Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #158 - Going Back for Seconds...

Going back for seconds is fine this time of year. You may be one of many who've been eating leftovers for 3 days now. But this week, Dean's got a message about a different kind of "leftovers."

As we steam towards the New Year, the resolutions of 2011 may be sitting in your mental-fridge...time to clear them out. Watch this week's message and get your mind right (early) for the year ahead.

Thanks Dean for the encouragement to continue no matter what. When you harped on make deals. Is that done once you have buyers or do one just go out and make deals. Should the A Team be set up first?

Nailed it ... again!

Well Dean, you are right. Can't succeed if I'm not making offers. And I'm not. Up until now, Mental stuckness - but not after this video.

Thanks again.

That darn procrastination & fear has me handcuffed.....

Like I posted on FB about this Weeks Wisdom Video! Is very inspirational! Thank you! Dean! I called Michael at the Academy or the business office? And I left a msg. He stated he was with Dean Graziosi Real Estate business. And he was looking for some people for him to help out. So I called him. Hopefully Michael will give me some help to get over the fear. It sucks I tell ya! I know I can do it. But its that what if?? Anyways, Hopefully, before 2012 I will make my first deal. I am going thru my first home purchase for me. That is a little different. But I am understanding how the closing works. & Inspections are done. I am buying a HUD home. FMV is 100k. I am buying at 49k. This occured because the bank wants it off the books. Going ok now. Dealing w/the Govt does suck however. Take care!
Roland!

Thanks for the insite

I'm going to use this info for writing my goals. I know I'm guilty of the TOO BIG goal. I'm going to conquer next year in small steps.

Thanks Dean

I'm gonna keep eating!

Lume702's picture

hehe I like that. i never thought of it that way. I guess I am eating an elephant one step at a time. My goal setting isn't very efficient yet because there are too many things that go through my mind and I'm not very organized yet but in the next couple weeks we are definitely going to hit the ground running! We have a couple LLC's set up and opened a bank account in one of them. So we are ready to make consistent abc transactions forever starting next week. We will be putting the bandit signs and 25 to 1 rule to the test. Even in a tough market like Las Vegas I hope it works because from what I've done it seems like thinking too much just makes things harder so I'm not going to think about how to avoid REO's and investors trying to sell their houses, I'm just going to submit 75 offers a month with 3 different realtors and aim to close a minimum of 3 deals a month! Wish us luck. Thanks Dean. Sometimes I feel too eager to eat the whole elephant in one bite so I keep trying to open my mouth wider and wider and not even take one bite. Like today, a lady called about our bandit signs over the weekend. She is trying to sell a million dollar home by the lake. It may be too much to handle but I'm going to find out what I can about the property. After calling the resource line and listening to your blog I know I should stick to what most of my buyers are looking for which is SFR below 150,000. Ok, well enough blabble from me. Thanks again, bye for now.

Things I'm grateful for.

Lume702's picture

Lately I have been trying to find myself as a new entrepreneur and have pushed many people away so I haven't expressed how grateful I am for things that I have. So here it is since it's hard for me to express it directly to the people themselves.
I'm grateful for all the great friends I've had my entire life. Up until a few years ago my friends have been my life. We grew up together and in many ways we were closer than family. They have given me so much happiness and love in my life I could never express how much they meant to me. But over the last few years some things happened and things changed. Over some instances I have hurt the very friends that looked at me with trust, compassion, and friendship. I hate myself for that but no matter what, I am grateful to have had them as childhood friends and they will always be someone special in my life.
I'm grateful for the wonderful family I was born into. I have always felt blessed to have such a warm, loving family. We have a large family including the extended family but I never felt the difference of extended and immediate family because everyone just loved each other and was there for each other as much as anyone else. Sometimes I feel like I need some space but overall I love my family and don't know what life I would be living without them. My parents the support and life lessons they have given me can never be repaid. Even though sometimes I feel like what I'm learning now may be out of their scope but everything they taught me in my life has made me who I am now and I am grateful for that.
My Brother. It's sad because we grew apart at a younger age because of age difference and different friends but he was always the best brother I could ever ask for. I know he will always be there for me and has always tried to give me better things that I couldn't have like taking me on shopping sprees, buying me a TV, and just being a cool brother. I don't always express it, actually pretty much never but I really love my brother and am glad we have spent this much of our lives together and wish we could always be together.
My girlfriend and partner Judy. We had a rough start, a long story I don't want to get into but I don't think I really appreciated her in the beginning or for the first couple years because of internal anger I had towards her, I don't even really know why we stuck around with each other. But I'm sure glad we did. She has grown so much over the 6 years we have been together and she has become so much greater than what I had imagined. I love having her around and am grateful to have her as my business partner as well. We are going to rock it! I don't really talk like that Sticking out tongue but it feels good to say it.
Last but not least I am grateful for the chain of events in my life that has led me to this point in time. It all started with network marketing which led to some Robert Kiyosaki videos which led to a Robert Kiyosaki Fever which led to you Dean Graziosi. I feel blessed, and I always tell Judy, it's like there is really something watching over us. I hear about people going through hard times and always running into trouble and things like that but it seems like Everything I have ever needed in my life just fell into my lap. I never ran into scam programs that cost us thousands of dollars or anything. Right from the time we started looking we always ran into the best of the best and I am really grateful for that. I'm grateful for all that you have done to provide such valuable knowledge and power to the world. I won't let you down! We are going to make it!

Hey Dean,

You are so right! I've always believed if you wait until New Year's to make a resolution you can't hit the ground running. You have to prepare ahead of time. I am in the middle of mine right now. Thanks for being a true motivator.

30 days to RE cash

I just started reading the newest book. I am planning on getting started. I also like your other blogs though the light somehow fades your writing on the left of your board. But you move and I can get the words again. I have a idea to get some rentals but need to get some cash first. I will make it. Thanks

Excellent Advice!!

Courtney's picture

I look forward to your video blogs Dean! Something you say always reinforces what I have been repeating to myself about what I am going through in my life right now. And this week I am facing walking away from a deal and losing my earnest money because I don't have a buyer (Even though I really have over 50 buyers on my list and over 20 are very qualified cash buyers.) Long Story...

But I wouldn't quit this for anything!! I mean nobody likes losing money, but I am LEARNING!!! And I am proud of that because I am getting better everyday!!! And I talk to so many people who want to do this but won't get out there and make offers, who won't make phone calls, who make excuses everyday because they are scared. And if they were to make the jump and lose their earnest money they would quit in a heartbeat and say it doesn't work. What I have learned since I started this in early March of this year is that you have to just do it, and you will learn and grow into a better person every time you take a risk and step out of your comfort zone. But most of all, be proud of what you have done so far and never let anything stop you!!

I have learned a lot from this deal and it has already helped me move to a new level!! And this week I am making 25 more offers!

Can't wait to meet you soon!!

Courtney

Instead of just selling the books or the how to, for a few to
To provide you with Great stories :)- why not change the set up

Weekly Wisdom #158

Hi Dean,

I am thankful that I can now buy soap a little before mine runs out instead of panicking. I am thankful, too, that I am able to buy deodorant and lunch for my son instead of wondering where the money would come from, or borrowing money to give him lunch. I am thankful that I could finally buy two umbrellas for me and my son to use on the walk too and from school instead of walking in the rain. I am thankful that more people are now paying attention to the needs of others and my son and I are getting a ride back from church instead of walking back the 55 minutes home. I am thankful that God has given me the strength and stamina to walk the 55 minutes to church. Also that I was successful in the Introduction to Computers upgraded course and got my certificate. I am thankful that I met a great friend who can take me to job fairs rather than my not having to go because it is too far to walk to,since I have no one to pick up my son from school. I am thankful that my son is doing much better in school, although he did great last year; he is striving to be his best. Also, that I can come to the Beaty library to send and receive e-mail messages, especially from you and your team. However, our thanksgiving in Canada was in October.
All the very best to you and your both families: business and personal, for the year 2012.

Taking In Front From Now

That is certainly the way to go. For me 2012 will be another year of opportunity for me. I have accomplished much this year, and I know next year will be even better. My next year's gift is already in the stocking. Here's to the DG family Year of Deals 2012. God Bless.

Sandra

Thanks Again Dean!

Thank you for another inspiring blog. I've been slipping back into my "life" lately and I was given another reason to hate my job Monday. I know that I have to refocus on my real estate goals and get some deals going or else I'll never get to that better place in life.
I had gotten behind with the blogs and reading the 30 Days book. So I started reading it where I left off and have gotten caught up on the blogs. I need to to make my bandit signs and get them out around the city soon. I have not given up on my dream, I just set aside for some stupid reason.
I plan to get back on track and make 2012 the year that I succeed in real estate.
Setting my goals for the next few months sounds like a great place to start. Thanks again and best wishes.

Rick
