Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog #109 - Just in Case Your Weekend Stunk...

To make my real estate deal. Maybe about 2 years ago I bought property from American Land Grab in New Mexico. My intent was to turn around and sell it but I liked it, wanted to keep it, and use it as my alternate place in case of another storm here in Louisiana. Before I decided to keep it, my thought was that I needed to make a deal where I would earn about $15,000.00 dollars to cover my start up business debt. I still would like to do that. If I could keep my property, get another deal where the profit was the figure above or more- by the half of 2011 that would be awesome. If I don't make this mark I'll continue to owe the loan and other bills and have to figure out something that I can do to get over this obstacle! Maybe sell the one I own. But something will have to happen.

Dear Dean, it seems like I have been starting all over my whole life and I have been making Lemonaid from lemons for sixty three years why shouldn't 2011 be any differnt, the answer is yes between a little shot and a big shot is the little shot kept on shootin. Not just writing down goals, but what if it didn't happen it is an excellent plan.
I did this years ago and my goals actually started out with smaller ones and only one at a time. Found they seem to get accomplished easier and no stress. Noticed it was even fun to look at the next days goal.
You can't just write down some goals and then not take the time to do it. After writing it down, you have to put so much time aside that day to do it. Soon they just start falling into place!

What an inspiration you are! My goals are to prove to my negative family I can really do this, once I know where I'm starting out with it
I thought "bird dogging" would be one and I like all the "no money down" deals (sick of renting!) and the rents keep going up. My current income is low and that is bad so any positiveness and help out there is a great help to me.
I enjoy connecting with all my DG family and learn from them also a great deal just by reading the blogs, etc; etc.

and showing it to my family that didn't believe in me at the time maybe because no one in my family ever made anything of themselves and now, I'm the first one even though I'm starting late in my life. I know I was blessed the early morning I saw one of your shows on my TV screen and told myself I was going for it and so glad I did because I don't regret it having made the right choice like so many others did.

You're so right on. I had been trying to avoid the "pot holes" in my personal life for a long time. But, it wasn't until last year that I started to expect, face and developed a strategy to work around them that my life started to re-shape again.

I will do the same in my REI business in 2011. Thanks for always being the CARING YOU, all the help, the sharing and guidance in keeping us focused.

I cannot tell you how much of a revelation this blog has been for me. With all the set backs I have seen this last year, I took a realistic view of my life and where things are heading.Well ?? I didn't like what I saw. This last week, right around Christmas, something in the air has given me a new sense of hope swelling up inside of me that made me commit to, not only this program of yours, but to use it as a catalyst for the foundation needed in rebuilding my otherwise pretty dismal future.
After already deciding where I need to concentrate my efforts, I sat down and watched your Blog, which pretty much re-confirmed everything I had already told myself I've gotta do to have a productive new year. My goal is to have my own condo, by my birthday, in July.

Happy Holidays! Thanks Dean for the inspiration for the new year. I bought the "Think A Little Different" series and I guess I was to late to get the free website. 2011 is going to be a great year i'm joint Dean's academy an it is great eventhough i have knowledge of real estate cus i'm a referral agent(license) this info put me right directly in bussiness. Thanks! Dean for this blogs giving me a push every time. i'm almost done with the academy intensive training i finished in a month ja ja. Now i'm eager to start many transaction in january. I have my buyer list too.I want to start with a lease option, an work with investors too. Thanks Dean for those words of encoragement

I have written goals in the past but I must say, I never thought about attaching emotions to them until I read your book "Be A Real Estate Millionaire" several months ago. I revised my goals then to fit that format, and what can I tell you except it is powerful when you apply the "positive emotion (the rewards)" and the "negative emotion (what would happen if I do not accomplish the goal)." Reading the negative results if I do not accomplish a goal is very motivating.

Thanks for your uplifting words in this week's blog. I will be reviewing my goals set for 2011 to make modifications where applicable. I have already declared that 2011 will be my year of success as a Real Estate Investor.

I certainly haven't been Speedy Gonzalez, more like the tortoise. I am proud of myself for not giving up. I keep pushing myself to not let go of my dream. You always seem to say the right things about keeping your dream in sight and not letting the nay sayers discourage us. I know that with your help and the help of your staff that I can be successful. It has been slow going, but I have to keep focused on the fact that it is still going.
