Kids

Dean, you reminded me that my dad and I had "dates" too. We would do different stuff but always took a trip to the candy store where I got one of every penny candy. Funny. Special memories. He carried on the tradition with my kids when they were little too!(no more penny candy though) Smiling
Real Estate is what we live and breath, but our kids are to cherish and they are why we keep pushing ourselves to be our best.

Great Idea

rresnick2112's picture

This is definately a great idea. Its motivational and keeps you in check; kinda like goals with expiration dates. I always look forward to the Weekly Wisdoms, thanks Dean!!

Hi Dean

I started to think what a lucky girl your five year old is but really before I could finish the thought it came thru loud and clear that it is all part of the divine plan. Its a beautiful thing. I love Sushi too. Its my favorite and my goal is to be wealthy enough to eat Sushi every day if I want to.
Determining the mindset needed and listing the to do's for the treasure hunt is good. I like the idea. REI is never boring. It seems to me that the treasure = the deal. Then you have to know all the things required to find and secure the deal. I believe I will just apply the treasure hunt to the 30 days to fast cash and make a game board out of it. Now there is an idea - sort of like cashflow.
Thanks for another great weekly wisdom. I look forward to it each week.

Thank you Dean,

it amazes me how you're always thinking about us, even when you're spending time with your kids! I truly appreciate every bit of wisdom that you share with us to help us find ways to succeed, even making it fun! I thought that the recipe method was a great idea, since I like to bake; but who doesn't like a scavenger hunt?! what a fun idea! I am already thinking of ways to start my own 'DG rei scavenger hunt'...

Learning and progressing every day,

Hey Dean, great blog as always. The scavenger hunt idea sounds like a fun way to make things happen. Thanks for another inspiring blog. No matter what kind of day I'm having I can always come on here, forget everything, and really just feel great and feel like I have a ball of energy shoot through me.

Holiday season

Dean, These inspirational blogs are what allow me to keep my perspective. I've been struggling with getting my first deal done for over 2 years now and have come very close a number of times. Please keep them coming. Thank you so very much I know I'll get that first one very soon.
Don

What an awesome idea!!

Dean, thanks for this inspired idea. I love the idea of teaming up with someone to keep accountable. Especially around this holiday time I'm finding that I'm pushing real estate aside for christmas plays, singalongs, shopping and getogethers, etc. I'm not gonna meet my goals by putting things off. With three kids its easy to be distracted off my path. I'll be doing this for sure!! Thanks again.

Treasure Hunts

Hello Dean,
Thank you for another uplifting few minutes. The idea of a "fun" treasure hunt is great - just what is needed to progress quickly. Your book is clear and concise., and it certainly is a "treaure" hunt. This reminds me of a TV interview I heard this morning of a recently successful author who shopped her book to 60 places, and it was only on the 61st try that she found her publisher. It is always good to listen to your weekly wisdom videos - I come away feeling good.

Putting Things Off Buys Time

Tina1's picture

As always, Dean, thank you for your time! Treasure your date nights and do your best to keep them up. I was an only child and spent a lot of time with my Mom and my folks took me everywhere with them. But, once a year I went out at Christmas with just my Dad. He is 79 and I am 53-- we still do this and we enjoy it just as much as when I was 3 years old!

With my 5 children, I have never been very consistent with individual date times as I worked way too much of the time-- not good, but that is the way it is. I'm happy to say that because they all try just hard as I do that we still have enjoyable one-on-one (or two/three on one!) times quite often, and we do family dinner nearly once a week with most of us attending and my Mom making the Italian feast. I feel sooooo blessed, especially since the "kids" are 17-32 years old!

Raemarie, above said, "I'm not gonna meet my goals by putting things off."

But Raemarie, you CAN!!! (I put a twist on your comment)
That is exactly what I have had to do since I was at inner circle in September to get off my [@#%].... I have delegated and empowered others in my other business, put off time wasting, inefficient uses of my time, the dishes (hah! thank goodness I have a few kids at home for the time being) and as many everyday things as I possibly can. Putting off made taking the time for Real Estate plausible and in fact down right successful.

To all DG-ers who cannot seem to find enough time, schedule it and eliminate other things on your list and you can do it!

Thank you all,
love and wishes of wellness and abundance--
Tina

Treasure Hunt and Scheduling

Merry Christmas to all

Hello Dean
Thanks again for such a good idea once again just like every week.

Although to tell the truth I myself am beginning to feel like a "scavenger" in my efforts to find some REAL investors who will give me some criteria to start finding them Properties to assign to them.
I am one of your students and I am trying to follow your plan to the "T" and yet I am still coming up short. Now don't get me wrong I am by NO means faulting you or your program I feel that it is one of if not the most professional and well thought out programs in the world.
but for some reason I am just finding it difficult to find the buyers that I need to get the snow ball rolling yet with your "Weekly Wisdom Reports" I am finding the Inspiration and motivation to keep on keeping on and "I WILL NOT LET THE LAG DISCOURAGE ME IN THE LEAST" I know I can and will prevail in the long run just didn't think it was going to be such a long worm-up run before I started the real race.

Thanks again Dean
