Welcome to the board and we are glad to have you with all your experience in being a realtor/broker.
Yes you could get your husband to contract the deals you find and you will make your usual profit that a realtor or broker makes and he can make his fee as a wholesaler.
That would be a great way of doing deals.
Hi Sissy, Thanks so much for your response. I am working on our buyers list now and am excited to get the ball rolling. I just received Deans Set For Life System and my husband and I are watching the DVD's and absorbing all the info - great stuff! Been looking on DG.com and there is so much info, think I am on the right track in getting my buyers list ready first. If you have any tips for someone just starting out please let me know, I would welcome any thoughts and suggestions. Thanks again, hope to talk again soon! Nicole
Where to start! After receiving Deans books over 1 1/2 yrs. ago, I am no longer procrastinating! I am jumping in with all my heart and energy. I have wanted to do this for a very long time - now is the time! I have come to the conclusion that I have nothing to fear but fear itself and when I truly think about it, what is there to fear? I currently hold a real estate Brokers license and it finally occurred to me that I already find buyers/sellers in my current business so why I can't I do this for myself.
I also have just received Deans SFL system and have been watching the DVD's and am blown away by all of the creative ways to invest.
I am working on my buyers list, I took Matt Larson's advice and pulled up all the cash sales from 2009 to date and am importing them into an excel spreadsheet. I am also calling on the "I buy houses ads" and working on adding additional buyers. I also joined a real estate investment club and my first meeting is tonight, though I have to travel 1 1/2 hours to get there I am excited! This group meets once a month so I am hoping to network and make some connections.
I still have 2 more DVD's to watch which I will get to over the next couple of days. This while also keeping up with my real estate deals I am working at my "regular job".
Both my husband & I are working on this together and our goal is to create enough (or more, really)income so that we can do this "full time" and take advantage of the opportunities of becoming financially independent!
I'm pleased to "electronically" meet you & your husband ... am just getting started with "SFL" ... am very willing to "partner up" at every mutually feasible opportunity ... am very committed to & intent on SUCCEEDING, slowly, wisely, but steadily ... and am very willing to work hard & smartly, to "earn my share" !
If it's GOD's Will, prayerfully we will be able to DO WELL AS WE DO GOOD ... TOGETHER, from time to time. Let's be in touch. (RSVP ASAP !)
May increasing & abundant blessings be upon you & yours, and our entire, genuinely committed "DG Family" !
Thanks so much for responding, it is a pleasure to hear from you. We are also just getting started with the SFL system and are going to start our search this weekend for properties. Looking to build our buyer/seller lists and start wholesaling right away. Look forward to reading about your progress and will keep you posted on ours as well.
Aloha & Mahalo!

Licensed RE Broker
Hello, I have a question and am hoping someone could help out. I am a licensed real estate broker in a resort area located on the east coast. I have just gotten the set for life system and am wondering when I start making deals what would be the best way to handle getting paid. I am looking to find both buyers and sellers and put the deal together and get paid a fee; but should I find a deal (property that is already listed, whether my listing or not) through our MLS I will be compensated as a "Realtor" through the company I am currently with. How can I go about getting paid "on my own" or can I be compensated outside of a regular real estate transaction. My husband and I are working on this together, he is not licensed, so I was thinking that he could do the deals, I could find & assist in finding the deals and he could put them together and use my services as a Realtor. Any thoughts???
