Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #203 - The Power of Now

Children can be great reminders of what life is supposed to be like. Living in the NOW. Taking in the wonder around us. This week, in addition to a really adorable "guest," Dean has a message about living your best life. You're gonna like this one!

He's cute!

What a smart kid with great self-esteem. I can tell he's going to be emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, intellectually healthy.

Little Brody and the power of Now!

Great video Dean. Love seeing your children, and if we could all try to live in the now, how amazing life could be.

Dean, as they say "the apple does not fall far
from the tree". I also had that same fun when my
boys were small--nothing like it. Thanks for the
reminder.

This is why I choose real estate

Dean,
I have children as well, and this is why I do real estate. I spend much more time with them now, then when I was in the banking industry. It makes me remember why I am doing all of this.

Watching Brody and you work together brings out the awesome memories of my boys when they were that young. And again, Thank you Dean, for another awesome weekly wisdom video. After watching the video I grabbed a piece of paper from the printer and made a poster to put on the wall by my desk to remind me everyday to live in the now and not the past or future.

Heck, I think I'll even put reminders in my cell phone. That way when it reminds me through out the day, I'll remember to pass that on to whomever is around at the moment.

Thanks Again !!!

Keep up the great work !

Power of NOW!!

Dean,

As always, I learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and helping to motivate me to take action NOW!! I am looking forward to sending you my success story in the not so distant future.

NOW, I must try to close these deals so that I can spend some time with the Children and especially the grandchildren.

Enjoy your little man and keep tickling!!! LOL

Thank you once again Dean. 'The Power of Now' is truly an inspiring book, and a great reminder to be mindful of life and our connections in it. Using our history, our past as 'reference' for our present to build our future is Huge! It's a wonderful way to help us keep our lives in balance and enjoy the present.
Here's to all of our families, may we all be mindful and respectful of each others individuality and beauty.

hey Dean

D-HI's picture

so true about living in the now, and that Brody has no clue about what could happen!

I have been telling my self for a few days now that I need to live like a child. Reason being is I am getting ready to go on a trip friday, and I do NOT like flying! So if I could just live as a kid, I would have no clue about ANYTHING, but the moment!

Living NOW

jeannieo's picture

Dean, your son is adorable!! Yes, children do live in the now. I have three sons, who are not so little anymore, but I remember them as little boys and how they had such enthusiasm for life and everything they did. I also remember what Jesus said about people needing to become like little children in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. It is so important to live in the present because it is the only thing we are promised. There is a saying that yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not here yet, but today is a gift which is why it is call the present! We all need to remember that each and every day. Thank you for sharing Brody with all of us!

Thanks Dean,

What a great reminder to live in the now. We also need to remember that there is enough to do for today. We can deal with tomorrow when it gets here.

Training Videos

I wanted to watch the training videos again but I cannot locate them. Con someone help me please?

Brody

Couldn't help but smile from the very start of this video. He definitely is not camera shy. Thought it was interesting that while your topic of the Power of Now is so applicable, Brody demonstrated even a 4 yr old has the capacity to think about potential consequences of actions: "If you get tickled and play you may fall down and hit your head, the blood may come out." Yet these "potential" consequences do not keep him from wanting to play tickle with his daddy. This made me think, as a new RE Investor, I must NOT be paralyzed by the idea that I am going to have "blood come out of my head" when I take action, otherwise, I will just end up sitting on my butt, and not having any fun. But only getting bored listening to people who have actually experienced the fruit of their labor. (Brody's expressions toward the end were classic!). Thanks Dean for all your encouragement. God bless you and your family!

The moment

mindset0380's picture

that is so true about living the moment, I have two kids and they get back up after being down like nothing ever happened, they dont think of bad situations just the moment of real time.

real time for them is happy time all the time and laughter which takes stress away and we all need some of that.

love everyone and lets have a fullfiled life!!!

The Power of Now

This video is true confirmation of what I was meditating on as I was reading Dean's book. I remembered when God told us we had to be as little children-receive. I was fighting overthinking things. This venture is new for me and if I was truly in "The Know," then I wouldn't be reading Dean's book.

Brody doesn't have JUNK preventing him from being who he is. He's without the worries of tomorrow or society, and we as adults must be the same way. Thanks. NO FEARS!!

So cute!

This was fun to watch. Your son is so cute Dean. Thanks for sharing.

Great reminder of how we are

RD2Invest1980's picture

Great reminder of how we are supposed to live. I now understand why my most favorite book says to "become as these little children."

OMG!! TOO CUTE!!

Mmatt73's picture

Brody is adorable! He reminds me of my 3 yr old. Full of energy, personality and funny faces! That was great..I had to watch it twice.

So true about living in the NOW and not focusing on the tomorrow or the past. I must definitely keep that in mind on this journey because it is definitely fear of the future that holds me back.

Thanks for sharing Brody with all of us!! I'm going to go hang out with my little one right now and just enjoy the moment!

OMG So adorable.

Thanks Dean for this video. Life is so much easier with you live it with out fear.

Matthew 18:3
3 And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Hi Dean,
Thank you for sharing your son with us he is sooo cute. What a blessing you and your wife have. I am so glad and really proud of you for taking time to have a daddy day with your children. We need you and your help Dean, but no one needs you more than your wife and Kids.

You are a real blessing to us and I must say THANK YOU to your wife and kids for sharing you with us as I know you are not a 9-5 ontrapaner. I am very close to having the money to get into the program that Nate and I are talking about. I don't only want the trial I am going to work hard to buy the whole program and that program will be the stepping stones to the 2000.00 program I really want to get into.

Next week I will be going to Fresno to learn from my dad how to flip and interview tenants for the rental. What I have learned from you now my father see I am really interested in learning the business and between what I can learn from you and my dad I know I can be a success. If it was not for you and my father seeing me studying your books and videos I don't think my father would have ever taught me the family business. Thanks Dean.

I have to say one of the best things about REI is that you can make your own schedule and fit EVERYTHING you want to do into your life, including time for the little ones! Smiling They grow up way too fast, but this career lets you treasure every moment! I had my little grandson with me this week, it is one of the greatest blessings! I LOVE being able to tell me daughter, yes, I can be there for her, and for him. Dean, thanks for making that possible in my life, and congrats on being such an awesome daddy, even while you take the time to be an awesome teacher to all of us!!

God bless! Smiling
Rina
