Day 77

Couldn't spend too much time today on RE but surprisingly, didn't get too much done on my order either. Kept thinking about the pending meeting with the short sale people as well as the other houses I called about, I guess.
I made an appointment to see a house not too far from the short sale house.
Things are starting to look up. Not quite the 30 day deal but at this point who cares. I have to consider this a marathon and not a sprint...for now.
Once I get my feet wet with a closed deal, I'll hopefully be able to move a little quicker. It's tough when you have the bills man breathing down your neck. You tend to want to take care of him first even if he is contrary to your bigger picture. I just hate second notices.

Besides that, I posted to some journals

Returning calls from Bandit Signs - handling RE Agents and Haters

I am getting TONS of calls from Bandit Signs in MT. With 20 signs out, I get about 15 calls daily. But some of those are HOSTILE callers -- for one reason or another. Here is the scoop on handling this real problem.

1. If you are not able to stop and take notes, let the call go to VM. Use Google voice ONLY. Total anonymity and a great service with tons of features mentioned earlier in my blogs.

help with short sale

I have a question what do you do when the invoster in your area say that ther over invosted.
now I find a house in a prestiges neighborhood that has no co-op, in a area where value is relly low. The property has been surveyed/appraisal in the last 90 days, value is 125k. I have spoke to the seller (motivated). This is for a cash buyer 88k. This is a great quick flip, the area rents for $900-$1400. Short sale everything is already done ready to close in 60 days. Help please what do you do I dont have the money?
I would like this to be mine frist deal.

Fresno, CA

I live here in Fresno, CA and I ran into a couple of realtors who are saying that the buy and hold strategy only works here. Plus there's more demand than supply here. Anyone who live here in the area? Help.

Day 76

Today was a break through day. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

I went to see someone who called from my signs about their house. They are the perfect candidate for a short sale. I went to see them today and have given their info to the Short Sale experts in my PSL REIA club. (I guess it's a good thing I still go to those meetings even tho they are so far away. I never met any short sale people at PCREIA.) If it works out, I'll be getting a check for half the profits from the sale. Even if it takes 6 months to complete, I'll know that I helped someone out of their jam and got them started on rebuilding their lives. That's a good feeling to have.

Other than that,
I returned a bunch of other calls from my signs
