There is a large variance in Columbus from very low to very high ($56K or less to over $350K)
With the new Casino just opening in town, things will really be picking up. Some homes have been on market for over 200 day's and there have been a lot of REO's and Foreclosures in our area over last couple ears. I want in on the ground floor to improve our city and our economy.

I honestly don't think this is a place to invest. We have lost Bombardier Inc and the granite manufacturing is going out slow but sure with China getting into the picture. That is only my opinion.

I have a florida & NC real estate license. I also have a appraisers trainees license in both as well. I have been an active member of BREIA and MREIA since 2006 and I am thoroughly family with what the real estate community is doing in all fascites of the industry in Broward and Dade counties.

Another area I was looking at is Benton,
which is about 20 minutes away...
There was an article in the paper recently
about a new shale mining operation opening
up that would produce 100+ jobs which would
help strengthen Benton, Bryant, and others
commuting from Hot Springs or perhaps L.Rock.

Will definately keep a close watch for the next opportunity because I think you would be interested in the Raleigh/Durham/Cary area because it is growing fast and I have a ton of experience birddoging, and overseeing rehabe projects for resale and rental. On any given day I can find at least 50 properties just in driving around in my car. I'm working with three realtor's in my area and they are keeping me very busy. this is a 24-7 job. I never worked so hard in my life. I don't mind it and look forward to getting that phone call from either one of you.
