I guess I will be the first to wish Megan and Deans whole team a happy and safe holiday and thank them for all the work they do behind the scenes to make this site and all things here possible for us to benefit from.
Richie.
I for one know they do a ton of stuff behind the scenes, that never gets applauded. Hats off to the entire DG staff and a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.....Jan

I recently inherited about $200K from my mom's estate. Not sure whethere to invest in multiple mid-level properties or one higher end property.
Right now, I am inclined to purchase a mid-level lakefront home in a private gated community (Doe Valley, Brandenburg, KY). Have negotiated a price of $295 (minus the $6000 tax write-off for main home upgrade) for nearly an acre with 230 feet frontage which has the potential of being our retirement home.
I know that I could probably have more short-term gain from buying several homes with the money but don't think I can go wrong withlakefront either.

My family and I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy

Hi Steve, It will be better to open a new post for your question. You will get better responses. All the best.
