I am about to call on my first property...

Ok I'm back. This house is down the street from me and has been empty for awhile. I did some research on it and their is a notice on the door that it was going to auction. I called the attorney listed there a few weeks ago, he said it was on hold and any info on the house would be through the owners.

So...
This morning I finally got the balls to call them. I don't know why I psyche myself out all the time. "Do it afraid," wrote Carol Stinson. So I did it afraid and it was funny because when I called them, the phone answered with this, "this phone does not accept solicitations, if you are a solicitor please hang up now or press 1 to continue." So I was like sh*t, am I a solicitor? Anyway pushed one and ended up talking with the owner. Nothing to be afraid of! She actually had more questions for me. I don't know if she was playing dumb or what. But it was good. She asked me how much I would pay and I said "I haven't run any numbers yet, I know its been vacant for awhile so I was calling to see if I can help." That opened the conversation a little and though I didn't get much info regarding what is exactly going on, she said she will talk to her husband and call me back. All in all there is nothing to be scared of. With so much information I get paralyzed, sometimes one has to put down the book, or get of the computer and actually call someone. The old fashion way.

Time to make some more calls!

Aloha & Mahalo! Enjoy.

I'm new to the family, although I've had the site for a while I just very recently started getting involved. I want to get to know everyone and make friends with my same interest. I'm currently building a buyers list, if you have any pointers on how to build one without having to travel-at the moment I don't have a car-I would really appreciated. Thank you and I hope you've had success and your family is well.
