Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #243 - Improve One Thing

Last week Dean talked about being the best “you” you can be. This week there is a challenge. Pick one thing you want to improve, something you can take action on this week. Write that thing below and then follow up with what you did to accomplish that at the end of the week. Also, the cute factor is heavily present in this video with the guest appearances of the Graziosi munchkins. Enjoy.

Challenge accepted!

Hi Dean,

First off, your little ones are adorable! They are so fun at that age. My Grandsons are 4yrs and 1yr old, and I want to make a difference in their lives.
This week, I am determined to find a good, reliable real estate agent to work with. I have some #'s...I just need to call! I'm hoping that will be the game changer.
Also, looking forward to the upcoming training videos. Always good stuff!

Thanks,

Josie Smiling

Loved seeing Breanna being more vocal. She has opened up big time!

Anyway, my goal is to get my house sold this week! It is listed for $229,900 in Meridian, ID. It's a 3 BE / 2.5 BA, main floor all hard wood. It's the house I am living in and it needs to go, so we can move to Oregon and I can start my RE business there.

Hope you and your family have a Happy Fourth of July!!

happydays's picture

What will be the challenge for this week? For me, it's the power team. I need a new agent and I need to interview a couple of attorneys. I have been hesitant and it's time to stop thinking like that.

Thank you Dean, for keeping it simple!

Your kids are really cute! Love the interaction between them Smiling

ROLE Reversal !?!

dglloyd's picture

LoVeD the role reversal of the kids in the beginning of the video!! LOL ! HOW did you get Breana to be "loud" on camera ??? and HOW did you get Brody to act so "boring" ? Too funny !
This week I am going to meet with another wholesaler in our area who claims to have more leads/properties than he can handle and try to work together with him with our extensive list of buyers which he says he lacks---sounds like a good fit !!!
BTW, Dean, I can't even IMAGINE you EVER being BORING !!! You are EVERYTHING but that !!!!! THANK YOU for all the motivation, direction, and wisdom that you provide to the DG family !!!!

Improve One Thing

beready's picture

I'm going to make an impact on my buyers list. This week's goal will be to have at least 10 buyers on my list by Friday. I will accomplish this goal by sending out at least 5 real estate offices an email based on Matt's script and by posting an ad on craiglist and one other site like craigslist.

Having your kids on the message with you like that is great! Just fantastic! So refreshing to see that you can share your life with them in that way.

BTW, they're beautiful.

Challenge

Cute kids! Almost as cute as my Grandbabies! ;0) This week I will actually do the driving for dollars and call 3 RE agents. Thanks for the refocus. Enjoy your 4th of July, and remember all those that are not home to go to their family picnic because they are making it possible for the rest of us to do so. God bless all of our soldiers and their families, and God bless the ones that paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

My Goal for the Week

REIforSuccess's picture

Is to build a buyer list and get started on my REI vision. I know that this will work for me and it would be wonderful if I could show my son that there is a future in Real Estate.

Happy 4th of July!

It was wonderful to see your children

My Challenge

shinton's picture

JUST DO IT. I need to take a minute and make that phone call now. When I get a buyer, I need to add it my list right away, or the property...file it right away. It will keep me organized, it will keep me on top of my game as I work with my buyers/sellers...it will keep my sanity. Nothing is worse than looking for my notes of the phone call I had earlier and cannot find them. It will keep me credible with my contacts and it will keep everything running smooth when I have more than one deal going. When we have it together it sparks an energy and enthusiasm that affects everything we do. I need to do this.
By the way, aren't kids great? And you have two beautiful children. I'm glad you're enjoying them.

Being a Father is Great!

Thanks for showing us your "Why." Your kids are adorable.

I have a 6 year old girl and a 4 year old boy at home. Which are my reasons for getting into real estate. My goal for the week: Make good on my promise to spend more time with my kids!

finding buyers

judithdjennings's picture

This week I'll start with the Inner circle and I intend to really learn how to find buyers.

Cute bored kids!

The best me

Ok, Get off the fence this week. Been here too long, move it.

Thanks for sharing the kids with us, really paints the perspective and helps me refocus on my goals and motivation, my why and who I want to be, my best me.

just right

Mighty1 Real Estate's picture

Well Dean you are right once again. One has but to look at one's own children to get that motivation and fire inside. I've wanted to quit more than once but always knew they would remember the things I had promised and they would hold me to it. So here I am, still trying to make my first deal and NOT quitting.
See u next week on your new WW.

Thanks for sharing Dean.

Showing that you're balancing business and family life...you are definitely leading by example. I appreciate that. This week I'm re-qualifying at least 5 of the cash buyers on my list or if needed add 5 more qualified cash buyers. Additionally, I'm developing 3 systems to consistently generate seller leads.

Challenges for this week

Hi Dean
I've been putting off this REI thing for two years or more today I located some possible deals for wholesaling I will challenge myself to talk to the sellers and contact at least one property owner if not two and then find buyers my fear was holding me back but now I have two avenues to find buyers in my market so lets see how it goes. I hope to post a success story at the end of this week. Wish me luck your kids are awesome I'll bet you enjoy whenever you get to spend your time with them (probably not as much as you would like) Thanks again your blogs are an inspiration Rich

Getting Buyers! :-)

KatCanDo2's picture

Oh Dear Dean,
I had a bad day yesterday, but WOW how your weekly wisdom made me SMILE Smiling love it!!

I've been trying like heck for 15 months to assign a purchase and sale agreement, it has fallen out of contract at least 4 times with NON- Performing End Buyers--UUUUGh So much Frustration on this one! BUT, you brought some light to what has been 'pending' on my to do list and that is: Look for more Buyers! More Buyers! More Buyers! and that's what I'm gonna do thanks for making me accountable, if I write it I must do it! So Tomorrow I will visit the Court house again (in a long time) I usually post only Good things on my journal on your website! But here is some Bad so that I can vent it out and leave it behind me,,,, soooo many things I did wrong probably! I talked with my partner (my Husband) who has moved out of town to make sure he has a job to support us, we go over my deals and catch up every week so that I can hear it coming out of my mouth and only THEN do I realize what I really NEED and MUST do! I'm PUSH-ing On--DEAN Thanks for the Wake UP CALL!

Challenge

I will keep trying to motivate myself to just do it.

Transition Time

tddonna's picture

One thing I especially want to work on this week (and probably for several months to come-LOL) is to make the leap from being my children's "mom" in the business to being their partner. It is wonderful to have my children working with me; however, it means I have to get out of the "mommy" mode and transition to treating them as mature, competent business partners. More difficult than one would think!

My challenge this week

TinaScott's picture

Hi Dean, thank you for the message this week, and I just think your children are precious. My challenge this week is to stick to my goals I have written down, not to let them slide, but to complete my weekly goal sheet. I had a great start today and when I stay on task, I actually get things done. We are working to unemploy me from my full time job so I can work for our company full time and not have the distractions of my demanding full time job that I hate. I am grateful that I have had the freedom to work from home, but my whole mindset has totally changed and I am just looking forward to this next chapter of our life.

Sweet

So inspirational, esp. when you include your children. We bought our first house last week at a sheriff sale. Always working on finding more buyers. Thanks, we enjoyed your weekly.
