I need to make this work

I need to make this work

Hey DG family, I just needed to say it. I need Real Estate investing to work for me. Every single person who I hold dear, have the same stressful problem just like many of us out there. Not enough money. It frustrates me as a Son, Grandson, Brother and boyfriend that right now at this moment I can't help. My loved ones are struggling just like most families out there. I'm not here for a pity party, but I need to remove this stress from my life as well as my families. I'm too young to be stressed out. Life is way too short. I need to make this change for my family. If your out there reading this post and are in a similar situation like myself, take action right now and make the change. Do what it takes to be great. Stay up late reading, send emails/make calls during your lunch breaks, do what is needed to be great. Lets help one another be successful in our endeavors.

Thanks Vonny

Your absolutely right.. I can't help someone else out of a hole if I'm in a hole myself. Needed to hear it. Just want to use that frustration as motivation to keep striving and pushing towards my first deal. I must admit that I took off work today, so that I could invest more time getting closer to my first deal. Thanks Vonny

Josh, We hear you and are

Josh,
We hear you and are tight there with you- stay motivated, stay on track and everything will fall into place Smiling

Thanks

Its means a lot.. it really does.. I thank Dean, the SA, and everyone on this site for the support. Its tough out here. We're real people with real problems. But this is our way out. Financially free can mean making $50,000 a year cash flow or a net worth of a million dollars. What ever it means to you, write it down and go after it. Its funny cause last night I listened in on Dean's conversation and he talked about the market being like a "roller coaster".. and with our emotions it can be the same way. We have our ups and downs. But its at the bottom, when you have no where else to go but up. I love quotes and I'll leave with this.

Thanks again,

words of encouragement

Josh,
Hang in there and keep pursuing the real estate goals. Vonny offered you great advise. In this tough economy, we all see many family and friends struggling financially and it is easy to be distracted and distraught by it as there is only so much we can do. My father and sister are also struggling in this poor economy. Watching and hearing my single sisters struggle after finding herself out of work with no financial assistance is difficult. Even though I have a good job there is only so much that I can do to help. The best help we can give is to become successful real estate investors ourselves and perhaps they will also learn to pursue financial security via real estate as a means after watching your successes. I am a nurse who is pursuing more real estate opportunities in my spare time. I truely believe there will be many millionaire that will spring forth in the next 5-10 years as a direct result from real estate investing in this current market place. Not to say this is easy, because it isn't, but opportunity is out there for those who are willing to stay focused and continue to pursue and search for more deals even when other deals fall through. The deals are there...work the numbers and stay focused...you will succeed.

Make it work

You can make this work. If you have the drive and determination you can do anything. Make sure every day that you feel like you can't do something you remind yourself why you are doing it.

You will be just fine.

Yes you can...

No, my post title is not an Obama campaign promise but rather a real saying that you CAN make it happen. When I started looking into investing almost 10 years ago the only thing you could get your hands on were expensive cheer leader programs that took your hard earned money and left you high and dry in the end.

Well after following deal for a few years now, I can say with all honesty that he IS the real deal along with many members here. A while back Dean posted about how other RE companies were sending him angry emails stating that information thats here for FREE is what the others charge for. His response to them was basically "too bad for you" I love it! Dean wants the people here to succeed so much that in my view he goes above and beyond to make it happen outside of dropping a bag of money off at your front door.

Lastly, you're welcome to PM me with any "beginner" questions you might have. And search for posts by CBRPOWER aka Matt Larson, one of Dean's top students that went from factory worker to millionaire in just a few years. Smiling

keep posting in your jounal every day to keep track of your accomplishments, not your problems... when you focus on your problems you are wasting precious time that you will never get back to do your re investing.

Wishing you success,

Vonny this is excellent

advise for all of us. Its prioritizing your problems: big problems are rocks, normal problems are pebbles and small problems are sand. The only way to get all the problems into the same jar is to start with the rocks, followed by the pebbles and finally the sand. Stay focused, follow the above plan and everything will fall into place. "Im not this smart...I read it somewhere". LOL Best of luck to all!

I'm feeling the love

Thanks everybody for your comments. Its not easy. Its tough at times as you all know. I'm glad that I posted this entry to show my real emotions. I'm just like everyone else out there. Making it happen, Struggling, uncertain, motivated. Its a constant up and down. I'm shocked at the progress I've made in 17days since I've joined the SA. At times you may forget what you have done and what you have been through. You forget the progress that you've made. It's a war. Losing a battle is o.k., as long as you win the war. I'm truly grateful for my DG family..

@steve guy I'm loving that quote, "I'm not this smart... I read it somewhere."

I am grateful

to see all of the words of encouragement. The DG family response feels so natural and authentic.

Josh, I lost my momentum and needed to see this kind of outpouring of support and well wishes. Most days, I do at least one thing I need to do to succeed. My timeline for success requires that I do fifteen or twenty things a day.

Time to do the uncomfortable stuff, so I better get back to work. peace,

No place better

Hey Dana, I'm so happy that you were able to be encouraged by the comments made. I feel that there is no better site for support and honesty than this great site. I just got off the phone with an SA coach and I just started to smile. The motivating, encouraging and helpful words go a long way. Its tough maintaining momentum, but its easier when you have a great family like this one to push you. Just remember why you need to become successful in Real Estate. Use that as motivation when you feel like slacking off. I had this trick explained to me by a professor when I was at college and use it every time I feel like I can't do something. Remember a time in you life when you thought you couldn't something and did it. Despite all the circumstances, you pushed through at did it. It could be anything, baking a cake, riding a bike for the first time, getting your first car. Something that you know you worked hard for and did. That feeling that you had. Remember that feeling of accomplishment. Smiling when it was all said and done. Use that feeling to get things done.

You can do it. We believe in you. Don't lose steam. If you do.. tell us about it and we'll get you back on track.

Josh

Agree with Jevon

Your concentration right now should be success in real estate. Now go out there and get your first deal.

Rock theme

Steve
your rock cliche is an excellent goal. I will start w/ my big rock which is the absorption of this knowledge, then the normal which is the action, and finally acting on it.

This is real

I'm amazed by everyone on this site. Everyone is willing to give advice, share experiences and give you that extra push when needed. I'm happy to say that I'm trying to get my first deal done. I'm working in 3 different states to maximize my profit potential. I can feel it happening soon. Stay focused. Stay committed. Most importantly take action.
