I found a REI group online and they are having 3 men speak about wholesaling. This is in Houston (which is an hour and a half away) in April so I def. plan on attending since wholesaling is what I'm going to do. I have 10 bandit signs made but need to make more before I put them out. Will get on Craig's List today and make my ad. I've sent an email to my family members telling them what I'm doing...this was probably the hardest thing I've done so far because I fear they will think I'm crazy...but I've already heard back from one sister and it was very encouraging, thank goodness!

Been off-line for a spell. So much has happened since the last time I was on the site. Rough times with family/personal stuff that kind of put a damper on what I have been trying to achieve here. I think the trick for me is going to be to really really really commit to not giving up. A 4k investment in the "Success Academy" should be a good motivator but the mind can be a very tricky thing to not take seriously. Focus and persistence. Commitment and faith, along with action. I have found however, if you need a helping hand, you definitely can find that on this site. Such kind folks out there. Empathy, encouragement, support and inspiration. Thank you!

I called a RE agent about some acreage in my town and found out about another property, also acreage. I then talked to the owner/builder of the second acreage and he said it was set up for a condominium community. The owner said he was planning on putting a condominium community in there until his 2 business partners got sick. He's already building a sub-division in Davison. He doesn't have the time right now so he wants to sell the property. It has the road(s), sewer and water in right now. It still needs gas and electricity. I talked to the zoning commissioner in town and he said everyone on the board is for it. Which is really something considering this town didn't want to get any bigger. And I've lived here for 36 years.

I got news yesterday that my buyers won't be able to close afterall. So now the property is back on the market. Totally bummed on that one.

I am now earnestly looking for PML to get my next deal going. If you know of someone that could do a deal of 90 - 120K let me know!

ok, so I ordered and received this book, just a little over a week ago.. I started reading on Tues. March 13, 2012.. I have been keeping a hand written daily journal of my process and figured i'd transfer it over to here (when I figured out how to use this.. haha). So here we go...

So I finally received my book & am very excited to get home so I can start reading it. Haha, I feel like a kid that just received a new toy...
After starting the book, I feel like it will take me forever to finish it, but; I WILL finish..!!
It is Thursday evening, and I have just finished the first section about negative people and how to deal with them.. Dean is truly awesome...!!
