Tragedy
Dean,
You are very generous to donate to the victims. One day I hope to be able to be more generous. But, until then, I will put in my comment to get another $5 donated. Thanks Dean!
Thankyou
I have to thank everyone for their prayers and
concerns.I was very fortunate but alot of my
friends weren't.Thank God something good always
comes from something bad.Thankyou Dean for your
donations as many people here could use all the
help they can get. God bless us all.
Hang in There.
I know what you're going through with Sandy; coming from Florida, I experienced a lot of what you're going through and know how frustrating it is not to be able to get even a cup of coffee in the morning, or something to eat for your family.
How your car stalls through fresh new street rivers, when you go around looking for any open stores, and when nighttime is about to come and you're asking other people if they have candles or matches because you exausted your supplies; when after 15 days without electricity and leaving on a high floor, hope seems to fade...
At least I didn't have to experience the cold you've had to experience, and I can just prey that you and yours did get help soon. Best wishes to all of you.
JJ

hurricane Sandy
May compassion and swift help be guided by all the gods and goddesses to relief suffering to those victims. The powers of nature can be so destructive and yet let us kindle the positive energies of mother nature to aid in this crisis. Thank you, Dean, for your thoughts, leadership, and actions.

Christ Bless
May Jesus Christ, who knows and controls all things, shower His mercy upon the victims of this Hurricane Sandy disaster and all those affected by this thing and may He be a GREAT comfort to those victims...as well as to us all.
We're thinking and praying out here on the west coast for those folks hit by this thing back there on the east coast.
Dean, hopefully, whatever you end up sending, financially, to help these folks will end up being just that...a help. Noble of you to do such a thing, but then again, isn't that what we Americans tend to do when catastrophies happen...help and give a lending hand if possible.
Thanks Dean.
Sandy
Sandy may have been considered a Super Storm. However, God is greater. Peace, Prayers and Blessings to all affected by this storm.
Sorry
Sorry it took so long for me to put my comment up. Thanks Dean for all you do you are a true American.
This is a great gesture.
Thanks for doing this Dean.
I am in an area that lost power for a few days but frankly it was nothing in comparison to the losses experienced by those in the worst hit areas.
From a conversation I had with a friend who lives in and works at a school in Staten Island ... "The children are back in school and they are just devastated; they have no toys, no clothes and some of them don't even have homes to return to"
It is really heartening to see the great efforts to move forward being made by so many people, not to mention the Red Cross and volunteers from all over!
Prayers and blessings to everyone recovering and to everyone helping.

HURICANE SANDY
HAVING COME FROM POUGHKEEPSIE ( 80 MILES NORTH OF NYC ) I REALLY FEEL FOR THESE PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOST EVERYTHING. I NOW LIVE IN FLORIDA AND SEE THE DEVASTATION TORNADOES CAN DO ,NOW MULTIPLY
THAT 100 TIMES WITH A HURRICANE. TORNADOES ARE HERE AND GONE, HURRICANES TAKE DAYS TO DEVASTATE
AND THEN MOVE ON. I PRAY THAT THEIR RECOVERY IS SWIFT.GOD BLESS.

Thinking of all of you out East
Dean, this is great what you and the DG Family are doing. We are praying and thinking of all of you who were impacted by Sandy and hoping everything starts to get cleaned up and improved for everyone.
Sandy
Napoleon hill says:" Every adversity carries with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit."
I know this is not easy to comprehend after you have been hit by a major storm, never the less it is the truth, God wouldn't have it any other way!

this storm was intense. i hope everyone out there is ok and getting the help they need.
my husband keith was sent to NY to work helping restore power. to all the families, workers, and everyone affected. stay safe and positive. thank you dean for helping those in need.
Thanks Everyone for your kind thoughts & words
I'm new to the DG community. My husband and I just finished "Boot on the Ground" and on our way home bought supplies because we live at the New Jersey Shore and Frankenstorm Sandy was heading straight for us. We prayed all through the night and stared those waves in the face and told them to Stop! Our town of Ocean Grove was spared devastation unlike most of the shore. It's been hard getting through but so many people have poured out love and help on us.
Thanks so much Dean for your message of hope and help. It made me cry to see your words of wisdom: tears of joy and gratitude.
God Bless you all around the country and especially my friends here in Jersey--- we will stand strong, survive, recover. God is watching over us and He is FOR US!

Praying
Thank you everybody for supporting the people of the east coast God Bless and take care.
The devastating storm Sandy
My prayers and concerns go out to everyone affected by this devastating storm Sandy! I live in Queens, NY and had no electricity for about 4 days and I thought at the time that this was about the worse thing that could have happened! But I have learned that this is not true because there are still thousands who are without electricity, without heat, without family and friends support, who don't know how they are going to make it and who by-the-way have just had to endure another storm, this is the worse! I am praying for them and hope that this state and this country, that we can reach these people and touch their lives somehow and let them know that they are not alone and there is help!
You Are Not Alone
To all those effected by that mighty storm last week, know that you are not forgotten. Additional help is on its way. Remember that this storm messed with the wrong country as we the people are strong, brave and full of resources.
My Prayers are with you.
Most of us will never experience the pain and devastation that is being felt by those affected by Hurricaine Sandy. My prayers and love go out to all and I hope that the Lord will quickly heal your lives and return you to a sense of normalcy, peace and prosperity.
