No the buyers list does not have email addresses but it does give you their mailing address. I suggest mailing them a post card with your info. I have provided the post cards that I use in the Done For You Marketing section of the SFL system.

For Example if I find a person who has purchased multiple properties how do you know which address to mail the postcard to I looked in propertyshark.com to find the address to mail the postcard to do you think that would work.

CHECK THIS OUT....

Go to your lead pipes and bring up your cash buyers.
Now put a check mark on "type" at the top left to select them all
Click on "save selected leads"
Now click on rehabbers ( this is where I save them)
Now click "save"

Now go to your buyers tab and click on "Rehabber" Your list should be saved in there.
Click on the property address you want to see and BAM!!!! The buyers address is there for you!

You will see the property address as the name and then below that is the buyers address... HOW"S THAT FOR AWESOME!!!!

No need to search for the buyers address it is already in the SET FOR LIFE SYSTEM!

Absolutely! Go to Marketing then click "leadflow websites"
On the top left click on "set up new website"
Click " I already own the domain" then enter your domain name in the box
Click "next" and the system will take you through the rest of the set up.

I am a total GEEK when it comes to computers and i spent like 7 hours on SET FOR LIFE the first day I got it. I figured there had to be a way to access the buyers address in the system and I just kept at it till I found it... Smiling Aren't you glad I did?

1st of all I have reread your advice in Dean's book and in the SFL + videos and have found them extremely helpful...a million tks. Re: Sellers not buyers....I have looked in the marketing on sfl and all I see is postcards for sellers wanting to sell not investor buyers wanting to buy homes...can you enlighten me pls.

To bookmark this thread simply go to the first post on the thread and click "bookmark" . Also once you post on a thread it is automatically put into your DG account page. Just go to " My account" on the left to be taken to your account page.

carol you are an inspiration. I purchased sfl, however i may have to return due to technical challenges, one being me. I have been spinning my wheels and my goal of selling 2 houses in the first 30 days has not gotten off the ground, my house under contract that i had hoped to find a buyer through buyers list is on the same track and i have had no new siccesses with this new system locating house. I am not complaing, i am an adapt and overcome person. Iam determined to move my re business to the next level.. My question to use is how did you set up the partnership with yoy re agent and determine the roles each of you would have. I have a great agent who gets it as is willing to partner with me. thanks for youe input and aall the help you give

yes most definitely lol! When it comes to computers I have basic knowledge, and can type decently but no where near the geek I need to be. Thanks for figuring this out for us, we were on our way to a boatload of research.

SFL Encouragement

I want to encourage everyone who has purchased SFL System to persevere through the doubt and fear. There are many times that I am faced with the same challenges, a bad deal, can't find a buyer. But I have learned that in order to be successful I must persevere through the challenges and the fear. I must keep pushing in order to make it to the other side BROKE!

To some of you the SFL system may seem challenging and you are feeling like giving up. If you give up on SFL before you even start you are giving up on why you purchased it in the first place... To be SET FOR LIFE!

Don't give up on your dream because a few monsters stepped in... it's your dream and you are in control of the outcome!

Together we can work through some of the challenges that you may face. I am willing to help when I can as I am sure others here are too. So before giving up let's see if we can overcome the DREAM MONSTERS!

Hello Carol,

My name is Kevin Goldman and like everyone else, I am amazed and inspired by your story and those of several of the others who became such key DG people with their successes and with their techniques that have been shared with us lucky few who have the EDGE10 videos. I hope to meet you some day! Also, thank you for all that you have shared and for being here for us. No one makes you do this and we are all thankful for your visible presence.

I am just beginning (again) in REI and with SFL and I am thinking that developing a bit of a cash base and comfort for myself (i.e., completing the mundane task of paying off my bills and relieving stress!) may be the route for me. To that end, I am probably going to being by trying mostly to match buyers and sellers as you have become so successful in doing.

I am trying to stay above my fears like everyone else and to just get moving. I've done so many things already, but I wanted to ask your opinion on my approach.

I need to build my buyers list. I also (ABSOLUTELY) NEED to give myself some confidence that I will be able to do my due diligence well. At first, I was going to build the confidence for doing due diligence first and then build my buyers list, but my new approach, my gut tells me, should simply be to get the buyers list going. If people agree to be on it, I can always tell them that I will let them know as soon as I have properties available. I can work on learning due diligence in the meantime.

So my first question is 1) does that sound like a reasonable approach?

The second question (set of 3, really) is regarding due diligence. In order to know if a prospect or lead may be a good deal, one key is finding out about the mortgage(s) on that property. My second question is a three-parter. 2a) When you do your due diligence, what websites do you use? 2b) Do one or more of those sites address the question of the liens on a property (including the mortgage) on the property? 2c) Is it typically enough to look at that info on those sites before meeting with/contacting sellers with what you deem to be a good lead/prospect and have them sign the Authorization for Release of Mortgage Information form to confirm that part of the data? In wanting to try and avoid a bad deal, I want to make sure I'm not screwing myself on this particular point.

Finally, 3) what might be the top three things you think beginners are likely to miss in their first deals that could pose a big problem for them?

First Deal

Now that I have the SFL system, what should i do first? I'm fairly new at this and I still have not done my first deal. So my question is
" What do I do first" ?

I am very excited about the SFL but I'm finding myself getting a little overwhelmed and not sure of what I should be doing. I know of a couple people interested in buying but can not get the financing.

And then a couple people renting and interested in renting to own. And an investor that is ready to buy if I get them the deal they look for.I am looking forward to your response. I have been a member of the DG family for a couple years but I have not been active.

Now that I have the SFL I will be on here daily.
