It's been awhile now since last we spoke and I have made contact with you on both twitter and Facebook. Still waiting for your approval on Facebook but I also realize that you must be awfully busy. I'm patient and am glad to at least have had the privilege and honor to have made your acquaintance. Glad you are still finding the time to keep up with your journal as it is such a great inspiration. Most of all I am very impressed with your web mastery. Didn't realize what a master you are. Nice pages. Kind of Wordpress themes. Great work.Well, at this time I'm a little held back as my Father is now in a 24 hr facility as he had suffered a recent stroke and just when I had hoped to start with the success academy. Being somewhat disabled myself Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, missing L-5 vertebrae. And my daughter has been dealing with Arachnoidal cyst. Brain condition. It has been a struggle to stay financially fit. I know that you've been there as well and that's where the inspiration comes from. My heart felt Blessings to you and yours.

1st of all, let me add my congrats to you on the sheer volume of what you've been able to accomplish in the amount of time that you have. I was told to read your journals by another DG family member because of the challenges that you faced being very similar to my own--and i can say that after having read the 1st two journals I am certain that God is walking with you and guiding you every step of the way. I am planning to use your wholesaling techniques to gain myself not only some "fast cash" to take care of some situations that i am up against but to also help me to receive some needed confidence building. I started this journal in 2010 and wanted to update it. So I dug it out of the archive here in DG and figured I would bring it up to date.

Since this journal was created I have wholesaled over 600 wholesale deals, crazy right? It's not about the number of deals that I have done but it's more about the the boundaries that I have overcome in the process.

Each deal created a challenge, finding the deal, creating the deal and selling the deal always brings with it some perseverance, patience and challenges.The challenge is not only finding the deal in some markets but negotiating the deal down to a number where you can sell it. Once you get past this your pretty much there.

I must say that my family has come a long way since this journal was started. I have been able to send my older children to school. One graduated from college and is now a Youth Pastor and I sent two of my boys through trade school, one for HVAC and another is an Electrician. Since this journal we have built a successful family contracting business here in NJ.

So in essence I want to say that though the road has not been easy to walk and the challenges at times were great I have continued to press forward against the grain and have made myself successful. It's not about the number of deals that I have done or the money that I have made but it's about the byproducts from both. My family is free, my children are on their way to a great life as they now have the education to do what they love to do. And me..... well I think I will just keep overcoming challenges and pushing through obstacles to keep it that way

That is so wonderful...you did what you needed to do to get free. And helped your kids in the process--awesome! I want to do the same...my son is 24 yrs. old and I want to teach him that he can own his own business and be successful. I still have a ways to go, but I'm getting there!

I have really enjoyed getting to know you. I met you at the edge event and I have learned a lot about wholesaling from you. I have done a number of wholesale deals, but I have made a large focus on buying fixing and selling and also creative seller finance deals. Since the edge I have closed many other deals but no wholesale deals.

Lately I have had a huge drive to wholesale a property. I have been putting offers out like crazy, it is pretty competitive right now in my market so i'm not winning all of my offers, but I know I will get a wholesale deal soon. I'm really close i can feel it.
