Weekly Wisdom

Dean,

I love your Graziosi Philosophies. Thank you for sharing them.

I would add, "Attitude is everything".

Addition to Dean's List

TinaScott's picture

Thank you so much for sharing this, if I were to add another item to his list would be:

Do something for someone that's nice and helpful and don't tell anyone you did it. Only God knows what we do.

Always pray before making a decision and ask what God wants you to do.

Give thanks to God before you thank anyone else, he is the one in control of our lives, it's our job to follow God's direction.

Never go to bed upset, settle issues before bed.

* Imagination is greater than knowledge

* Grab life and take it by the horns!

* Don't invite your Anti Muse.

* Never lose sight of our resourcefulness.

* Let your adversaries fuel your courage.

* Life is a stage. Create, act and craft the part we want in the play.

* Be happy with nothing.

The List

Great list to live by as is a checklist to stay alive aloft. Another possible additions to the list.

Be HAPPY! Happiness comes from your heart and what you make of it.

hello

For me it is seeking wisdom for all areas of life and how God best wants to use me for His Glory. And of course that includes business.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." James 1:5-6

Graziosi Philosophies suggestion

Dean,
Thank you for sharing your family with us! I am going to suggest your Philosophies to my children and children's Children.

My suggestions are:

In addition to "being polite and say hi with a smile while at the same time looking in their eyes, not down and away." I would add Always offer a firm handshake.

Also, the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do to you"

Think twice before you speak!

These are some of my families philosophies.

Have a GREAT DAY!!

Weekly Wisdom add ons

Hi Dean
Your philosophies are great and ones that we all can benefit from. The only thing I personally would add to my list is:

1. Be thankful for the blessings God has given you and be a blessing to others as well.

2. The secret to living abundantly is to be giving abundantly.

(Luk 6:38) Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.

Most people miss out on this wisdom because it goes against all logic. God's math doesn't make sense but it works all the time.

Thank you Dean for your continued support and mentoring. Your belief in all of us is evident and makes a difference to all.
Blessings
Dean

Adding to your list

I would add:
Always believe that you deserve good things to happen to you.
Always take time to listen when someone is talking to you so you don't miss life's lessons and you give them respect.
Thank you Dean for being such a great inspiration and showing us that you don't just teach it or preach it, you live it and give it. You are a becoming the guru that you have a hard time accepting as a title. It just means that you have gained a lot of knowledge and you are willing to spread it around and share. The world needs more Dean Graziosis' Love ya dude!!!

Treat others the way YOU would like to be treated.

sophyphilo

Philosophy is the love of wisdom...
When untwisted you get:
sophyphilo or the wisdom of love. Our maker does not have a name but a reputation...YHWH...if you translate this from the pictographic Hebrew you may find it means;

"Work Thee And Thee"

The "thee" can be our maker or someone in his image. I find the meaning to be the definetion of friend.

I do not have cell receiption were I live so give the ipod to someone else.

I just wanted to pass along a litte sophyphilo.

Philosophies

Discipline is choosing what you want most over what you want now.

Dean, Thank you for that

Dean,

Thank you for that great weekly wisdom! You have a great list there. I really tried to limit myself to just ONE but the best I could do was to offer you the top FOUR things I wish I had known long before now.

- "Your limits are only what you imagine them to be."

- "We don't have the right to waste who we are and the gifts that we've been given."

- "Comfort, that stealthy thing that enters the house a guest, and then becomes a host, then a master. And then it becomes a tamer, and with a hook and whip it makes puppets of your larger desires." ~ Kahlil Gibran, Poet

- “Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Choose your words, for they become actions. Understand your actions, for they become habits. Study your habits, for they become your character. Develop your character, for it becomes your destiny.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

I already have the iPhone 5 and don't want another one – but I wanted to send you these anyway.

Thanks for all you do!

Daily Post Comment

Dean,

Thanks for reminding us to be the best we can be & to share w/those we love. The one thing that I would add because I struggle w/it daily is: "don't put off today, what you know you won't do tomorrow." I catch myself daily, having to consciously remind myself to act now & make time to do something that I know is important & that if I procrastinate until tomorrow then more than likely it won't get done.

One of My Core Values & Daily Philosophies Add On

Get Fit! Stay Fit! Take care of your body and it will serve you well!

Affiliating with the Dean Graziosi Family really is one of the best things I do. I love that you believe and teach in being fit as well. Health is wealth!

I had the pleasure of attending a presentation of one of the women on that plane that landed in the Hudson River a couple of years back. One of her final wrap up comments was, take care of yourself and get fit. You never know when it will serve you. I can also personally attest to that in having to swim for it in Hurricane Katrina. And it really does make a difference in your day!

Thank you, Dean

Hi Dean,

What I taught my girls:
"Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Don't do anything you will regret later."

It was especially important for them to understand this during their teenage years and under a lot of peer pressure to do things contrary to our family values.

Hi Dean!

Great idea to post philosophies where they can be seen daily.

Here are few of my favorites:

- Batter isn't cake until it's cooked (you have to follow all the way through to get results)

- The minute that just passed it gone forever, but the dollar you spent can be made again. (Your time is more precious than money)

Thank you Dean for everything you share with the world, you are making it a better place.
