helpful and transparent and God's word was in many of the posts so I knew then that this was a place he wanted me to be.

You keep believing girl and you keep learning and pushing forward! Your outlook is AWESOME and your determination is deeply felt.

My husband's biopsy results just came back, and it showed cancer. Second time. But today's still a good day, because God's taking care of all the details.

In order to get to where you want to be, you have to know where you want to start. I for one would like to know what you are doing to find leads. Are you searching the MLS, direct mailing, newspaper ads or some other form of marketing?

You have to develop a marketing plan, one that you can tailor and make better. Also have you decided what strateg you want to use as an exist? Take action but do the work that's going to make you money and minimize your time on busy work.

It is a great day today and I realized earlier this evening on a deeper level how important the DG.com family is. One of the things we investors need to do is hang out with other investors and i have yet to get to one of the investment clubs but I will one of these days. And then i have not done my first deal since getting started with Dean Graziosi wonderful guy and blessing that he is. That will happen too sooner rather than later I just know it. Yet I believe I did my first deal really when i bought my home as a single woman in 2000. The property had been on the market 40 days in an area that was very desirable and hard to find available homes. There were tenants that would not let anyone in. My agent told me I may need to put a contract on it subject to - - . I did and the tenant did not like it but I got my house. It listed for 110,000. below market value and i saw the potential and had to get loan for 118,000. Such a deal! At the height of the market it could have sold for somewhere around 385,000. I believe the market will come back strong and then the value will go beyond 385,000. So, I say yes it is a great day and there are endless possibilities. This web site for the moment is my REI club. I am inspired and hanging out with like minded people. By their actions ye shall no them! So true and what a wonderful bunch of people you all are. I am on the edge truly and i know one thing for sure. We can not afford to let anything get us down. Oh no. We must think on that which is lovely and pure and kind and good. I am out here in California and I am truly on the edge of what ever is going to happen. God Bless and keep you all and by the way I finally rec'd my Edge10 kit tonight when i arrived home from work. I can't wait to get into it! THANK YOU EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU We all have seeds to plant and never know who or what will grow as a result but we do make the world a better place. Although I have been battling some serious medical issues since April and the doctor's can't seem to figure out what is wrong with me, we are getting closer to a diagnosis. But today was such a great day because we signed up with Dean's Success Academy today! My husband and I are so excited and ready to get started. Can't wait for our first call tomorrow afternoon.

I'm sorry to hear you've been dealing medical problems. What state do you live in? What hospital do you go to?

I live in the Cleveland, Ohio area where some of the best hospitals are. My oldest son spent the first year of his life at Rainbows Babies & Childrens hospital. We have also had surgeries and procedures done at the Cleveland Clinic.

I hope you feel better, and I hope you get the anwers you're looking for.

Thank you. I live in North Carolina and my doctor is waiting for one more test result and then he is sending me to Duke. My sister-in-law lives in Westlake and my brother has been in the Cleveland Clinic several times.

I hope your son is feeling better. Hopefully I will too soon. The only thing that has given me any hope or encouragement lately has been thinking about starting this program. I'm so excited!

I have yet to put my first deal together and I know where you are coming from. It's a little hard at first learning everything but once you really know the stuff it really isn't all that hard. God bless you and see you at the top!

It took me almost 1 year of working every day learning about real estate before I put my first deal together. I even had to take a break for about a month because I was burning myself out. But we kept learning and doing and you know what? It's not as much as some but we are on our third house since January.

You are never given a which without also being given the power to make it come true! You will have to work for it however.

What a great message! Very uplifting and inspiring to me as I begin my journey with the DG system. I appreciate you honestly in how it is and I look forward to experiencing success with every following this proven system!

While I'm currently experiencing challenges myself I have to take inventory of all the many blessings I have. God has blessed me with a tremendous and supportive wife, two beautiful children and we are all healthy with a roof over our heads and food on the table. Although, I'm currently facing a setback in my business I have to reflect on all the good I've had in this business. I know what I'm facing will also pass as tough times always do.

Life is tough, but God is with us.

just before I clicked onto this thread, I just finished listening to the Ice Cube song of the same title

Granted it had nothing to do with real estate or having it rough, but still....

for us too. There really is so much to be grateful, for and we can not forget to give thanks for are blessings.We still haven't done are first deal yet but we are getting closer every day,and if we keep on keeping on it will happen, and then it should get a lot easier,i think that is due to the fact that, that first one takes so much time and work that we all learn so much from it.What is working and what isn't and we make adjustment to get it done and that puts us in a better position for the deals that follow. We to, do believe that GOD is good and on our side, we only ask that he reward us proportionally to our efforts and if he does, which we know he will, we will be SFL and give back to others.

Hey Kelly, you are giving so much to everyone on this site, just by showing us your attitude toward life and how you are dealing with any negative actions that happen. We all have certain issues, problems, and setbacks that happen as we better are lives and those who welcome those hardships and get through them by believing in there self and knowing that God wants you to be successful will become successful. Being positive is the first step and you have that which some of us do not so please keep posting and showing people out there that just because you have not done your first deal yet does not mean you should give up and become negative.
