This is a great place to learn and network. It is also good to fill out your bio so others can connect more with you.

First objective here is to get the phone ringing with sellers. Get your self 50 yellow blank 24x18 signs, and a big wide tip black marker, write on the first line, " We Buy Houses" second line small print "any condition" third line Your Phone number, dont use area code, that way you can write the numbers large. 555-5555 ok next start placing them at busy intersections in the area you want to flip houses, next sit bye your phone and have the phone script ready to start answering the phone. when the phone calls slow down check and reset out new signs, put out 15-20 the first time, some or all may disapair, that's the sign police, don't worry bout it just put out more its just the cost of doing business, look forward to hearing bout your first deal soon, just get out there and do it.....John H.

but I'm just getting a few things inplace right now...have had a real sore throat and laryngitis recently so I have to take care of that seeing I work in a call ctr for my job and I need my voice of course in this RE...but I've got my why's that Dean told us to do & I read it everyday pls I have a spsheet to keep track of my daily progress so it doesn't slip from me...

Also I have plenty of distractions which is a constant battle, but I just have to stay focused continually 24/7.

My aunt has a house in Pittsburgh, PA that she wants to get rid of due to tenants (11) not paying the rents, etc. She or I cannot afford the eviction fee that the Courts charge at $100 per tentant to get them out. I live in Maryland and want to help and I also have an opportunity to make a profit. She's willing to sell real cheap. She is 86 years old. I really do not know what to do. I am interested in assignments since I am unemployed and have no cash. Would I have to go to Pittsburgh to take care of this? Thank you for your input.

No matter how busy things get, force yourself to make any amount of time everyday to do something.
Go to the court house the day of sheriff sales and meet investors. Or auctions, or even ask a small business if you could put out business cards or a flier at their business. Maybe even offer them something if they bring you a deal.
I just signed up with a marketing company in my area. For $300 they put your name and business on maps at businesses like restaurants, tire places, etc, and your ad is 4x3, and put out at these places year round. And they let me make small payments to pay it off, so I could afford to do it. And found out I am the only one on there with any Real Estate services.
Anytime you decide to put it on the back burner, get on here, and we will all keep you going.
