My Aha moment!

Hey guys,
As you know, this weekend was Dean's live E.D.G.E. event and I must say, this surpassed any expectations I had by far, for his first live event it was first class all the way. Dean was not only a gracious host, he was genuine, down to earth, available and accessible to us. The event was held at a beautiful resort that had riding stables, a golf course, three water slides and much more... Very impressive! Dean's staff was as awesome as Dean, but of course what else would you expect, right? No surprise there, Dean only works with the very BEST and they held up to those standards! They were quite entertaining, professional, very nice, and just as genuine as Dean. As for the attendees, all I can say is I met the greatest group of people in the whole US of A! Rina was just as sweet as can be, Anita was as quick witted as she is with her knowledgeable posts. Chip and Andrea were the cutest couple, and so were Bob and Deborah by the way. Everyone was just as fantastic in person as they are on the site. No kidding! The weekend was packed with SO much great information that time flew by and the event ended before I knew it!
I learned a lot and renewed my excitement with the new knowledge I received. But I must say the Aha moment that I learned from the event was to go to several small community banks in your area, ask for the manager. Open a business checking account using your business EIN number and your corporate articles. Deposit whatever amount you can afford to your new account, then borrow it back on a secured loan. Take that money and do it again at a couple more small community banks. Make your payments in person and talk to the staff regularly, this will build your raport with the banks, but also build business credit and your paydex score quickly. Once you pay off the loans then ask for a bigger line of credit and do it again. Now I knew that you should do this with your personal credit, but it never dawned on me to do it with your business as well. I thought you had to apply for trade lines of credit to build your paydex score or pay D&B for their credit builder, NOT SO! I'd much rather use the $500 to open a checking account for my business and build my credit instead of paying someone to do it, not to mention having money from the loan. Thanks Dean! This event impacted me forever, I look forward to next year and seeing everyone on our anniversary.

Like I said, Dean has a top notch staff of the BEST people in the world working for him. I learned that from coach Nathan, he also posts here on the site. All the coaches were full of such great information on what's working today and they're more than happy to share it, so I'm happy to do the same. Eye-wink

I had used the small community bank loan idea to establish a working relationship with three (3) local banks for an individual un-secured line of credit; but never took the jump to do that with establishing a business line of credit. I'll have to add that to my short term goals and begin working on that! Smiling

I am confident that employing Dean's techniques, like each of you have, that I too will be successful. I can't wait to return to the event next year and be able to share my success with other new investors.

I keep looking at all the signatures in my book and watching the little videos I made, it's so surreal. I just chuckle at us and think what a fantastic time I had. Man, I didn't want it to end!

Hi everyone, this is Ali, I just returned from the conference and had the best time. All the people that we met are fantastic, and the positive energy is the best. I can now say that I have the confidence needed to create my strategy and put it to work thanks to all of the inspiring people that shared their success stories.
It is now my goal to be sitting on the RED COUCH next year, so I can inspire those as you all have inspired me.

Hello to all.

We just retruned from the conference and had to let everyone know what an amazing time it was. It was great to meet everyone and comforting to know that many were having the same struggles as us. Needless to say Dean was great, meeting him has just reassured us with our decision to become part of the DG family. Came home with renewed enthusiasim and ready to get those deals done. I think we may have been the only Canadians at the event and hope to meet more Canadian DG family.
Can't wait for next year to attend again.

I purchased the book profit from realestate over two months ago and set it aside never reading it until today 8/14/09. Just want to say I wish I had read it weeks ago because there is so much information in it especially for the recorded message to save the home from foreclosure. This is what people need to know and they will not feel like you are trying to take their home.

I have paid for at least 4

I have paid for at least 4 different gurus education totaling around $20K to learn how to wholesale, which in and of itself doesn't seem so hard, but what I have found in my area is; realtors have locked up all the info to reos and all the foreclosures are going back to the beneficiarys, I have gone to the auctions and found realtors are buying only a select few 95% are going back to the bank. If my buyers list is all realtors who can get info first how can I beat them? EVERYONE at the auction was a realtor they had a class for new investors i attended hoping to meet buyers,it ended up being a realtor group who had private & tradtional funding & hard money and does all the wholesaling for the buyers in town on a contract straight from the title companies and auction I am desperately needing to earn income and continue to hit block walls,HELP?? I already knew top private investor and hard money lender how can i top a company that has secured them with all the work done money verifeid titles searched and a in with the auction and beneficiarys and 100mil investor funds??
