I bought the Insider Elite on Sunday. So far it is a ghost town. I am very frustrated by the site.
I have tried to connect with many people but so far no response yet. I sent emails and no response. I ask the experts a question and no response, however, that one did say allow a week, so okay maybe on that one.
I also tried to schedule a coaching session but it is full.
I have tried to download some learning materials and they don't show up, guess I have to call tech support. I have used the chat and only newbies on talking about things not relevant to getting deals done. I would love to say I love it, but at this rate I will not keep it.
I am going to give it a little more time, but really I don't like the site at this point.

I also don't like the fact that this site was supposed to be corrected of spam, but all along they were only working on a paid site. Why not be upfront about it?
I know I will get flack for saying so, but this is really frustrating that people are leaving this site for the paid one, but I seem to have better responses on here than in the ghost town.

One of the programs on IE would take forever just to go through it all, so I didn't touch it. I actually heard mention of that program (set for life) watching a video on IE saying you could find buyers with it. I have no idea what that is all about. I googled it and found nothing useful.
I understand dean is a business man and many people bought the program, so that was surprising to me. It is not really a few elite. I didn't even want to browse through all the names of which most did not even have a profile pic up. Thank you for your two cents! sign me, Frustrated!

Tammy,
I would like to see a forum feature on there similar to here. It would make it seem less of a ghost town. But if you really look at how many check in's there are every day, there's about 400. And you can only use it once per day, so that means at least 400 people are actually using the product every day.
If you can't ask a question or get yours answered, you might want to look at the questions already answered by the experts, maybe you'll find one that resonates with you!
We got the product for three main things: Networking, Marketing our deals, and the unlimited Education.
The only thing I want to see improvements as of right now on is the messaging system. It doesn't thread all of the messages together, so you are scrambling around to figure out what you said in your previous message. And it also doesn't tell you which deals people are replying to.

Another note is that you can search for people who ONLY have profiles filled out, or you can search for people who have what you need, or need what you have.

I did not purchase the IE program myself so I do not know any details. I would say that taking a little time to get up and running would be normal. I would also say that on the chat side of things Newbies WILL be what you encounter most of the time. Real players are out taking action, not chatting.
I also must say that the best and most useful education is gained by taking action and trying to put properties under contract and then execute your exit strategy. You can only get so much theory and motivational speeches before you take action.
1. Multiple offers daily. Through your agent and to unlisted sellers that you have gotten through your marketing.
2. Have the capability to close. I.E. have a good buyers list of REAL buyers and hard or private money lined up if you plan on fix/flip or fix/hold.
That is it really.

I also purchased for the same reason as you. I also note the people using, but their is no interaction. you can only ask a question once a month, and the coaches schedules are already full. There are a lot of people on and seems like a lot of newbies, so it is great for them. I am just not really seeing the need for it.
Also looking at properties has it split into looking by catergories, but when the link comes up everything is still lumped together. Not seeing the point of that, either. For example, recent deals are mixed in with closest deals, my deals, etc and you therefore then do not know what are the recent deals. I guess that is a bug to be worked out.
Michael I got cha! Buyers I am working on and trying to make offers, but they have to make sense. I guess I am still new to figuring out just what makes a good offer. I can't just whilly nilly put out offers. But I see what you are saying, and that is my focus right now.

Tammy- As you know this site is fairly new and even though our team spent countless hours on the site testing features and functions, there are still bugs we expected to happen but needed a bigger audience to start using the site before we were able to locate all affected areas.. Right now we should have just about everything that is not working properly with the site and our programmers are working as fast as possible to resolve it..
As for your question, you are correct questions can take up to a week to be answered depending on the backlog. Regarding scheduling a life coach appointment, the only two coaches that are not available right now is Randy Bailiff and Chris Strickland. Their schedules are full at the moment but when some sessions free up, you will be able to schedule with them. However, besides Randy and Chris, we still have 4 more AMAZING life coaches; Kim Thurman, Marianne Johnson, Shawn Alden and Kelly Maness.. All of these coaches have multiple slots available..
Dominic- We do have this on the to do board as well. As we start to get these minor much needed bugs fixed, we will be working on improving the site even more than what it is already capable of doing.. Along the way improving the networking feature, chatroom, and other cool features.
Wanted IE to stand apart from DG, not taking any of it's valuable information or people away from it but we wanted to focus IE on group support and networking.. Yes you are correct live chat right now is a little slow but we have daily group chats with experts, hot-seats with students who need help and much more planned and will me implemented into the site within the next week. IE will evolve just like everything Dean created and the only reason why we are behind is because due to the flood of people who came in all at once.. We are working through it and when the site starts humming, nothing will stop it!
I apologize for the issues everyone has been experiencing so far but please know our team is working as fast as possible to fix it. Dean has a lot planned for this group and we're very excited for what is to come
Hello everyone,
Question about pre-foreclosed:
I have list of pre-foreclosed homes with name of owners and I plan to go visit as much as I could and negotiate with the sellers to sell their homes before the schedule auction.
I have one house for example: Current value is $135K and owner still owes $192. I am thinking of offering to buy it for $100K and wholesale for $105K. What will happen to the difference between $100K and $192K? Do I have to negotiate it with the bank to give to me for that amount? How do I go from here? Who should I be dealing with, the owner or the bank? If I can get some clarification on here, it will be thesame for the others.
In your experience, will be it hard to assign property with this kind of scenario?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!
Shirley
DGadmin, I understand that in the beginning there are issues with everything. Why then not give a discount instead of having everyone rush in to pay when there were problems with the system since the beginning? We are paying you and you are not compensating us for our feedback.
Joseph
Tammy, I really advise you to take a look at all of the Inner Circle: Firesky videos. I could sit here and help you, but I feel those videos have more than enough information on how to get started putting offers together and start wholesaling

And DG Admin, thanks for the feedback! I know Makeba already contacted you about that. So I wansn't too worried about it. Just a little annoying for now, but oh well!
Dominic

Shirley, that is considered a short sale. For your first deal I would stay away from short sales because you just need that one wholesale deal to give you proof of concept. Although it is possible to make money on short sales, its just a little harder.
I would focus on desperate sellers with their homes paid off. One third of all the homes in the US are owned free and clear, so it's not impossible. Just keep looking!
And for future reference, if you want a question answered, please make your own thread instead of replying to someone else's. It will help you get a better response plus avoid interrupting someone else's problem/question.

These videos are 2nd to none, it's all been said before but just goes that little deeper just hearing dean and Matt talking to members in the room feels like they are talking to you, already given the kick up the ass that I needed. Also I agree as I have sent messages to people in close proximity to me and received no reply that's there loss and my gain.
Tammy - I never usually answer posts like this personally. I just take in constructive thoughts, get them to my team and improve where things are needed. It's how we are always growing and as siting... Yes there are a few things we need to tweak and update with IE.. But out of the 1000 things we created for our IE members there are only a handful of tweaks. I have to say it like it is Tammy, you were negative about IE before you even joined, I saw your posts, so I'm not sure why you joined. And for you to say you googled about my Set four life system and read that there was nothing in it?? Sooo wrong to say. Don't say that to the army of people who have had massive success from that system. You can always find negative words if that is the mindset you are in and what you are searching for...
I created DG.com for all students to connect, share and to get feedback to always be improving. And to share wisdom, knowledge and direction for free to get people on the path to success. It has achieved that and surpassed my wildest dreams. I love DG and it will always be here for those purposes
Now I've spent a year thinking through the things that can get my students to overcome the years of negativity, supply them with next level thinking, skills, wisdom and outside the box thoughts that can allow them to achieve all they desire.
So when I see comments like yours, that I know for sure have not been thought through and how it can discourage those who need a push - it is frustrating. To say going through "one of the programs alone on IE would take forever" show me exactly where your mindset it. Thats not fair to say when just one of those programs can help someone else get on the path to their first deal.
So i give you a challenge Tammy... Take a week off from being negative about what is in front of you. Dive in to IE. Make a life coach appointment. Join a group chat we are doing next week. Ask an expert a question. Watch matt and I at one of our masterminds and find an investing friend close to you.. This site was built for people like you. You don't realize it but you are approaching this with the glass half empty mindset. And if reading this annoys you then I'm definitely right.
Jump in for two weeks and if you don't feel better or you think IE isn't all i say it is. Let our staff know an i will gladly refund 100% of your money an keep all the bonuses..
Have a great day
Dean

Hey Tammy,
please go back to be the happy positive girl you used to be,everything is going to be better, I promise.
I just had my first coaching session. It was great! They are helping us with goal setting and pointing our mental attitude toward success.
Expect great results, do your best, be greatful and the rest will fall in place.

Everyone that has posted in this thread regarding IE has made valid points. Tammy, I agree with some of your concerns about the site. I too bought an IE membership on Sunday and I have been checking in everyday so far to get a feel for the site. I to also feel a lot more isolated on the IE website vs. how intimate and connected I feel on Dean's free site. I was a little dissapointed in the limited options for the life coaches as well, but I guess once the pandemonium dies down we will have more options and the ability to try out different coaches until we find a good fit. The glitches and technical bugs I have encountered with the site are understandable for a brand new site, but I must say there were a few more than I expected,(especially when I thought I heard Dean mention that this site had already been pre-released to a pilot group of some of his Insider students). Maybe I simply misheard him. I was hoping to feel more connected to a more experienced group of DG superstars when logging on to IE and I am not as of yet getting that warm cozy feeling.
On a good note, I agree with Dominic in regards to the amount of information there is available on the site. To have all those resources in one location and at the tips of your fingers is awesome. And I do like the daily wisdom pieces. They are short, to the point and very informative. I also viewed a prior webcast recording of Dean and Mark Fern that was very good, and that is just one video out of the many on this site. It is great to be able to log into this site daily and get my study on!!!
As Michael has stated, this site is just one more tool in our toolkit and should not stop us from going out and TAKING ACTION! At the end of the day no amount of knowledge or advice is going to get us closer to the prize we are seeking if we don't start utilizing it by getting out there and making offers. The best teacher is experiencing failures and successes! Hopefully a lot more of the latter!!
I know the IE site is a work in progress and I can see the good intentions and hard work that went into creating it for us. I know the DG team is working hard to perfect the site as well.I feel like the site does have a lot of good qualities right now and how it also has the potential to be really great in the future and I just hope it lives up to it. The cost of the membership pales in comparison to the resources provided on this site and is just a small fraction of the wealth that will be pouring in when we crush it in real estate!!!
Thanks again,
Shirley
I will PM you directions as to how to start a new thread.

for taking the time to answer the post. Although I don't totally agree with you, you are right that I had some negativity before joining. I did join after the webinars as you had me sold on the need for it. I will give it some more time as you have suggested.
My post about the set for life was not that there was nothing in the program, but simply that I couldn't find anything about the program, so that was a misunderstanding. I've just reread my post above and see how I worded it wrong and so, I should have said I found nothing on the program.
I am sorry I was negative about the new site, but it was my honest feeling about my own experience. I have asked an expert and sent emails, but still waiting for a reply. I will do as you say and join the chats if I am available. I do hope this system will be all that you dream it to be. I thank you for this DG.com site, as it has been really inspirational for me. I also agree that the new site is a good price for an education. I will still give it a chance, for that is why I joined in the first place. Thank you again for addressing this post.
Thank you also for allowing me to remain on this site. I do appreciate it!

Dean, I seen you had posted, somewhat surprised, and I like what you said.
as soon as i had watched all 4 vids and seen the package and the cost, I threw my pontton up for sale for I was unable to spare the money for the 2 payment options.... it came down to the last day, and no takers on the pontoon thought now might not be the right time for me. THEN the 3rd payment option became available. Hesitant at 1st, little self debating for the 1st payment would nearly empty my bank account, i told myself if i do this, I am in and there is no turning back.... I joined and in the 1st night I read the whole "30 days to real estate cash" Yesturday I found my realtor and just waiting on matirial i had requested!
Regardless if there people are active or not on there, the cost of becoming a member is minimal to the cost of what all the products and training would be if purchased individualy!
So far I am happy with becoming a member. Hope to actually start doing somthing with all this knowlage!

Karen I don't know if you can help me, but if you don't mind will you help me by giving me directions on "how to start a new thread"?.
I will certainly appreciate it.
Thank you again, Adamina.......
I have to say that I am not experiencing all the problems you are on the site. In truth, just the coaching alone is worth the price of admission but the resources available to us are amazing and you should take a bit more time to see what's on the site before complaining. As for the group chat, I made a new connection on my first attempt at using it. I go to the chat room and leave it open ( as Dean suggested) and am alerted to when people post on it or join the group. I suggest you try different times of the day to see who's on and when as I have not found an empty room since I started going to it.
Take Dean's challenge and really work the site. It takes some work on your part. I still haven't found everything I am looking for because I am so entranced by what I do find (and didn't know was included)during the search that it's okay that I didn't get to my destination yet. I've just learned more along the way. And all that learning will come in handy while I am DOING and taking action.
I hope it all works out for you

But did anyone else feel like a little girl meeting Justin Beiber when halfway thru this thread you saw Dean himself respond?
I love the DG site so much, and Im so grateful for the wealth of knowledge it offers. I wish I could've enrolled in IE, but it just wasn't an option right now. Of course we all wonder what its like.. from what I've read in other threads, IE and SFL are both incredible and well worth the $$. Tammy, please check back in after a week or so and let us know if you have a better experience! Many of us seek the negative to avoid having to take action.. I'm probably the worst procrastinator I know. But all it takes is that first deal to change all of that for good. Good luck, and I hope it works for you!

Tejanita and Karen,
wow! I am in awe too!
Tammy,
The IE is loaded with all of Dean's products, and then some, and it gives you Daily Wisdoms with nuggets of information from his successful students, and access to schedule appointments with the life coaches (there are 6 coaches available, but there's no way that everyone will be able to get the one coach; if you can't get the coach that you like, either wait until he/she is available, or choose another one; you may get pleasantly surprised with what they can offer you, but you won't know if you don't give it a chance); it's all meant to help keep you focused, motivated, and to keep the negativity out of your mind, but it's still up to every individual to think, decide, and take action in whatever strategy he/she feels best suits his/her situation at this time.
The SFL is a program that provides a list of cash buyers for your counties (you still have to send out letters to contact them, etc.), and has tools to evaluate repairs (you still need to enter information for each property), keep track of your prospective deals (you have to enter them) has templates for your website, but again, it only provides tools that you can utilize to increase your productivity.
Every single tool that Dean provides is meant to simplify or minimize our efforts to access information and strategies that he or his successful students have used, and so that we avoid making mistakes that others have already made.
It is still up to each and everyone of us to go out and put into action what we learn, and do it exactly like it's given to us, and we can succeed, just like other students have succeeded.
IE is not like this site, and I don't think it's meant to be like it; otherwise, this site would become obsolete! which I believe was one of your concerns in another thread...
This site is awesome! The interaction among experienced investors and new investors, all the deals that are posted, the journals to keep yourself accountable, the threads with so much great information... it is just incredible!
As Michael stated above, most successful students aren't around chatting, they are busy getting deals done. Time is very valuable, and no matter what we do, we can not get more than 24 hours every day; I especially have to be mindful of my time because I have a 40 hr job, so any time outside of that, I'll be working on a deal, planning or discussing my next deal, or learning something to get more deals.
I also try to come to this site as often as I can to read posts and help answer questions from new investors or point them in the direction where they can find the information... and of course, to congratulate people on their new deals!
There are many students here who have been part of the DG family for a long time, reaching and surpassing their goals; there are also many new students here, full of enthusiasm and dreams, learning DG's strategies, reading his books and the posts here, signing up for courses, getting ready to take action; and then there are many other students here who are learning all the theory, but are not taking action because of their fears, and eventually they leave... without succeeding... those are the ones that Dean wants to help the most, to help them kill the villain within themselves! and I believe that is what the IE is meant to do, to encourage everyone to keep pushing past their obstacles (we all have them!), to never give up, to give it your all to reach your goals!
Wishing everyone great success,
Valerie

I didn't mean to sound so harsh. I also note that it looks like I was ranting up at the beginning, but some where replies, that others decided to delete after posting.
I am giving this a fair go, and perhaps I did complain too fast. I did also complain before joining, because I believe we kept being told the site (I think most assumed this site) would get better. That was my compliant, but it is free, so I guess I have no right to complain about it.
I did pay for the new site and again I will give it a chance to work for me. I again am sorry to Dean and everyone who took great offense to my earlier comments.
