Customizing a Web Site Template

Has anyone figured out how to customize one of the website templates? For example, switching out a picture, or changing colors, or deleting the home search tool that appears on the core sites?

I figured out how to delete the seller and buyer videos and how you would put in your own, but the other things I have yet to discover.

IE "Navigation Cancelled" (classroom links)

The problem is a security setting for Trusted Sites. The following solved my problem:

1. Close out all documents or programs you have running.
2. Open your Internet browser.
3. Tools
4. Internet Options
5. Trusted Sites
6. Security tab
7. Clear the box "Enabled Protected Mode"
8. OK
9. Restart your computer
10. Open SFL website
11. Click on Classroom
12. Click on a link
13. A window will appear "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was entered securely?" Answer "NO". Every time you log out of the website and log back on, you will see this window the first time you reopen a link.

SFL system question

Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out the SFL automation system. I'm sure you guys too. Anyway I'm working on getting my buyer's list first and then I'll do wholesale deals. And when I search for buyers in my county I get a whole bunch of people and other corporations that apparently bought properties with cash. And if you save those contacts It'll give you the option to send an email to those people with your script. And my question is if you save them and then open their details, there is no email saved on file. How would you send an email to them. Am I missing something there??? And I'm also waiting for my EDGE DVD's. Ordered Saturday and still haven't received them... weird. Please help!!


Good Point

Perhaps we need to do a post card or letter mailing first using one of the template forms. This could be used to drive them to a website for more information and then capture the email addresses.

Perhaps some of our more internet savvy friends have insight on how to find the email addresses for the buyer lists we are getting.

Any ideas folks??

Thank you for keeping everyone posted. When i came home from work i went directly to my home office computer to see the webinar. Not there so went straight away to this sight. Has any had their lead pipe reset... I live in Connecticut and no buyers came up when I entered my county/state. I have made serveral attempts to contact customer service via phone/email but NOTHING. If you have had your lead pipe reset can you please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Lead Pipes

I entered the target counties into the Lead Pipe and also got no responses. I contacted support and they told me that the counties I selected hadn't sent the lists to DG yet. I found this to be very disconcerting since I had my realtor pull all of the cash solds in the past 6 months and she provided me with quite a list. I also asked why DG wouldn't have received this information and the person I was speaking with didn't have any information. Getting actual help is a bit frustrating, is anyone else experiencing that? Also, does anyone know how to find email addresses for the mentors/instructors to ask specific questions about deals being worked? Thanks.

Just to let you know I ordered Saturday as well and just spoke with Customer Service as I have not rec'd mine either. She stated that due to the overwhelming response to SFL they basically ran out and are in the process of making more copies of the EDGE 10 event and we can expect them in the next week to week and a half. She did say that they were "thinking" about putting a RUSH status on the delivery so they get there quicker.

just recieved sfl system really jazzed about it!!! if your referring to the deans acadamy instructors i just called the main number and asked for our coaches email and they gave it to me. hope this was helpful

Does anyone know where we can find the documents i.e. contracts, offers etc in the correct format to upload onto the SFL site? Is there a library of forms and documents we can use anywhere?

Forms and docs

You can access the forms and docs in your SFL backoffice. You simply click on the SFL tab and then click 'information'. Your back office is located there. You will see the forms and docs download on this page. You can also access them here: http://www.deangraziosi.com/yourtown/forms

Now regarding the cash buyer feature in the SLF system - I live in Brooklyn NY so there are alot of surrounding counties, being that we can only pick two counties to get lists from - what information should I gather to help determine the best counties to invest in. As a new investor I'm focusing on wholesaling for now

On another note I am currently employed fulltime so I wanted to incorporate a virtual assistant phone system to take calls for me during the day. That way I can screen these calls to help determine who I really need to be talking to, just like Dean tought in a previous coarse. Any recommendations?
In the other course Dean talks about the PBnext virtual phone system but I've found cheaper online (Ringcentral). Maybe Dean or Greg can negotiate something with the PBnext people for some kind of discount for us SFL users who just kicked out $1500.

I missed the whole set-for

I missed the whole set-for -life opportunity because I was having surgery. Does anyone have a clue if I can still purchase the system??


Customer Service Number???

Can someone please provide the customer service Telephone#. I not seeing it in any of the emails I've received, I just have the email address. I havent received my Edge Coarse either. I think its somewhat unfair to give us 30 days to review the entire system but there's a 2 week delay in us receiving the Edge Home Course materials to help guide us!!

Classroom Videos (Full Screen Issues)

I had trouble initially viewing the Classroom Videos at all, as some others did too. I think that question has been addressed. The videos are small and it's hard to see the text on the demos, but when I clicked on the "Full Screen" button on the lower right side of the video (next to the audio adjuster)...the video would fill the screen with a full white background and nothing else. It's a compatability issue. Just right click on the full screen button (shaped like a rectangle) for "settings" and click on settings. This opens the Adobe Flash Player settings dialog box. Under "Display" the "enable hardware acceleration" box will be checked or unchecked. Check or un-check the box to make your full screen video compatible. Try both ways until you can view the video in full screen...much easier to see what's going on in Full Screen.

I am not an expert here so I would get other opinions also, but, I would choose counties that are in your local area and where you plan to invest and build your business, and where you are familiar with. In time we will be getting the opportunity to add other counties/buyers lists for a small fee. So if you plan to expand into other areas or need more resources this should be a great option in the near future. Just for reference, I live in the Tampa Bay Florida area and the 2 local counties I used produced more than 5000 cash buyer names!!!
A 1% positive response.....let's just say I will be busy!

As for the virtual assistant I am inclined to go with Deans recommendation. He looks into these things very carefully and has OUR best interest at heart. I am sure there are other good systems out there but for me I would follow Deans lead and go with the tools he has set up for us. I understand we are all a little sensitive about costs right now, but once you get a few deals under your belt, a few extra dollars for a good system is a small price to pay for big, long term returns.
