hi everyone my name is matt feeney. ive never done this before. im very excited for this opportunity to work with dean, and his amazing teamates like all of you out there. i have just one book and have read it several times. i live paycheck to paycheck and have no vehicle because i cant afford one and my credit is aweful. i will succeed with dean!!

I'm not usually a blogger (especially when I'm supposed to be working) but I figured I'd write a little something. Maybe it will help someone out there.

These past few days have been a bit rough. I am new to investing and the DG system. I have be extremely motivated and doing everything that was taught about building a buyers/sellers list. I've posted on craiglist, interviewed a couple agents, contacted banks about REO's etc.

I have set a goal to make my first deal in 30 days. I'm almost to week 3 with no success. These past weeks have been full of emotional ups and downs. At one point I was so excited to get a list of REO's but then I hit a low when I couldn't find an investor to hand it off to. To make matters worst, the agent I thought would be helpful was anything but.

Cell Phone just won't turn on. Of course all my buyers are in the phone. Have copy of e-mail addresses. But not phone. Thank God for majic jack.

Goals for today: 1. figure out how to retrieve voice mail from cell phone.

2. Fix phone

3. Contact buyers via e-mail and give them all business #, which I should have done from beginning.

4. Learn $5 million lesson.

This is my first time doing this, and im so excited that I can't sleep at night. I've never been this motivated, and thanks to Dean's help, im finally taking my leap of faith.

I signed up and I am going to Dean's seminar! YAY! It's here in Oregon and close enough for me to get to if I have to walk or take a cab! I will get there! I'm happy now.
So I've been doing lots of networking and lots of property finding but nothing has panned out, yet. I've got people looking for properties all over the place in Salem that aren't on MLS or anything. I've been looking for For Sale signs and my kids have been looking for For Sale signs now every time we step out of the house.
Got some flyers put up on bulletin boards and working with word-of-mouth mostly.
Something's bound to happen! Something good and we aren't giving up until it does! I'm stubborn that way!
