Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #198 - Score a FREE iPad from Dean

When ever I get down or just need some help, I look on the website. It is so helpful and each week I watch the wisdom. I did my first deal my using what I learned from Dean.

OK, I tired off sitting on the sidelines and listening to all the positive comments. So this is the time for me to take action and my first comment.

I need to be part of something positive and something big. I need to surround myself with people that are positive like me. People who are making a life for themselves because life is to short to wait.

I'll explain that in a minute. First a little history...

Now I am dating myself here but here goes. Many years ago I signed up for a real estate program with a guy named C-----n S----ts. I received a bunch of material but it might as well been in Greek. I had no idea where to start or who to speak to. I looked for their support team, but the program was bought, the tapes were paid, and I was all alone. Since then I have continued to watch many of these guys come and go on late night TV over the years. I looked at them all, but ultimately most were all the same, just a sales pitch.

Then 1 year ago with my own home in the beginnings of foreclosure I saw the DG commercial from yet another sleepless night of TV. But this was different. After watching Dean for years, (notice how i said watching, but not doing) something about this guy spoke to me that night. He was driving to his home in his car and speaking to me. Somehow I related, could this be the guy that would restore my faith in people wanting to help. Sure he was selling something, but this was simpler, not a sales pitch.

Still not convinced, I thought lets see what we can find out about this guy. I'm sure I would expose him and just caulk it up to another learning experience. So without buying anything or sending him any money, I started out on my search for info. Well to my surprise, DG has tons of info, and still he hadn't gotten any money from me. I signed up with no cost for the DG website and was blown away. Here is all this information and all these people thinking alike, sharing their information and helping each other.

I thought these are my kind of people. I have to surround myself with and hang out with these folks if I wanted to make something happen for myself. So back in May of 2012 I noticed that DG was coming to town for a seminar, this was it, now's the time to make it happen. I quickly signed myself and my son up for the May 26th 2012 event being held in my town. I called my son and said were going to do this together, this is the guy I have been talking about.

So what happened, why the time lapse from May to now my first comment. Remember in the beginning of my comment I said life is to short to wait, well its very true. Right after I signed up for the Seminar in my town, I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. I canceled everything. My life went on hold I had to act fast and I had to beat this sickness. Well I'll spare you all the details but I'm happy to say that after two surgeries and even thought I'm still in Chemotherapy, the Doctors tell me I am Cancer free.

So now is the time. Its never to late to start, and I am convinced that I want to start with like minded people. I cant think of more like minded people then the folks in the DG family.

So I'm off on my quest to become a big part of the DG family and am looking forward to a long and prosperous future for me and my family.

I am encouraged! I need some help to get this going because my resource$$$ are low and has kept me on the sideline. I want to get into the game but I just don't have any $$$ and too many kids. I have to do something though. Can someone help me? Is there someone out there that is in same position but has made at least one deal? Contact me if your are willing to help. I am willing to work for it.. I also want to help someone else like me once I am able to say I realy know how to do this.

One of the biggest benefit I believe deals with the concept of mentorship and support. Practically every success person or resource I've come across always talks about getting someone to mentor you to help make success happens.

Thanks for showing real people sharing their real successes. It's great to see such positive people - and it shows me that by practicing such a great attitude, and by taking the steps of my plans seriously, I can achieve the goals that I have for myself and my family.

It is always good to see regular people taking action in real estate. I'm personally working on my buyers list. I've got my bandit signs and putting my marketing in place. I wouldn't have done it with out your book.

This is what some of us need more then anything, I have been blessed because I have positive people in my life, they might tease me but would always support me in whatever I do, but even with that support you need that group of individuals which are going in the same direction you are, to share in the excitment of a common goal, because not everyone can feel that drive when it comes to real estate

It's so true. Since I have made contacts with other investors I have learned so much from them and have gotten so much support I couldn't believe it. I haven't made my 1st deal yet and God knows I could use it, but I know it is coming. The DG family ROCKS!

I found a partner wanting to do some investments. We bought a property and are getting ready for the rehab....purchase price $116,352 + rehab $60 ARV $250k. It's a awesome feeling. We are so excited to get started on this project.

I have also done 6 private lending deals with this investor and her siblings. I am so blessed to have found these investors who have cash to spend. We've developed a great relationship and look forward to making money together!

Hi dean graziosi, great blog, very excided when their are new faces explaining the success they had with the program.

Everyday I get up I thank God and ask myself how can I serve humanity better today than I did yesterday. Each day I have is about saving lives in one way or another. Either by sharing information to help someone keep their home and ending up in the streets to helping someone heal from a health problem. It's amazing the opportunities that lie before us if we just stop and listen to our innate. A great movie to watch: "Peaceful Warrior". The old man full of wisdom tells the younger know it all college student to stop thinking so much and throw out the trash (all the stinking thinking). Wisdom we can all learn from. All of my life, I have worked at a job. I got laid off from my last job in January of 2012. Since I have been to your class, I have almost stopped looking for work, because I want to be part of something that is big and that will last for the rest of my life. This business is all I want to do now. I want so much to be successful. Still working on my first purchase, but it has been many many years since I have had hope for my future. I love talking to people doing this business and they all sound so hopeful and happy. Seeing happiness in others just fills my heart so! I am just so happy now. thank you for all your motivating and inspiring blogs. I have tried and bought couple of properties but made grave mistakes that drained all my money and got stuck with one of them, however I am determined to continue. being in a bigger than me environment makes me see the light again and feel that I can find the support I need to continue no matter what.

Hi Dean, I'm sure you have heard the quote "The teacher will come when the student is ready". I also believe that there are no coincidences and nothing just happens. I have heard about you for about 10 or so years but was dismissive. Recently went to your live one day event in Los Angeles. I have to say when you don't know, you don't know. Your books are amazing and very encouraging. The resources you have on your website are amazing and most of which are free. You have another disciple in me Dean. Being part of something bigger than myself is INSPIRATIONAL! I look forward to Dean's blogs every week for Support and Motivation. ... is being part of a group that pulls in the same direction. Some day jobs can do that, but most can't. In the face of so much support and knowledge, how could someone be afraid to say "I don't know." I like what she said in the video: "Work the plan and plan to work." I'm building a strong structure and, with my team in Buffalo, will have my first deal soon. In quiet moments, I hear it coming!

I enjoyed watching the video and seeing a couple that has done something with the tools given to us. I am getting ready to start my 3 day class and can't wait to get started...I've read 2 of the books and listened to all the CD's in the volume one case.
I will admit I am a little scared but I won't let fear hold me back...I am looking forward to seeing these videos and learning from everyone.
I can't wait to be a part of the big picture.
You came along at a really hard time for me and I knew I needed to change a lot of things in my life so let's get going and have some fun....

You know what...I am doing my second deal in about 3 weeks since attending your seminar. I feel as if Your IPOD would be a great tool for me to use on my way up the real estate ladder of success. I have been reading "Totally Fulfilled" and have been approaching every day as if is my day to succeed...so why shouldn't I try and win the IPOD. If I don't try I certainly won't win.
