Shane I admire the way you are making it happen, your persitence will win the battle for you and pretty soon you'll be knocking down deals left and right. It's the hardest to close that first deal because the enemy knows that after that first one, your confidence will shoot through the roof, and he knows you can't stop a confident man that knows what he wants. Keep pressing, God has a big blessing in store for you and a great future.

Im here Im here....just like a fish out of the water right now in terms of REal Estate Investing. OF course Im not proud to say this but I have been taking absolutely no action at the start of this year.
Ironically I have been helping my wife launch and structure a cake business which I have been using Dean's teachings in regards to marketing. Fliers, business cards, website, power team, etc. Its been working out very well for her especially considering that she lost her J.O.B. I actually help design her web-site and you can check it out if Im allowed to post this www.ahpieceofcake.com She has a strong passion for what she does with the cakes so I know she will make it.
I will dive back into the water of Real Estate but I had to come out and take a breather for some reason. I have fun marketing those cakes for wifey because we have been seeing immediate results in terms of that "Dolla Dolla Bill Yall" but with real estate I have not seen the money yet so a lack of passion took over my bodily functions like a virus. I have been taking my antibiotics in the mean time so I look to be over this sickness sometime soon. Speaking of that I have a 46second voice mail on my 1-800 telecenter so we will see what surprises we have in store.

Dont feel down or sorry for me anyone please and dont judge your perfomances or outcomes by mine. Its all up to YOU and the lifestyle that I want is out there for the taking, I just have to get off of my A** and go get it.

Hey Dino...Building that buyer's list is actually not as hard as it may seem. I met one of my buyers by simply judging his actions and the car he was driving. Of course this is not a sure way but hey whatever works. One way is to call ads in the newspaper of landlords renting our their property. A lot of these owners have multiple properties and use real estate to earn a living. Another great way to meet buyers is through REI clubs. Real Estate is one of the most sound investments you can make so if you happen to know anyone with some extra cash maybe you could even show them light through REI. I wish you the best and keep on keeping on!

hey shane glad to see you posting again. Its ok to take a breather sometimes to recoup your energy and srat fresh again. Sounds like wifey has got something going! I will give you a tip, Tell her to look into places that do B-day partys for kids like Mc donalds, fun zones and places like that. even VFW Halls where people rent the hall. They may want a cake made and delivered for them. Think outside the box on places that you may be able work with that dont do their own baking on premises.

Elix my man...Im still here. I check my email everyday. If you still have anymore of those treats or if you ever come across anymore, I will more than happily take them in like a kid in the candy store. All you have to do is keep them coming my way. I still have buyers who ask me for properties up until this day. I can readily get those dilapadated, fixer uppers props off of your hands. Consistently send them my way and we will see what happens.

I liked the example you gave of observing someone by their dress and car. Things like that teach us to be alert. Everyone has to live somewhere.
Ya never know where your next contact will be found. I live in a town that is in a county with only a few more people than attended my high school. The local convience/gas stations are the 'internet' for info. I have met two prospects in the local store just by stopping in and chatting. Could have had a third but I didn't have my cards yet.

Well just wanted to stop in and touch basis. As some of you might have heard from previous post that I am selling Life Insurance now, and in a mere 4months Im currently holding the first place position for production in the company. All of that to say that I am starting to stack my REI bucks to buy cheap properties out of state and rehab and rent!! This is my plan and focus at this point in time, so everyone out there keep doing what you are doing, and if you are doing it well, then one our paths will meet!!
