Making a bid on an REO, I was told a proof of funds letter was your pre qualification. Do you ask the investor for a letter every time you want to make an offer? Seems like that would be bothersome? I found a website that would create a proof of funds letter. They say its only to be used with their company. Could you use this letter to make an offer for your investor?

How do you estimate the value of a house there are no compare ables. I'm looking at a 2/1 with 1654sf. All other houses are 3/2 in neighborhood. Is there a certain amount you deduct for an extra bedroom?

Well Turkey day is over. Got nothing but cooking and eating done but that's okay. I made dinner for my girlfriend and my neighbor who's wife has been out of the country for the past 6 weeks or so. Money is getting tighter and tighter so driving for dollars is not the way to go right now. I'm concentrating on older listings on CL to call on tomorrow.
