Dean's List
Great list Dean. I am going to look at it and see what I can add to it that my mother always told me. It's time to go back to the good old days when everyone acutually showed respect.
Thanks Dean.
#289
Life isn't something we created it's been around since the beginning of time.
1. Thank God for every day you take a breath,it's
truly a blessing.
2. Appreciate you're love one's, even when they
blow it.(how many times have we blow it, and
said I'm sorry)
3. Encourage one another, when we're down we're
just looking for a shoulder to lean on,
someone to say don't worried I got your back.
4. When all else fails, take a deep breath look
up to the heavens and say God I really need
your guides, help me to be the person you
created me to be. For you know we better than
anyone.
I Phone 5/Quote
Don't live everyday like it's your last. I live everyday as if it was my first!
Important one
Pray everyday.
Philosophies
First, I want to thank you Dean for sharing this list with us. I'm so grateful!
If I had to add one more philosophy to the list, it would be...
"Practice giving, for it is better then receiving."
Many people give with the expectations of receiving something in return. Kharma is everywhere so what you do to others will come back to you regardless. So, go out there and give something to someone out of the kindness of your heart and feel how good that makes you feel to bring joy to someone else.
One of my philosophies . . .
Be open to receive all that the Universe has to offer.
Be thankful for everything!
I would also add to have a grateful heart and to start each morning off with 20 reasons why you are grateful and thankful!
Teach your kid's about Credit....
I teach my little brother about credit, and how to turn credit in to wealth. And how credit works.
teach your kid's abut credit why there are still young, So they will know about credit when they get older.
Thank you,
Steve Roberts
wisdom #289,input
Thank you Deans as always yr there for us. These are a few things that might help the list.
1) YOU CAN'T GO BACK & CHANGE THE PAST,SO LOOK
TO THE FUTURE & DON'T MAKE THE SAME
MISTAKE TWICE.
2)TALK WITHOUT BAD INTENTION. GIVE WITHOUT
ANY REASON.AND MOST OF ALL,CARE FOR PEOPLE
WITHOUT ANY EXPECTATION.
What I would like to add is...
Treat others as you'd expect to be treated.
★★★ I would like to add to the list ★★★
Always take Action Today, because Tomorrow might be too late.. In other words never leave for tomorrow what you can accomplish Today.. I always say this to my 3 kids..
I always say this to myself when I feel like quitting.
Winners will find the ways, losers will find excuses.
Life perspectives
Animals are god's creatures too. They can be a great source of joy and love. Be kind to them.
WOW!!!!!
It appears that many of us have been raised with the same philosophies. I was hoping to show my "uniqueness" with my addition to your list but I have seen what I would have written in many other posts. But that's okay
Once again, another weekly wisdom full of life lessons. I'm sure that one day, Dean, your kids will look back at you and your life and see what a great person you are/were and the impact you made on so many of this world. You should be proud of that. By involving your kids with the DG family now, it can give them a sense of "the bigger picture" that will happen in their lives in the future and I believe not only should that be required of all adults but that we deprive our kids if we don't teach them of the bigger picture. What is today does not have to be tomorrow. Every child should know that.
So in order to not repeat what has already be written, I would like to add the following:
My Dad was an avid fisherman so it only follows that I too became one. Some of the best places to catch fish are not easy to get to or even seen by many people. My Dad took me to or showed me many of these places. They are areas of the world with the most pristine surroundings. Environments that need to be protected from development. If you can tell your children only one thing, it needs to be that not every inch of land needs to be developed. Take what you need but you have to leave the rest. Don't take it all. As we are seeing in the oceans and jungles today, the greed of our pasts is rapidly catching up with us. Mother Earth has a way of fixing things. That has been seen before. She wipes the slate clean and starts over from scratch not discriminating between who or what is to move forward. Teach your children to not be the catalyst to this event.
On our drive out to the EDGE this year, Amanda convinced me to take the roads less traveled, which I did. I stopped at a number of places along the road to take pictures of the native flora and fauna of AZ, NM and TX. ( Amanda thought I was nuts. lol ) What struck me most was the enormous amount of garbage that was on the sides of the roads. Is this a case of "out of sight, out of mind?" How can we as a society, allow for this to happen to our homeland? How can we expect to live a long and healthy life if we live in a world filled with trash and making our environment toxic? Yes, we should be kind to one another and help those who need it but we need a base to draw from. A trash heap is not a good base from which to draw strength. The glimmer of hope was that one flower I would see, desperately trying to bloom amongst the heaps of trash and dead plant life that surrounded it. I can only hope that those plants do survive even tho the evidence around them does not support that outcome. That those plants are the start of a new way to live and not the victim of the life as it is. Our children need to be that one new flower or plant. As any good farmer knows, life comes from the manure that's left before it. There's a lot of manure out there already. It's time to plant some new seeds.
Sorry again for the long post. I look forward to your next WW.

Develop and learn to use
Develop and learn to use your intuition when making decisions.
Addition to your awesome teaching list
I love what you are teaching your children and I have picked up a few pointers also. One thing I have learned in life and was recently reiterated by my financial planning group was to make a decision by first asking God, in Jesus Name, what to do. I have been learning the hard way that I need to ask questions from the One who has all the answers. After all He created the universe and me; he knows what is best-- so why not just ask.
Make Everyday Count for Something.
Before you lay down at night. Make sure you have done everything in your power to become one step closer to your Dreams. And making the next day better than the current.
Quote: " I will do today what others want, So I will have tomorrow what others don't."
NEW ADD ON'S
DEAN, YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AN INSPIRATION AND I DO AGREE WITH YOUR WAY OF BEING A PARENT AND RAISING YOUR CHILDREN. MY ADD-ON'S
WITH KINDNESS AND RESPECT BE HONEST WITH A PERSON ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE WRONG AND CELEBRATE WITH THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS ALWAYS.
My quote
Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen.
My Addition
"You can't love and respect others until you love and respect yourself."
Thanks Dean for all you do for us!
Philosophies
This is one from my list:

This is really nice
Hi Dean,
This is what I always tell my children but i never thought about making a list like this. Thank you for inspiring us.
Here is my addition:
Be thankful to GOD
Have a discipline to do the right thing.
The definition of discipline is to say YES, when you don't want to or say NO when you want to, because you know it is the right thing to do.
Thanks again.
Dean, nice list even Kylie loved it.
love is your strongest asset and fear is only an obstacle to be Conquered -

GREAT LIST!!
Hi Dean
Thank you very much for sharing the list with us. I also want to add: 1) Blessing & Abundance come from giving 2) To FORGIVE is to FORGET!
3) "Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do" by St. John XXIII. I love this quote and we read it everyday.
God Bless
