I am a 52 year man that lost his job as a Network Support specialist for AT&T in 2003. I won't go into my total financial meltdown in the past 7 years, but it is not a pretty picture. I have had a few low paying jobs in the past 7 years that depressed me because the jobs were just not me. They were "dead end" jobs with no future. I am a fighter and never will quit. Since 2003, I have gone on and became a NYS Massage Therapist, and a Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker. I worked for a Broker from 2004 until April of 2009 and have not done any Real Estate since. I have always loved Real Estate since being in my early 20's but here I am 30 years later and still have not been able to reach my goal and vision of becoming that investor I always dreamed about. Understanding Real Estate to some capacity, it takes hard work and an extreme amount of due diligence to make a good deal happen. But the rewards are lucrative when the deal closes. It's such a great feeling to close on a good real estate deal. I have moved from the town I practiced real estate in to a small town in central NY Finger Lake Region, but I am very close to Syracuse, Auburn, Cortland, and Ithaca NY which are fairly good size cites. I have seen Deans TV show many times before. I ordered one of his books about a year or so ago and never opened it up. I hav all three of Dean's books and have read all three. I joined the academy and ready to get started. I can do this and will do this. I am always looking to meet new and interesting people and would be open to doing business with anyone looking to do the same.
