Dean, your short blogs are long on inspiration! Thanks for taking time to share your wisdom every week. I can't think of another guru who would do that. It is important to so many people. Thanks again, Dean.

It's funny, my mother gave me similar advice when I was very young. Not to be jealous of the successful, but ask how they achieved, then learn how to do what they did. The fact that you are giving the same advice as my mother is very encouraging. Thank you for all you are doing. I haven't done a deal yet but I'm gonna get there.

I let my dreams be stolen away for many years and finaly I did what I knew was the right things to do and now I have three apartment buildings and a couple of duplexes and some others on a master lease. I owe the courage to Dean and I just wish I had started 40 years eatlier.

They inspire me and give me courage to get out of my comfort zone and take Action! I actually called around for some real estate agents to work with me! One is actually an investor! I don't know about most of you, but, to me this is an awsome action that I did on my own and this just gave me more courage to continue to comunicate with people I don't know, but that are in the real estate business. This just took the fear out of the equation once I did my first call. I never did real estate before. This is so exciting for me. I am riding this wave to the next step! The best part I like is the embracing change. Dean, your right! You have to embrace it! I know I did. Like the quote I heard in a movie, "in order to change, you have to change what you do." It's all about be, do, and have! Thanks for your videos and words of wisdom Dean!

This is soooo 'ON TIME'! Just got in from my 1st REI club meeting. WOW, I was shocked. After getting there 30 min. early, networking, then everyone introducing themselves with their 3 min. marketing (lol) then 1.5 hr. of speaker wrapped up by networking after wards. Let me tell you....for some reason I had this investor club meeting on some kind of pedestal I guess. I was so nervous going into to it. (ACTION DOES CURE FEAR)!!! But was on super excited....I sent out a ton of letters to Cash Buyers generated through SFL leads last week and I had just got off the phone with a cash investor that is able to close in 48 hrs. Fired UP! lol. Another to the list. But point being....some of these people had been doing 'investing' for 20 yrs. and 'I' the 'newbie' was the most positive and had the biggest dream in the room! How awesome is that!!! LOL. (Didn't speak on the dream of course) But was surprised at the number that had no idea what an assignment was.

traded contact info with several prospective buyers...one called 15 min after the meeting while I was driving home. Said he wanted to know more about what it was I was doing!!!

But in case you hadn't heard it today yet.....No one compares to you Dean!! Thank you so much for 4ever changing a girl from bama!

Hey there Deano..I know its been some time since I've chirped on your blog, but please pardon me for the lapsed time..I honestly can say I've been in the trenches. To experience the 'mind-set' from from this position can be challenging at first when you have zero credibility in the eyes of your network. Thanks to mentors such as yourself, I must say...you give validation to my existence. I've been touching on these very thoughts w/ my partner for the past few months and I personally have been making a stance for a few yrs now. So many individuals in my life saying how to carry out things such as money and relationships, yet the fruit from their trees look, smell, feel, and taste rotten. I'm blessed to be associated w/ you and those like minded.

Dean, it seems to me every week that totally amaze's me your blog speaks to me what I need to hear! Thank you, thank you!

Kinda sounded like you were talking about me. Every night I always get so motivated to finally do this (I have been watching your infomercials every night for the last 3 years). But then every morning when I wake up, when I could act and start making some calls, I hear other (unqualified) peoples voices in my head telling me all kinds of things that I talk myself out of it. But then every evening, when it's to late to call someone to get the ball rolling, you (Dean and the DG family) get me motivated again. What I need to do is watch this video tomorrow morning every time I start do doubt the potential that real estate has.

My favorite piece of advice my Mom gave me was "don't take no from someone who can't tell you yes." When it comes to customer service, this has been invaluable! Now I have another nugget of wisdom with respect to ALL areas of life - don't take advice from someone who hasn't succeed in that area! Great advice! Thank you Dean!

My father is a ream stealer, he is trying his best to get in my way when it comes to real estate. But I won't allow him to get in my way of me becoming a real estate millionaire...

Dean you're absolutely right! You have to surround yourself with people who are getting the results that you desire to achieve. .One of my favorite sayings is " It Ain't Nothing Wrong With Being A Copy Cat As Long As You're Copying The Right Cat!"

I am glad that people dont think that real estate works. If all my friends and relatives thought it was the best thing, it would be a lot harder for me to find great deals. Plus, then they would constantly give advice and criticize. This way I just do what I know and I will always know more about real estate than them.

Dean, I really agree with you. I am not letting ANY "negative Dream Stealers" enter my space. I know that I can and must do this for me and my husband. No going to the mailbox on the 3rd of every month looking for a social security check for us. I am not putting down ANYONE who may be receiving social security, it is just not the way of life that I want for us when we retire. Thanks again Dean!!

RIGHT ON!!!!!

Most people in my life have been surprisingly supportive, so I've been lucky in that respect. However, I have run into a few naysayers. These people are intelligent people I've known for years and whose opinions I otherwise hold in high regards. When I spoke to them, they told me real estate is not a good investment and 'why'. Thanks to your repetition of this message (don't listen to advice from people unqualified to give it), and the training from your books and videos and other DG sources, my antennas immediately went up and my mind was on guard. I was able to spot just where their thinking was wrong, and I tried tell them. My dear friends had no interest in listening...that's fine. I'll succeed soon enough, then I can show them instead of tell them.

People may think that there is majic involved this week but it really is just common sense. Dean, you hit the the nail smack dab in the middle of the head. You always listen to the "I CANs" and not the "I CAN"Ts". I have been spending too much time trying to convince people that you are right instead of proving why you are right. That ends right now!

Great advise i personally don't share what i am doing but when i get to ask questions in person
it is to someone that is sucessful it may not even be about real estate or the real esate buisness.If i'm out and about and the topic real estate comes up i just listen and disregard negativity.Thanks Dean now i know i'm on the right track

Dean, you're right about who you should and should not take advice from. My mom always said, "if you want something bad enough and you're willing to work for it, there's no reason why you can't have it, IF YOU SET YOUR MIND IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!" I've always found that to be sound advice. For someone born and raised in the coal mining area of Southeastern Kentucky, who never got any further than the eighth grade, she's one of the smartest people I know. Dean, this is something you'll appreciate, her and Daddy celebrated 60 wonderful years together, before he passed away in '07.

Dean, thanks for all the help and encouragement you give us. Now if you could just figure out a way to give us a remote kick in the can, to get us past the fear factor, we'd all be on our way.
