Sandy's Rainbow
Now over a week after the height of the storm the media is not covering the story as much. But there are people who still have no power, no homes, no heat and no gas. And yet neighbors are helping each other and people coming from other places to pitch in. There is sometimes a rainbow at the end of the storm. Thank you Dean for your kindness to people who are really suffering. I could see it in your eyes in the video. I owned a home in NJ that was flooded several times so I know the way a disaster can put your life on hold for a while. I also have family in NJ, who are OK, but had no power for five days. God bless anyone who has a kind and caring thought for the people affected by Sandy - and thank you Dean for your willingness to reach in your pocket to help.

Sorry for being late. I just read the e-mail now. I, unfortunately, have to have Dean's e-mails go to my spam folder, because if I don't, I get them @ 4:00am MST.

I live in New Orleans, I know what the storm victims are going through. All of the folks are in my thoughts and prayers
Count your blessings...
This is just the tip of the iceberg with now the snow. Do count your blessings. Keep in mind "ONE NATION UNDER GOD" so please pray that we the people turn back to God and make HIM our number ONE priority over everything else. I think someone is trying to get our attention and yet some people just don't get it. One day it may be too late and I believe that day is closer than most of us realize. God bless!

Hurricane Sandy
My prayers go out to all those affected by this terrible weather. It is really hard to comprehend all the property damage sustained. The people who have lost all or some of their belongings are in my thoughts daily, in addition to those who have lost their lives.
I lived in NJ for over 20 years, grew up in the NE, have had my share of bad weather, but luckily never experienced anything like Sandy. Americans are strong people, who always help others, it's time for all Americans to help these victims.
I AM PRAYING FOR EVERYONE THAT WAS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE SANDY
We are located just 20 miles south of Boston and we got real lucky because Sandy was heading right at us but ended up just missing us. I am praying for all the animals and people that were affected by hurricane Sandy and also for everyone that did not make it. May God bless all the rescue workers who put their lives on the line at a moments notice. For my sister's friend Paul in Long Island who lost everything that he had, but made it out alive. To all who made it out alive and lost everything, thank God you made it Because homes and personal items can be replaced But lives cannot. May everyone get back on their feet as soon as possible and may God bless all And Dean God bless you for being able to make a nice donation to all those in need.
My Prayers Are With You
Seeing what Sandy did and the storms that has destroyed other places, all I can do is pray for the people and hope that things get better. We all must realized that it can happen to us also. Sending out prayers for any and everyone who is having a hard time including our DG members.
Hurricane Sandy
To the victims of hurricane Sandy my prayers are with you. I recently relocated from western New York to Long Island New York so I myself was affected. Luckily our power came back quickly, but we were without internet and telephone for several days. We listened to the commentaries on the radio, but a picture is certainly worth more than a 1000 words. It was even worse than I imagined when I saw the 1st pictures. Anyway I just saw this email, so I hope I am not too late in responding. Dean, its nice to know that someone cares. On behalf of those who were affected, THANK YOU. My family was lucky , we lost nothing, but for those who did, God is certainly good, because for the devastation that was caused, more lives could have been lost.
My thoughts n prayers are

"SANDY"
God acts in strange ways that sometimes we cannot
understand, but never ever give up. Thank God
that you are alive and he will give you the Spirit
to overcome and rebuild. Thank you Dean for this
wonderful outpouring of all the members love and

Sandy
I've been in Florida for over 40 years. I know about hurricanes. Nothing good about them. It is very unfortunate for the people in New Jersey, etc. Being completely wiped out is a very sad situation. Since you are alive after the storm, you will recover. It will not be an easy thing. Some people have lost the entire house, records, pictures, but they are alive. They will recuperate.
Hurricane Sandy
We are praying for you and your family. This is devastating and we trust that the little bit we can give will help. You are in our thoughts and prayers each day.
Sandy Storm
I am very thankful that my family is safe. I live in South Jersey, but lost power as we slept. It is a very nice gesture that you give from your heart. You are a good man Dean. I pray for the people who have lost everything. I too am very thankful.
donations
this is a great thing you are doing.
be prepared
Just mailed some D batteries to someone I know
To the victims of Sandy.
To all the victims of Sandy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I would like to share a poem with you that I try to focus on in troubled times.
Don't Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and its turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When they might have won, had they stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit!
Thank you Dean for all you are doing.
Well Wishes for the "Sandy victims
Don't worry about tomarrow, you have enough to worry about today, God will take care of tomarrow.
HURRICANE SANDY SUPPORT
This storm was horrible and left so many great people without power, gas, and worst of all no home with nowhere to go!!!
I pray for them every night that they receive help and fast!
Please Dean send them as much money and support as you possibly can, especially in the forgotten areas like Staten Island & the Rockaways.
It's so nice that at least some rich people want to help like yourself.
Thanks for doing this I only wish more Millionaires and Billionaires follow your Lead!
