Raleigh has several different sections and the pricing is extremely different between them....townhomes to mansions, blue collar to top level execs., older homes and new ones, good areas to lower income areas...very diverse. The area is home to much healthcare, BC/BS, top hospitals including Duke 1/2 hour away as well as several colleges and our Research Triangle Park for many diversified corporations like Glaxo Smith Kline. Downtown is revitalizing with many new businesses, retail, restaurants and condo dwellers interested. Our airport is centrally located and has undergone major expansion to accomodate the increased traffic.
My county, Wake, serves as bedroom communities for Raleigh with various types of neighborhoods and different pricing for each.
4.Average rents are from $1100 to 1300 for 3/2 SFH..some less, some more.
5. Average taxes on SFH of same 3/2 $1642
