Please give feedback on my new website

www.1stcallhousebuyers.com

It may still have a little editing to be done, but it's mostly finished. If anyone is looking to have a site build I highly recommend the person that did mine. he made it effortless.

Looks Great

Would love to get the contact infor of the web builder if I could cause Im thinking of have one. great web and easy to follow

Nice site

Bright and easy to navigate.

If anything, add your hours by your phone number under 'contact us', especially if that's your home phone.

Have your designer make their "Design by PWS" line a link to their site.
Maybe an affiliate link for you so you can make some extra cash on the side every time somebody uses their services through your site.

Only Ugly?

Not meant as a criticism - but wouldn't you buy a house if it wasn't so ugly as well? I think a lot of people wouldn't want to classify their house as Ugly - I would highlight other scenarios as well, unless you really are just targeting beaters.

There's a good bit of other investors that call their business "We Buy Ugly Houses". Do a google search. It's good to criticize the house but, not the person.

Yes there are a lot of "ugly house" buyers

In fact an entire franchise uses this phrase. Another reason to find a uniques approach. Many sellers do want their house criticized.

I'm guessing that it attracts homes that need repair. Maybe homes that aren't really that ugly.

Gena

My business is currently centered around flipping and wholesaling. Some people with a really run down house may think no one wants it except for the guy that advertises " we love ugly houses". I do love ugly houses because that's often where the value is. A very motivated seller that may have a vacant house will probably be happy if I call the house ugly as long as I buy it.

My business is called 1st Call House Buyers, but some of my advertising targets ugly houses.

Great Job!

The site is very simple and easy to navigate. I agree with travisderod, if you added more forms to gather information, that would probably be a plus. Sometimes people would like to send email rather than call.

Thanks.

Very Nice!

Straight to the point...

Not a lot of fluff...

Job well done!

GLF-

I like it.

Very nice job.

I actually have a question about sites like this that market to buyers as well as sellers. I am wondering if there is a negative effect from the sellers seeing you marketing for investor-buyers. I was thinking I would be better off with separate sites for each. One to get leads, and one to get buyers.

I'm not trying to hi-jack the thread but just thought maybe Mark and the rest of you might have some experience to share on that subject. Does it hurt your lead gathering when they can see the other side of your business?

I have seen sites that actually advertise the properties for sale on one page while asking sellers about their house on another.

Hello, Mark.

I am direct to the VP of a $100 million dollar open-ended debt and equity fund which actively writes checks to fund businesses with an EBITDA of at least $1 million a year. We fund also have access to up to $500,000,000 for the purchase of distressed real estate, specially commercial $7,500,000 and up.

Steve

I know where you're coming from, I've contemplated that myself. But for me I prefer to keep it as simple as possible and more sites is more for me to mess with. Also, I feel that the sellers that are truly motivated aren't going to care much about the other info, they just want someone to give them some options. Not to mention, I am upfront about my intentions with the sellers anyway and they know that I am an investor and have investor connections... If I get asked to look at a house and it's not something I want to flip I will tell the seller exactly what I will be doing as a wholesale. Sorry about the ramble.

great!

Your web looks great, just like Mark K suggested "add your hours by your phone number under 'contact us', especially if that's your home phone." It would be perfect. I respect your courage and action.

everyone

Thanks so much for all the kind words. I think I will have him build a facebook fan page for me soon also.

Very nice. and

professional. Will you be adding an email address to the contact info? Also re-enforce your company name by adding it to the text of each page, or wherever you can work it in. Love the name, by the way.
